My Alleged Husband

Chapter 317: Chapter 297 Get out!_1

”Remember this, from today on, you have no relationship with my son whatsoever. If you dare to show up around my son again, I will never forgive you. Since you have decided to leave him, you should never appear in his life again. Every time you show up, you bring him nothing but misfortune. You’ve never given him anything that he’d want to hold onto, but because of you, he has been hurt over and over again. I don’t want you disturbing his peaceful life in the future. No matter what he becomes, it has nothing to do with you!” Xia Jing spoke to Ran Zhihan.

”Auntie, I want to go to the hospital to see him. No matter what, it’s my fault he ended up like this. I feel responsible, and I want to take care of him until he recovers and is discharged from the hospital.”

”There’s no need because your every appearance doesn’t bring good to him. Therefore, I don’t want you to disturb him anymore. Now he’s been hospitalized and might never wake up for the rest of his life. I hope you won’t go looking for him, who knows what you might say to him now, do you understand? The doctors said his brain has been severely shocked, which has led to his current condition. He’s in a deep coma. Do you know what a deep coma means? It means he might have to lie in a hospital bed for the rest of his life. Because of you, he has suffered such great harm. Aren’t you satisfied yet? How else do you want to hurt my son? How can your heart be so cruel? He was ready to abandon his parents just to be with you. You’ve hurt him again and again, bringing him the greatest pain each time. Do you think what you’ve done is right?”

Ran Zhihan started to cry, ”Auntie, I really didn’t mean it. I didn’t know he would end up like this because of me. I truly didn’t intend for him to become like this. You know how much I love him. My heart is also in great pain because of his condition. Please let me go to the hospital to see him, I promise, once he recovers, I will never stay by his side again!”

Xia Jing swatted away Ran Zhihan’s hand, ”So what, you want to wait until he wakes up to cruelly abandon him again? You now have two choices—if you choose to go to the hospital and take care of him until he is discharged and recovers, then you must never leave him for the rest of your life. You must marry him and bear his children. If you decide you will still leave him after that, then you must not appear in his life now. Doing so will only cause him to suffer your abandonment once more when he wakes up. In that case, your heart would only seem even more cruel to me...”

”Auntie, I really can’t be with him, please forgive me!”

”In that case, we have nothing to discuss. Do not ever appear before me again, and even less in my son’s life. Otherwise, I will make you pay a heavy price. I will settle new and old accounts with you. At this point, I don’t even want to dwell on the past debts. I only hope that heaven is fair enough to let my kind son safely get through this critical period and wake up—even if upon waking up, he regains his memory, I wish he never recovers that memory. I don’t want him to suffer more hurts because of you, a malicious woman!”

Xia Jing finished speaking and left, leaving Ran Zhihan alone, hiding and secretly crying. She truly hadn’t expected that Zhang Yichen would end up like this because of her. Her heart was very uneasy; all of this happened because of her! She stealthily ran off to the hospital.

Arriving at the hospital, Ran Zhihan saw the person she loved most lying on the bed. She pleaded for a long time until the doctor allowed her to go into the intensive care unit to take a glance. Seeing Zhang Yichen, his body full of tubes, she couldn’t hold back her tears.

”Yichen, I am sorry, it’s all my fault. I caused you to end up like this. You should hate me. How can you be so foolish? There are so many girls better than me out there. Why do you have to go to such lengths for me? Actually, I didn’t really want to leave you. That day, when you were carefully pleading with me, I was already softened. But then you told me that without me, you would be fine, which made me even angrier. So, I decided to annoy you, to deliberately leave you. But I never expected that such a rash decision of mine would cause you such serious injury. I’m sorry, now there is nothing I can do. All I wish is for you to live happily. My greatest hope is for you to wake up, to open your eyes and see. I am even afraid you will scold me, hit me, hate me... I have no regrets. It was my own mistake, and I must bear it myself. Because of me, you suffered such a grave injury. I owe you an apology. If you could only wake up, I am willing to stay by your side for a lifetime, walk down the path of life with you, as long as you don’t despise me. There was a reason for me choosing to leave. I feared that being a commoner, my relationship with a rich heir like you after marriage would invite too many gossips and derogatory remarks, and make everyone look down on you. I didn’t want to drag you down, but I never imagined my decision would cause you to end up like this. My dear, I beg you, please wake up. Don’t just keep on sleeping. If you stay asleep like this forever, what am I supposed to do? Who will marry me, who will put the wedding ring on my finger?”

Just then, unexpectedly, Xia Jing arrived at the hospital. She found a doctor and wanted to enter the ward. She walked into the room and saw this woman. Xia Jing pulled Zhihan out forcefully.

”You, how insatiable can you be? Didn’t I warn you during the day? What are you doing at the hospital now? Aren’t you satisfied with him lying here like this? Because of you, he ended up in this condition. What else do you want him to turn into for your sake? Have a conscience! He has been so good to you, willing to give up everything, even daring to kick us, his parents, out of the house. But how do you treat him? I heard every word you said to him just now. Do you think those words still have any value? Do you think those words mean anything now? You’ve hurt him, hurt the man who loved you the most, and you have no right to stand here and whisper sweet nothings to him! A woman like you should have been run over by a car as soon as you stepped outside, but why are you still in this world? Did heaven leave you here just so you could harm my son? Get out of here, you’re not welcome. If you dare to come here again from now on, don’t blame me for being rude. I’m telling you now, get out, get out, get out!”

”Auntie, please let me stay. I want to be by his side!”

”My son doesn’t need a cold-hearted and ruthless woman like you by his side because you make me sick!”
