This Doctor Is Too Wealthy

So...

Du Heng stopped walking and turned to look at Song Zhiyuan again, ”Mr. Song, since the school has already made a decision about this matter, the result cannot be changed.

Moreover, the impact of this incident is too negative. It not only harmed you and the students but also caused irreversible reputational damage to the school.

Therefore, it’s impossible to change this result.”

Song Zhiyuan’s eyes darkened, but suddenly a sense of hostility emerged in him.

At this time, Du Heng pretended not to notice, and continued, ”Would it work like this, since things cannot be changed, I can plead with the school for you, turning your dismissal into a resignation.

This way, it will not affect your ability to find another job. And since you have experience working at a university, I believe finding a job should still be easy for you.

If you continue to make a fuss, letting everyone know about this matter, it will not be good for you in the future.”

This approach by Du Heng, although it seemed to give Song Zhiyuan an opportunity, basically meant that he did not intend to let him stay at the school.

Having him leave was something that had to be accomplished.

Choosing a relatively dignified way to leave was one of the few acts of kindness Du Heng showed towards him.

If he did not know his place, then for someone like him who might take extreme actions, Du Heng might also take some drastic measures.

However, Du Heng’s evaluation of Song Zhiyuan was accurate. He was a selfish person. When he saw that Du Heng had offered him a glimmer of hope, he immediately got excited, ”Thank you, Mr. Du, I will go back now and write my resignation letter.”

Du Heng nodded gently, ”You’re still young; it doesn’t matter if you take a wrong step for a while. There is still a lot of time ahead of you.

Go, I will call Director Zhao now to plead for you.”

Song Zhiyuan did not dare to hesitate, fearing that Du Heng might change his mind, he quickly turned to leave.

The hospital resident looked at this scene curiously, wanting to ask about the reason, but seeing Du Heng turning to leave, he wisely suppressed his curiosity.

True to his word, Du Heng called Director Zhao while walking.

With such people, unless you can utterly destroy them humanitarianly once, don’t push them to the extreme.

Because such people will never find issues with themselves; they always habitually attribute problems to others.

Hanging up the phone, Du Heng joyfully walked towards the canteen. Regarding the matter of Du Xuejing, whether on the school’s side or with the cosmetics company, he achieved his objective.

Passing by the Surgical Building Inpatient Department, Du Heng suddenly noticed a crane outside the building, with someone cleaning the glass.

Fellow townsman?

Huang Jufu?

Du Heng focused on the busy figure but realized that this person was not his fellow townsman.

Quit?

That’s unlikely, wasn’t he worried about his daughter’s surgery expenses?

Thinking about Huang Jufu mentioning his daughter, Du Heng felt uneasy.

It’s been over a week, and he didn’t know how his daughter was doing or if he had gathered enough for the surgery.

After having a meal in the canteen, Du Heng felt more troubled the more he thought about it; he wanted to help this fellow townsman.

For such a young man working hard by taking risks to earn surgery money for his daughter, just for that alone, he deserves a helping hand, not to mention, he is also a fellow townsman.
