Chapter 1155: Chapter 1154: A Dark and Windy Night

”Alright, time for bed. Sakura, you should head home too.”

Watching the TV show reach its end, Fang Zheng yawned, then clapped his hands and spoke to the three people in the living room. A week had passed since they encountered the mysterious blonde girl. During this week, Sakura had collected three more Clow Cards. Of course, just like before, once Sakura collected the Clow Cards, those shadow creatures would reappear and launch attacks.

However, in front of the prepared group, these shadow creatures couldn’t gain any advantage. Although Fang Zheng wanted to collect some specimens for investigation, unfortunately, these things were merely condensed forms of energy and would disappear once their energy was depleted, so he had to give up.

On the contrary, the blonde girl hadn’t appeared again, seemingly only interested in the Seed of Holy Stone, having no interest in the Clow Cards.

Due to fighting alongside each other, Sakura had gradually become familiar with everyone. She now comes to Fang Zheng’s place almost every evening after dinner to visit and do her homework. Sakura’s family wasn’t too worried about this arrangement, as they were neighbors, and Fang Zheng was still Sakura’s teacher, albeit not her homeroom teacher, but helping with homework was not a problem.

However, Illya and Little Hei were a bit conflicted.

After all, becoming a Heroic Spirit and having to do homework... Is this Hell’s cruel torture?

”Okay.”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s words, Sakura obediently nodded, then stood up and casually put Little Kero into her pocket.

”I’ll be heading back now. Good night, Teacher, Illya, and Sister Little Hei.”

”Sweet dreams.”

After sending Sakura off and watching her return home, Fang Zheng returned to discover Illya had already gone back to her room, while Little Hei appeared to have fallen asleep.

”Little Hei, Little Hei?”

Fang Zheng approached, patting Little Hei’s head. She suddenly snapped out of it and opened her eyes to look at Fang Zheng.

”Huh? Big Brother?”

”It’s time for bed.”

”Alright, I’m heading to bed. Good night, Big Brother... Ah...”

Saying this, Little Hei waved to Fang Zheng and wobbled up the stairs to her room. Meanwhile, Fang Zheng played with the little kitten in the living room for a while, prepared his lesson plan, and then returned to his room to turn off the lights and sleep.

The night grew deeper.

”Creak...”

At an unknown time, the window in Fang Zheng’s bedroom quietly opened. The two cats in their little nest nearby lifted their heads and looked towards the window. Then, a petite figure slipped in like a ghost. She looked at the two cats and gestured for silence, then walked step by step to Fang Zheng’s bedside. After a moment’s pause, she bent down and crawled underneath the covers from the foot of the bed...

”Mmm...”

Fang Zheng was sound asleep, having a wonderfully pleasant dream. In the dream, Tilia, Asuna, Eiriri, Black Cat, and Chiyo were all wearing sheer nightgowns, sitting obediently on the bed, enticing Fang Zheng. Faced with this ”provocative behavior,” Fang Zheng, of course, couldn’t resist. He promptly threw himself at the girls on the bed.

”Ah...”

”Big Brother, it’s me...”

”Little Hei?”

”What are you doing?”

Seeing this, Fang Zheng finally understood why he felt so comfortable earlier. But he couldn’t figure out why Little Hei would suddenly ”ambush” him. Usually, Little Hei would sneak in and sleep beside him after removing her clothes, only to be caught by Illya or someone else in the morning. But back then, Little Hei simply slept; now... it’s obviously not just about ”sleeping”!

”There’s nothing I can do, Big Brother...”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s inquiry, Little Hei responded quietly, hesitating for a moment before turning her blushing face away.

”My magic power is running low...”

”Running low? How can your magic power be running low?”

Fang Zheng had a Command Seal connection with Little Hei, providing all her magic power. How could it run low?

”I don’t know either.”

Little Hei shook her head at this point.

”It was just yesterday that I suddenly felt my magic power weakening. I tried to understand why, and found that although I’m still connected to Big Brother’s magic line, there’s no transmission of magic power!”

”Is there such a thing?”

Hearing Little Hei’s words, Fang Zheng furrowed his brow and placed his hand on Little Hei’s head, indeed feeling that the magic power within her was exceptionally low, almost hitting the warning threshold. This truly shocked Fang Zheng, as he had never imagined such a thing could occur.

But...

”Why is Illya fine?”

”Big Brother, did you forget she has a unique skill?”

”Oh, right, so that’s why...”

Upon Little Hei’s reminder, Fang Zheng recalled that Illya indeed had a class skill called [Infinite Magic Supply]. Apparently, due to that ability, Illya could maintain her existence without relying on Fang Zheng’s magic power, unlike Little Hei who lacked such benefits.

”Why didn’t you tell me sooner?”

”Because I wanted to see the cause... but now... anyway, isn’t that why I’m here?”

”Hold on.”

Saying this, Fang Zheng raised his right hand.

”By the power of the Command Seal... replenish Chloe von Einzbern’s magic power!”

With Fang Zheng’s command, the Command Seal on his hand flashed red, however...

”It’s useless?”

Fang Zheng could sense that the magic power within Little Hei had not increased, yet his Command Seal was clearly consumed?

What could be the reason for this?
