Chapter 1189: Chapter 1188: A Morning Full of Doubts

Fang Zheng couldn’t help but feel amused as these little girls seemed to really treat coming to this world as a happy school trip. After that, under the instructions of Shisei and Little Hei, everyone reluctantly began practicing some POSE, then giggled and messed around for a long time before finally being herded like little sheep back into their tents to sleep by Fang Zheng.

”Phew...”

After tidying up, Fang Zheng crawled into his tent and stretched lazily. The little girls were indeed carefree, but that was because they hadn’t sensed any danger. Although they didn’t notice it, Fang Zheng had guessed that even though this world seemed normal on the surface, it clearly hid deep problems underneath.

Not to mention, just the emotions ”leaking” from this world into Sakura’s world carried deep malice towards Magical Girls. Who knows what else might be lurking here?

But these... can wait until tomorrow morning.

However, just as Fang Zheng was preparing to sleep, suddenly, a faint voice came from outside.

”Tea...teacher... can I come in?”

”Sakura?”

Hearing this voice, Fang Zheng frowned slightly.

”Sure, what’s up?”

With these words, Sakura quietly crawled into Fang Zheng’s tent, giving him an apologetic smile.

”Sorry... Teacher, um... I can’t sleep...”

”Can’t sleep?”

”Yes, Little Hei’s ghost story was too scary... I’m scared...”

As she spoke, Sakura looked at Fang Zheng sheepishly.

”So... can I sleep with you?”

”Of course.”

Fang Zheng didn’t mind, after all, he had set up three tents, and aside from his own tent, which he shared with two kittens, the other tents were for three people each. But what puzzled Fang Zheng was why Sakura didn’t squeeze in with Shisei and instead came to find him...

Fang Zheng didn’t mind anyway; at this moment, a little white cat lay beside his head, and a tiny kitten was curled in his arms, adding Sakura wouldn’t make much difference. So, he made a little space, and Sakura smiled, snuggled up to Fang Zheng’s side, and conveniently took the groggy little white cat, who had no idea what was happening, into her arms.

Poor little white cat struggled for a moment, realizing it was no match for Sakura, it reluctantly mewed a few times, then curled back up again.

By Fang Zheng’s side, Sakura seemed to have found a sense of security, and before long, she was smiling blissfully, drifting off into sleep. Watching the sleeping Sakura, Fang Zheng reached out, patted her little head, then closed his eyes.

However, nobody noticed there was still an unwilling ”victim” between them.

”Meow! Meow!!”

The little white cat squirmed desperately, attempting to free itself from Sakura’s hold, but it was futile. The little white cat, frustrated, extended a paw to swat at something. Yet, upon seeing Fang Zheng, it cowered and reluctantly curled up again.

Even so, the little white cat didn’t give up; it gazed at Sakura, then switched to Fang Zheng, and with a smirking expression, opened its mouth.

”Meow...”

”...”

Upon hearing the little white cat’s cry, the tiny kitten nestled in Fang Zheng’s arms peeked its head out, glanced at the little white cat, then retreated back into a curl.

When Fang Zheng opened his eyes, it was already the next morning.

”Ugh... What the heck was that...”

Fang Zheng shook his groggy head, then sat up. He vaguely remembered he had a dream last night, but as for the content, Fang Zheng couldn’t recall much. He just remembered lying in bed, then Little Hei and Fate crawled in... and then with him... then Sakura discovered them, and soon Illya, Nanoha, and Shisei were involved too... Wait, that was a dream!

At this thought, Fang Zheng was suddenly startled, and quickly looked to the side. Fortunately, beside him, Sakura was fully dressed, showing no signs of being attacked. Judging by her appearance, she was soundly asleep...

Of course, just to be safe, Fang Zheng cautiously checked the whole tent, finally confirming... well, it seems it was indeed just a dream from last night, as all the other girls were perfectly fine sleeping fully dressed in their own tents.

But why would he have such a dream?

Fang Zheng was baffled. After all, it’s not like he hadn’t slept with these little girls before, whether with Nobiru or Natsuse, even holding them while sleeping wouldn’t cause such dreams...

Am I really that desperate?

While Fang Zheng puzzled over it, he didn’t notice that, at this moment, the little white cat, full of spirit, sauntered out of the tent after stretching luxuriously and letting out a ”meow”.

Hearing the cat’s meow, Fang Zheng turned to glance at it. For some reason, he felt the little white cat seemed unusually smug. This won’t do, beating gives you character, polishing gives you perfection; just because you’re a cat doesn’t mean you can show off to anyone and everyone.

So...

”Let’s go, little guy, we’re going for a walk nearby!”

Without another word, Fang Zheng grabbed the little white cat by the scruff of its neck and took it out for a stroll.

”Phew...”

Soon after Fang Zheng went out for a walk, the other girls also woke up one by one. Had Fang Zheng been there, he would have noticed the peculiar expressions on the girls’ faces upon waking. Notably, Little Hei seemed exceedingly cheerful and Illya blushed redder than ever, nearly hiding under her covers. Shisei appeared confused as if not quite awake, while Fate hung her head in silence, her thoughts unknown.

As for Nanoha and Sakura, they both wore puzzled expressions.

When Fang Zheng returned with the little white cat after a stroll, what greeted him was this bizarre atmosphere and scene.

”What’s up with you all? Get ready and have breakfast.”

After taking a walk with the little white cat and enjoying the sea breeze, Fang Zheng calmed down. Regardless, it was just a dream, and strangely, Fang Zheng couldn’t recall much about it, which happens to many people; he could barely piece together vague details, the specifics nearly forgotten...

”Ah, alright.”

”We’ll get ready now, teacher!”

However, what puzzled Fang Zheng was that upon hearing his words, the girls seemed like they had been electrocuted, hurriedly got up, and clumsily began changing clothes.

What was up with them?
