Chapter 1166: Chapter 1165: Come Forth, Elysia

”Your existence is a mistake!”

Upon hearing this sentence, Fate’s face instantly turned ashen. Although she had already guessed something when she saw Elysia earlier, when Precia said this to her face, Fate still felt a heart-wrenching pain. Her legs gave out, and she knelt on the ground.

”Fate!”

Seeing this scene, the surrounding girls hurriedly stepped forward to help her up. However, at this moment, Precia, as if venting, began to shout angrily.

”I went through such great efforts to finally create you, but why, why don’t you resemble Elysia at all? Elysia was obedient most of the time, but sometimes she was mischievous. And you? You’re just a doll, a doll that obediently does whatever I say! Elysia had no talent for magic, but why do you possess such power? You’re not my daughter at all! Not at all!! I wanted to resurrect my beloved daughter, not create a monster like you!”

”Stop talking!!”

Hearing this, Nanoha finally couldn’t hold back and shouted, while Illya and Little Sakura were glaring at her angrily.

”How can you treat Fate this way, she worked so hard for you...”

”Yes... Even if she’s not your real daughter, but...”

However, before they could finish, Fang Zheng waved his hand, interrupting the girls’ questioning.

”Alright, let’s stop here for now.”

”But, teacher...”

Hearing Fang Zheng speak, Little Sakura opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but Shisei beside her gently placed a hand on her shoulder, shaking her head in silence.

At least someone understands.

Glancing at Shisei, Fang Zheng nodded at her, then turned his attention back to Precia.

”So, your ultimate purpose for collecting the Seed of Holy Stone is to resurrect your daughter, Elysia Trestrosa, isn’t that right?”

”That’s correct.”

Now that the truth was laid bare, Precia naturally did not conceal anything, and nodded honestly. However, what Fang Zheng said next made Precia’s face change drastically.

”So, if I help you resurrect your daughter, then you won’t need to collect the Seed of Holy Stone, correct?”

”You...?”

Upon hearing this, Precia’s eyes widened, looking at Fang Zheng.

”You... What did you say? You can... resurrect Elysia?”

”Of course.”

Fang Zheng nodded.

”So I need to confirm, as long as I resurrect Elysia, will you give up collecting the Seed of Holy Stone and cease actions that endanger this world?”

”I will!!”

At that moment, Precia nearly crawled to Fang Zheng’s feet, kneeling, her eyes fixed on him.

”As long as Elysia can be resurrected, I’ll do anything! Whatever you ask!”

”Then, I hope you’ll serve the Heavenly Dao Palace.”

Hearing this, Fang Zheng naturally proposed his own condition, knowing that Precia was an extremely skilled Grand Archmage and a scholar, someone his Heavenly Dao Palace urgently needed. After all, while Fang Zheng’s side might have advanced technology and magic knowledge, they were still figuring out how to combine the two. In Nanoha’s world, Magitech has already been developed to a high level, and Fang Zheng would not miss the opportunity to bring Precia into the Heavenly Dao Palace to enhance their tech tree.

”I agree!”

This time, Precia nodded forcefully, without any hesitation.

”I’ll do whatever you want!”

”...........”

Watching the crazed woman before him, Fang Zheng sighed.

”Since you’ve made your decision... But, have you ever thought about what Elysia would think if she saw what you did to Fate?”

”What do you mean by that?”

Upon hearing this, Precia’s face changed slightly, yet this time, Fang Zheng didn’t say anything further but turned and walked over to Fate. Seeing his approach, Fate lifted her head in confusion to gaze at Fang Zheng, who then extended his hand.

”Come out now, Elysia.”

”Eh?”

On hearing Fang Zheng’s words, everyone present was taken aback; they looked at Fang Zheng reaching out to Fate, not knowing what he was up to. But Fang Zheng continued to gaze at Fate, speaking one word at a time.

”You know what I’m talking about, come... hold my hand... yes, just like that...”

The next moment, an unimaginable scene unfolded before everyone.

Before Fang Zheng’s extended hand, tiny golden photon particles began to emerge. Then, a little girl, about five or six years old, wearing a dress, looking exactly like Fate, materialized out of thin air. She stepped out from within Fate’s body, her face showing a blend of anxiety and sadness.

”Elysia...”

Staring in stunned disbelief at the little girl in front of her, Fate was at a loss for words. Hearing her speak, Elysia turned her head with a sad smile, looking at Fate.

”I’m sorry, Fate... Mother is, in fact, a gentle person, but... because she was too gentle, she lost her sanity...”

”Elysia! Elysia!”

But before Elysia could finish, Precia almost scrambled over, hugging Elysia tightly.

”My daughter... my daughter... it’s mom... it’s mom’s fault, if it weren’t for mom back then...”

”It’s not your fault, mom...”

Elysia reached out, hugging Precia, and whispered in her ear.

”I’ve always been inside Fate’s body, watching mom... I was truly sad, because mom... turned into what she is today because of me...”

”Sob... sob sob...”

Hearing Elysia’s words, Precia said nothing, merely weeping loudly.

Watching this scene, Fang Zheng shook his head and then exhaled softly.

Elysia’s soul was the reason Fang Zheng dared to approach Precia in the first place.

Fang Zheng remembered the second season finale of Nanoha where Fate was absorbed by the Book of Darkness, living in a false world where only Elysia was real. So, he always suspected a part of Elysia’s soul was hidden within Fate.

Fortunately, while examining Fate, Fang Zheng confirmed his hypothesis, which is why he brought everyone here to negotiate with Precia.

But now...

”Ahem.”

Watching the mother and daughter embracing and crying, Fang Zheng had to clear his throat, interrupting the touching reunion.

”I’m sorry to interrupt such a moving reunion, but I must remind you, this isn’t a final farewell; what we need to do next is resurrect Elysia...”

”Ah, yes, yes!”

Upon hearing this, Precia, a bit embarrassed, wiped her eyes, then respectfully stood and looked at Fang Zheng.

”What should I do next?”

”Next, I need a part of your soul.”

Fang Zheng unreservedly explained.

”As you can see, Elysia currently has only a part of her soul. It’s not enough for a full resurrection. So, I need to extract a piece of your soul power... I must warn you, after it’s extracted, your power will be significantly weakened, potentially even weaker than Fate’s, and your body will weaken for a while...”

”It doesn’t matter!”

Yet, before Fang Zheng could finish, Precia interrupted him.

”I’m willing! As long as my daughter can be resurrected, I’ll do anything, even give my life!”

Upon hearing this, Fate looked at Precia with an expression of sheer bewilderment.
