Chapter 1193: Chapter 1192: The Next Target Has Been Set

”Anzu sister?!”

Seeing Sakurazawa Kyoko suddenly collapse, the little girls around were taken aback and hurriedly gathered around. Fang Zheng also quickly stepped forward, reached out his hand to Kyoko’s neck, and raised an eyebrow.

”No breath.”

”Huh... huh huh huh?!!”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s words, the girls were momentarily stunned, then screamed immediately.

”What should we do? What should we do? Should we call an ambulance?”

”I have some medical gel here...”

Illya, in a panic, even took out the medical gel.

”Don’t panic.”

Fang Zheng waved his hand, then connected with Fate through the communicator.

”Come back, Fate.”

”Okay.”

Fate, who was far away outside, was unaware of what had happened. Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s order, she obediently returned. When she saw Sakurazawa Kyoko lying on the ground, she was shocked and hurried to Fang Zheng’s side.

”Teacher, this is...?”

”First, give me the Soul Gem.”

”Okay.”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s order, Fate hurriedly handed the Soul Gem she was holding to Fang Zheng, who then placed the Soul Gem back into Anzu’s hand. A moment later, Anzu, whose previously hollow eyes had restored their vitality, sat up and was startled by the circle of girls around her.

”Wait, why are you all surrounding me? What happened just now?”

”Thank goodness, Anzu sister, you don’t know...”

But before Illya could say more, Fang Zheng gestured for her to stop, then looked at Anzu.

”Anzu, first tell me, what did you feel just now?”

”Just now? Just now... I suddenly felt nothing... I don’t really know, it was like I blacked out abruptly. Did you guys knock me out...?”

”And now? How does your body feel?”

”Everything’s normal?”

Anzu jumped up, moved her limbs, then carefully looked at the Soul Gem, perplexed, and gazed at Fang Zheng and the others.

”Are you sure you didn’t do anything? What exactly happened?”

”Just now, Anzu sister, you suddenly fell down!”

This time Illya quickly spoke.

”Just now, no matter how we called you, there was no response, and MASTER said you had no breath...”

”Huh? What kind of joke is this?!”

Listening to Illya’s frantic explanation, Anzu was incredulous, and Shisei stepped forward at this time.

”That’s indeed the case, look, we also have a recorded video...”

While speaking, Shisei opened her personal terminal and showed Anzu the footage from just now, leaving Anzu even more dumbfounded.

”Wait, wait, what on earth is going on? Why didn’t I feel anything?”

”The reason is simple.”

It was at this moment that Fang Zheng spoke. He reached out, pointing at Anzu.

”Because... this is not Sakurazawa Kyoko.”

”Huh?”

”Big brother, what do you mean by that?”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s words, the nearby girls were extremely surprised, while Anzu herself was full of confusion.

”Are you kidding me? If this isn’t me, then who is?”

”It’s obviously this.”

However, hearing Sakurazawa Kyoko’s words, Fang Zheng once again reached out to point at the Soul Gem in Kyoko’s hand.

”The soul of Sakurazawa Kyoko is in here.”

”Huh———!?”

Hearing this, everyone couldn’t help but scream, while Little Sakura looked at Fang Zheng with some puzzlement.

”Teacher, does this make any difference?”

”Of course.”

Fang Zheng waved his hand, then looked again at Sakurazawa Kyoko.

”Simply put... Sakurazawa Kyoko’s soul and body have been separated. How to explain it... it’s like the central core and peripherals of a computer. You should know that without a camera, audio equipment, playback facilities, or monitor, a computer wouldn’t make any sound or have any reaction, right? In fact, the body of Sakurazawa Kyoko now is no different from computer peripherals. Her core—her soul—is in the Soul Gem, and once the Soul Gem and body are too far apart, the connection is lost...”

At this point, Fang Zheng looked at Anzu.

”Judging by your look, you seem completely unaware of this?”

”What nonsense are you talking about!”

At this moment, Anzu’s face was grim.

”I’ve never heard of such things! Neither have the other Magical Girls! You must have done something, right!?”

”Think whatever you like, I’m just stating the facts as I’ve determined them.”

However, faced with Anzu’s question, Fang Zheng didn’t waver in the slightest.

”Moreover, I have another question.”

”What’s the question?”

”You said that you signed a contract with a creature called QB, becoming Magical Girls, and as the price, it grants you one wish, right?”

”That’s correct.”

Upon saying this, Anzu seemed to recall something, and her expression darkened a bit.

”What’s the problem?”

”Of course. I want to ask if it said it could fulfill any wish?”

”Well... something like that? So what?”

”The question arises, why has no one wished to eliminate all witches?”

”........? Huh?”

Upon hearing this, Anzu was stunned again.

”Isn’t it strange that if the creature called QB indeed said it could fulfill ’any wish,’ it would mean it should have enough power to completely eliminate those witches. Even if the creature called QB had some constraints or concerns and couldn’t do it proactively, as long as one girl wished ’to destroy all witches’ when signing the contract, wouldn’t this world be completely at peace? Why don’t they do this? It’s obvious, thinking with your head, that a single wish to eliminate witches would be much better than transforming into a Magical Girl and fighting while risking danger, right?”

”Yeah... indeed...”

In response to Fang Zheng’s inquiry, Little Sakura, Nanoha, and the others also came to this realization.

”Why has no one done this?”

”This...”

Now Anzu was speechless. She stepped back a few paces and then looked at Fang Zheng and the others.

”I don’t know, and I don’t want to know! Since nothing’s wrong now, I’ll be going!”

After saying this, Anzu turned directly and left, soon vanishing into the night.

”Anzu sister!”

Seeing Anzu leave, the girls shouted, while Shisei sighed.

”It seems this sister isn’t very inclined to believe us...”

”That’s normal, but at least we’ve gathered enough information. At the very least, we know the core of everything in this world...”

”Teacher, are you referring to that creature called QB?”

”Yes.”

Hearing Little Sakura’s question, Fang Zheng nodded.

”It seems next up, our task is to find that QB.”
