Chapter 1152: Chapter 1151: Nanoha and the Blonde Girl’s Fateful Encounter

Nanoha reacted quickly, arriving swiftly at the site of the Seed of Holy Stone’s magic explosion after Shisei’s alert. Luckily, the fusion seemed to be with an ordinary vine, which merely expanded madly without any other unusual action.

If it were the previous Nanoha, she might have hesitated about what to do. But her combat training over the days hadn’t been for nothing; upon learning about the target situation from Shisei, Nanoha immediately executed a flawless Divine Fury from a distance, directly penetrating the entire plant and swiftly locking onto the Seed of Holy Stone flying from the breach.

The whole process was seamless, looking incredibly stylish.

However, what everyone was concerned about wasn’t this; rather, including Fang Zheng, everyone stared at the screen, searching for the appearance of the shadow creatures that had previously launched an ambush on them.

If things went as expected, then after Nanoha retrieves the Seed of Holy Stone, those creatures might appear again...

But at this moment, an unexpected scene unfolded.

”Nanoha, someone is quickly approaching your direction, very fast!”

Despite being busy shooting the video, Shisei did not forget to observe her surroundings, almost immediately capturing a signal on the screen as the magic reaction erupted.

”The other side is heading toward the Seed of Holy Stone, hurry and recover it!”

”What?”

Nanoha was taken aback by Shisei’s warning, hurriedly accelerating towards the sealed Seed of Holy Stone ahead.

At that critical moment, just as Nanoha reached the front of the Seed of Holy Stone and extended her magic wand to recover it, a figure suddenly darted out of the forest not far from Nanoha’s feet, followed by a golden flash cutting down toward her from the sky.

At this moment, the ”devil training” with Little Hei over the past days quickly showed its effect; facing the sudden ambush, Nanoha instinctively withdrew hurriedly, simultaneously raising Heart of the Rising Sun. In the blink of an eye, a pink magic circle appeared beside Nanoha, with three magic beams intersecting and emerging from it, blocking the attacker’s route.

The raider evidently didn’t expect Nanoha to detect their sneak attack and react so swiftly, helplessly choosing to retreat. Nanoha only saw a golden magic circle emerge suddenly ahead, then her unleashed magic beams strike the other’s shield and explode away.

”Boom!!”

Amidst the loud explosion, smoke dispersed, revealing the attacker’s figure.

It was a girl with twin golden ponytails, seemingly around Nanoha’s age, wearing a black magitech armor and cloak, wielding a magitech device resembling a scythe.

At this moment, the golden-haired girl watched Nanoha expressionlessly, like a lifeless doll.

”This is also a magical girl.”

Seeing this, Little Sakura couldn’t help but exclaim. However, she wasn’t very surprised this time; after all, there were already four magical girls here, so it didn’t seem odd to have another?

”From the magic circle just now, she and Nanoha use the same civilization’s magic technology.”

Fang Zheng certainly knew who this golden-haired girl was, but wisely refrained from explaining at this moment. Instead, he played the role of an outside commentator.

”It looks like...she’s also targeting the Seed of Holy Stone.”

This thought surely occurred to Nanoha as well.

”Who are you? Why are you doing this?”

Gripping Heart of the Rising Sun tightly, Nanoha watched the opponent with caution. Although the girl in front was very beautiful, Nanoha dared not be careless. Facing Nanoha’s inquiry, the golden twin-tailed girl silently raised her magitech device.

”Even if I tell you...it doesn’t make any difference.”

Then, she looked at Nanoha, speaking softly.

”---!”

Upon hearing this, Nanoha’s expression suddenly changed. Just as she clenched her teeth, intending to say more, the twin-tailed girl suddenly swung her magitech device, attacking Nanoha once again.

”Shoot!!”

Nanoha quickly reacted, retreating rapidly trying to distance herself from the golden-haired girl, simultaneously continuing to release magitech cannon fire from her hands. Nanoha’s aim wasn’t to hit the sudden adversary, but to force the opponent away from the Seed of Holy Stone, yet...

”Little Nanoha is too gentle.”

Watching the battle scene, Little Hei pouted in dissatisfaction.

”This is the time to charge in and fight! Why bother keeping distance, when clearly the opponent’s advantage is speed? Does she think she can evade with speed indeed?”

