Suicune ultimately left with Absol, but before departing, it left Chen Mo with a clue about Entei’s whereabouts.

However, according to Suicune, the last time it saw Entei was already half a month ago.

Given the Legendary Beasts’ habit of roaming across the land and carrying out their respective duties, Chen Mo seriously doubted whether Entei was still at the place called Tianchi.

Chen Mo sighed softly in his heart.

”Roserade.”

After Suicune and Absol left, Roselia also approached Chen Mo with Budew to say goodbye.

Roselia carried itself with elegant manners. First, it thanked Chen Mo for helping earlier, and then sincerely apologized for impulsively attacking him before.

With Pikachu translating, Chen Mo gradually learned the truth behind the incident.

”So it really was poachers…”

Chen Mo had absolutely no goodwill toward people whose goal was capturing Pokémon.

If they were allowed to continue operating freely, it would only worsen the conflict between humans and Pokémon.

He had already been considering it before, but now Chen Mo felt it was time to formally propose some suggestions about this issue to Professor Zhou and the others.

At that moment—

Chen Mo suddenly realized something.

At some point, the Electabuzz he had rescued earlier with a Revive Shard had quietly left the area.

”Roserade.”

After thanking Chen Mo once more, Roselia led Budew and walked deeper into the forest.

Meanwhile, the ancient Pokémon near Aerodactyl seemed to be discussing something collectively.

Soon several Kabutops and Omastar stepped forward, leading a few Pokémon that still appeared to be in decent condition and heading off in different directions through the forest.

Not long after, some of them returned first.

They brought back many berries and other food, distributing them to the ancient Pokémon that were extremely weak after waking up.

”RAAAH!”

Aerodactyl, circling high in the sky, suddenly roared down at them.

The ancient Pokémon distributing berries trembled in fright, dropping fruit everywhere.

They looked at each other uncertainly.

Eventually, a few Kabuto carrying berries stepped forward and walked toward Chen Mo and his group.

”What’s this…”

Chen Mo glanced at Aerodactyl, who was secretly watching from above.

He quickly understood what it meant.

Clearly, Aerodactyl was also apologizing for what had happened earlier, trying to resolve the conflict by offering berries.

For Pokémon, one of the most important things in life was food necessary for survival.

Giving away the food they had collected themselves was already the greatest form of apology they could offer.

”Pikachu, Pidgeotto, Haunter—go ahead and accept the berries.”

While his Pokémon accepted the fruit from the Kabuto, Chen Mo waved toward Aerodactyl to show he understood its intention.

The next moment—

Aerodactyl immediately turned its head away, flapped its wings, and flew straight back into the underground cavern.

Chen Mo chuckled but said nothing.

If nothing unexpected happened, after this incident the ancient Pokémon would likely integrate into the Evergreen Forest ecosystem in a much gentler way.

Of course—

considering their dietary habits, friction with other Pokémon would still occur.

But it certainly wouldn’t be as extreme as when they were in their red-eyed frenzy earlier.

And with Suicune’s influence, things would likely become far more peaceful.

This was probably the best possible outcome.

”Wait… am I forgetting something?”

After thinking for a moment, Chen Mo suddenly remembered.

He quickly took out his phone, checked the chat—

—and realized the livestream had practically exploded.

[I swear, I really swear, did Mo-baby forget he’s still a streamer!?]

[Seriously, I know you just survived a life-or-death battle and saw a Legendary Pokémon, but think about us viewers too! Asking questions and getting no response is torture!]

[Hui-ge! We need Hui-ge!]

[READ THE CHAT, YOU IDIOT MO-BABY!]

[Once there was a great outdoor science streamer… but he never read chat, so we all unfollowed him.]

[Selling blue pills! Effect: lets you slap the idiot streamer through the screen!]

All kinds of messages flooded Chen Mo’s screen.

Especially when the camera captured him taking out his phone—the chat activity surged even more.

”…Alright, alright, stop scolding me. I know I messed up.”

”From now on, I’ll remember my responsibility as a Pokémon science livestreamer.”

This really was Chen Mo’s fault.

Once the crisis ended, he should’ve paid some attention to the chat.

But Suicune’s appearance had been too astonishing.

And his conversation with Suicune had completely made him forget the livestream.

”My mistake. I deeply recognize my mistake.”

”If you have questions, ask them now and I’ll answer as many as I can.”

After venting for a while, viewers quickly shifted their focus back to Suicune.

[Mo-baby, was Suicune communicating with you just now? It didn’t make any sound, but you were talking like you were having a conversation.]

[No complaints, but SCIENCE PLEASE. First time seeing a real Legendary Pokémon—aren’t you going to properly introduce Suicune?]

[Exactly. I don’t care about anything else right now. Tell us about Suicune!]

[Did no one notice the other name Mo-baby mentioned earlier? ENTEI! That name is awesome. I bet that’s another Legendary Pokémon!]

Chen Mo glanced briefly at the chat.

The questions were mostly similar.

”You’re right. Suicune has the ability to communicate with humans through telepathy.”

”So while it might have looked strange to you when I was talking earlier, I was actually having a conversation with Suicune.”

”Suicune told me that it can’t help with Ah Hui’s Caterpie’s condition. But another member of the Legendary Beasts—the one some of you mentioned, Entei—might be able to solve it.”

Seeing the chat become even more excited, Chen Mo smiled slightly and continued.

”Don’t rush.”

”My knowledge about Suicune and Entei is limited.”

”But regarding them, I do know a story.”

”You can think of it as a different kind of Pokémon science explanation—one with a bit of a legendary flavor.”

”It’s a story from the Pokémon world.”

”And the beginning of that story…”

”…takes place in an ancient city called Ecruteak City.” 🌙✨
