Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1171: Chapter 1170: Mysterious Existence

What exactly is this?

Looking at the giant creature before them, the girls couldn’t help but feel puzzled. However, just at that moment, they suddenly felt the surrounding space gradually growing chaotic...

”The space is vibrating!”

Precia was also staring seriously at the screen at this point.

”Master, we should...”

”I got it, I’ll handle it.”

Hearing Precia speak, Fang Zheng nodded, then he stood up, planning to head to the scene directly.

But no one noticed that at this moment, a small black kitten walked out of the shadows. It raised its head, staring at the giant creature before it, then stretched out its paw to gently tap the ground, meowing softly.

”Meow———”

In an instant, the scene before everyone seemed to shatter like glass struck by a stone, breaking apart. Accompanied by a soft ”crack,” the eerily-colored sky, the pitch-black giant demon creature, including those shadow creatures, everything vanished without a trace.

What’s happening?

Looking at this strange scene before them, everyone was stunned for a moment, but Fang Zheng quickly reacted.

”Precia, transport everyone back!”

”Got it!”

Soon, the magical girls who had been fighting in the school were all transported back to Fang Zheng’s home. Fang Zheng then had Precia perform a series of checks on their bodies and magic power, and the data indicated everything was normal, with no problems whatsoever.

However......

”What was that really, MASTER......”

After the inspection, Illya hurried over to Fang Zheng’s side and grabbed him.

”So scary......”

”Was it really that scary?”

Seeing Illya trembling like that, Fang Zheng seemed a bit at a loss. The creature was indeed a bit ugly and bizarre, but its power wasn’t all that strong... Of course, Fang Zheng himself wasn’t present, so he couldn’t have felt it.

”Ugh...... To say it’s scary isn’t quite right; rather, it’s very uncomfortable.”

At that moment, Little Hei also walked over, expressing with a bitter face.

”How to put it...... It’s like a snake seeing a frog...... Regardless, it’s quite annoying, and I really don’t want to fight such things at all......”

”Is that so?”

Hearing Little Hei’s complaint, Fang Zheng frowned, if it was just Illya, it might be a personality issue, but when even Little Hei felt the same way, it was a different matter.

”Nanoha, Little Sakura, Fate, what about you?”

To be on the safe side, Fang Zheng also asked the others, and to his surprise, both Little Sakura, Nanoha, and Fate uniformly expressed that the moment they saw that demon creature, they felt extremely uncomfortable. As for what exactly was uncomfortable, they couldn’t say, but in summary...... It was uncomfortable.

”So how did the creature finally disappear?”

”I’m not too sure either......”

Faced with Fang Zheng’s question, the girls all shook their heads bewilderedly.

”At the time, we could sense the creature’s hostility, and just as we were preparing to engage in battle with it, suddenly...... with a ’crack’, it was as if the entire world shattered before us. By the time we came to our senses, everything including that demon creature had vanished without a trace.”

”...... Alright, I understand.”

Hearing the girls’ answers, Fang Zheng was silent for a moment, then nodded.

”Let’s call it a day for now. Although it was unexpected, at least Little Sakura’s Clow Cards were successfully retrieved. It’s already late now, so you should go home and rest.”

”Okay, teacher!”

”Goodnight, Mr. Fang Zheng.”

Although the girls were equally puzzled, as Fang Zheng mentioned, it was now deep into the night. Due to the sudden appearance of that last creature, they had already wasted quite a bit of time. If it went on, they might sleep through the morning. So the little girls obediently bid Fang Zheng goodnight and left, yawning one by one.

”Precia, what do you think? What was that guy trying to do?”

After confirming the girls had left, Fang Zheng returned, seriously looking at Precia, who also nodded with a serious expression.

”I could detect the spatial distortion...... If my guess is correct, then that demon creature was trying to open a spatial passage, to send those children to that world.”

”Like you intended to do with the Seed of Holy Stone?”

Fang Zheng certainly remembered how Precia once planned to use the power of the Seed of Holy Stone to force open the space-time rift and head to some ’Alzahard’ or some place like that......

”This is somewhat different.”

Hearing Fang Zheng mention her dark history, Precia seemed somewhat embarrassed, but she continued to explain.

”The reason I needed to use the power of the Seed of Holy Stone is that the road to Alzahard is closed by nature, so I needed to forcefully open it. However, this demon creature seems to already be connected to that world, meaning...... as long as it ’swallows’ those kids into its body, it can directly ’return’ to that world.”

”I see...... Another dual-world situation......”

Hearing Precia’s explanation, Fang Zheng finally understood the problem. In the past, he might have doubted it, but after experiencing the adventure in the Mech World, Fang Zheng knew that some worlds are two sides of the same coin. For example, the front side of the Mech World is Mass Effect, while the reverse side is the Gundam World; two overlapping worlds, yet separate, like two parallel lines, with almost no intersections.

Except for some accidents.

Like dimension quakes or something......

Fang Zheng also knew that this world has the Space-Time Bureau, meaning multiple time-spaces interconnecting in this world is quite the norm. It’s just that the anime didn’t explicitly depict it, but if you think carefully, you’ll understand———if there weren’t countless worlds intersecting here, why would there be a Space-Time Bureau organization?

Why not just call it the Turtle Heap Village Committee for more intimacy?

I, Nanoha, the officer of Turtle Heap Village Police Station!

See, much more down-to-earth.

Alright, enough nonsense...... Back to the point, if it is as Fang Zheng predicted, then the situation should be similar to the Mech World where the Reaper ran to the Gundam World.

Only this time, it’s the opponent’s BOSS running over to his world?

Fortunately, so far, the BOSS’s power doesn’t seem very strong, but if there are more instances...... then it’s anyone’s guess.

In any case...... Let’s watch and wait for now.

And what puzzled Fang Zheng the most is, how did that BOSS disappear at the end?

Thinking this, Fang Zheng walked out of the room, casually picking up the little kitten lying on the sofa.

Pat the belly, rub the face, and snuggle, snuggle, snuggle.

”Meow......”

Oh well, forget it, cats are so cute, just snuggle with a cat.