Sure enough, as Little Hei guessed, while Nanoha tried to distance herself from the golden-haired girl, the latter immediately charged in. She swiftly dodged Nanoha’s cannon fire while rapidly closing in on Nanoha.

But right now, Nanoha seemed to panic, firing attacks aimlessly without any accuracy. Initially, the golden-haired girl needed to dodge, but later she simply activated a magic shield, directly rushing without dodging.

But now, Nanoha seemed more like a master of cinematography, the whole process resembling a film shoot: pink magic bullets transformed into a barrage of gunfire while the golden-haired girl sprinted straight up, without touching even the edge.

Seeing this, Little Hei couldn’t help but scoff.

”What’s up with little Nanoha? Does she lose her combat skills seeing pretty girls?”

”I don’t think this has anything to do with being pretty or not.”

Hearing this, Illya couldn’t help but retort, yet as she spoke, she turned back once more, looking towards the blonde girl on the screen.

”Although she is indeed quite pretty...”

Unlike Illya and Little Hei, who were debating whether the blonde girl was pretty, Little Sakura was clearly more worried about Nanoha. She grasped the Key of Seals, anxiously looking at Fang Zheng.

”Teacher... should we go help?”

”Not yet.”

Facing Little Sakura’s inquiry, Fang Zheng smiled at her gently.

”It’s not time for you to step in yet. You have to trust Nanoha; she can definitely handle it. After all, Nanoha hasn’t asked us for help, and her situation isn’t that bad right now...”

As he spoke, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but sigh.

Oh man, women really are born actors, even Nanoha is no exception.

If he didn’t know beforehand what Nanoha planned to do, he might have been deceived as well.

At the same time, the blonde girl had already charged towards Nanoha, raising her scythe once more and slashing at Nanoha with all her might. However, Nanoha raised the Heart of the Rising Sun in her hands, blocking the powerful strike.

”Ah---!”

With a sharp scream, Nanoha was sent flying backward in mid-air, plummeting towards the ground. The blonde girl then charged towards Nanoha again, seeming to intend to finish off this opponent.

At this moment, Nanoha once again raised the Heart of the Rising Sun, aiming at the blonde girl.

”Divine Fury!”

A pink beam of magic power burst out, howling towards the blonde girl. However, the blonde girl’s response was faster; everyone only saw a blur, and in the next moment, the blonde girl who had been on Nanoha’s cannon fire trajectory seemed to teleport, abruptly dodging Nanoha’s surprise attack. Subsequently, the blonde girl raised her magitech device, swinging at Nanoha with force!

”Whoosh---!”

As the blonde girl swung the magitech device, a spinning golden light blade suddenly flew out, tracing an arc towards Nanoha.

Not good!

Seeing this, Nanoha was also shocked. She hurriedly stopped the cannon fire and barely managed to raise her right hand to cast a magic shield. However, even so, the light blade released by the blonde girl still struck Nanoha’s body, and with a low cry, Nanoha spun and rolled across the grass, tumbling several times before coming to a stop.

Meanwhile, the blonde girl landed quietly on a tree branch not far away, continuing to silently watch Nanoha. Nanoha quickly stood up, once again raising her magic wand and aiming at the blonde girl.

A moment later, the blonde girl finally spoke calmly.

”What do you want?”

”I want to know what you’re doing? What’s your goal?”

Facing the blonde girl in front of her, Nanoha stared at her without hesitation, then asked. After a moment of silence, the blonde girl finally answered.

”I must collect the fragments of the ancient relic — Seed of Holy Stone. If your goal is the same as mine, then we are enemies.”

”Can’t we resolve this with a conversation? To avoid this, can’t we just talk to each other?”

Hearing the blonde girl’s response, Nanoha couldn’t help asking again, but the blonde girl silently shook her head.

”Mere conversation can’t change anything.”

Then, she suddenly raised her magitech device.

”We will never understand each other!”

”But...!”

Upon hearing this, Nanoha instinctively wanted to say something more. However, at this moment, suddenly, a deep, familiar, beast-like roar sounded once again.

”Roar---!”

What is that sound?

Hearing this sound, the blonde girl was suddenly surprised and looked to both sides, while Nanoha’s expression became serious. At the same moment, in the depths of the forest, in those pitch-black shadows, one by one, crimson light points emerged once again!

”They’re here!”

Seeing this scene, Fang Zheng’s expression turned solemn.

”Let’s go!”
