Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1160: Chapter 1159: I Really Can’t Learn This!

After confirming the bet, the battle between the two sides begins.

The dog, along with Yuno, retreated to a distance, not joining the battle, only watching the two shuttling back and forth, chasing each other among the buildings.

”It seems that Nanoha is quite smart.”

Watching the battle on the screen, Fang Zheng casually commented. After all, from the surface, Nanoha’s proposal had no downside for Fate. If Fate won, she could acquire several Seeds of Holy Stone. Even if Fate lost, at most, she would waste time talking to Nanoha, and Nanoha didn’t require her to surrender the Seeds of Holy Stone. For Fate, such a wager was evidently all profit with no risk. Whether she won or lost, she didn’t worry about losing the Seeds of Holy Stone she had collected.

”Is it really okay?”

However, at this moment, Little Sakura was evidently a bit worried.

”What if Nanoha loses...?”

”No problem.”

Fang Zheng waved his hand, clearly not caring.

”Those Seeds of Holy Stone originally belong to Nanoha, she can handle them however she wants.”

”Eh?”

Hearing this, the girls were all stunned. Then, Shisei asked doubtfully.

”But teacher, aren’t those Lord Yuno’s...?”

”That snow mongoose merely dug up those Seeds of Holy Stone, that’s all their relation is.”

Saying this, Fang Zheng curled his lips.

”You’ve all watched those tomb-raider movies, right? Let me ask you, in the movies, if an American archaeologist excavates an ancient artifact from a tomb in the tropical rainforest, who does the artifact belong to, the American archaeologist or the local people?”

”Uhh...”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s question, the girls frowned and pondered, then Shisei was the first to answer.

”It should be the local people?”

”What if the local civilization has vanished?”

”This...”

Shisei and Little Sakura exchanged glances, not knowing how to answer, while Little Hei curled his lips.

”Then it’s whoever gets it owns it.”

”Exactly, for ownerless things, whoever is capable can take it.”

Fang Zheng snapped his fingers, looking at the screen again.

”Yuno dug up those Seeds of Holy Stone, so what? They weren’t dug out from his family’s ancestral grave, and after being dug up, Yuno didn’t properly safeguard them, letting them fall to Earth. He also couldn’t collect them again, so he turned to Nanoha... this situation is completely different from yours, Little Sakura.”

Saying this, Fang Zheng seemed to have guessed something and looked at Little Sakura.

”Although you lost the Clow Cards like Yuno did, the Clow Cards were originally kept at your home, and the Guardian Beast and Key of Seals of the Clow Cards have already acknowledged you as the rightful owner, so collecting the Clow Cards is justified, and the Clow Cards are not ownerless objects like the Seeds of Holy Stone, don’t be misled.”

”Ah... yes.”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s words, Little Sakura froze for a moment, then hurriedly nodded.

”I understand, teacher!”

At this moment, on the screen, the battle between Nanoha and Fate had entered a fever pitch.

”Whoosh---!!”

Fate dashed like golden lightning between the buildings, with Nanoha closely pursuing from behind. Then, she raised the Heart of the Rising Sun in her hand and swung it forward.

”Shoot!”

With Nanoha’s shout, several pink magic bullets shot out instantly, whistling towards the front where Fate was. Fate swiftly changed direction at a ninety-degree angle, flying straight up into the sky, evading the pursuing magic bullets. Then, with a backflip, she flew over Nanoha’s head, turning to chase her.

Not good!

Realizing she had lost her attack position, Nanoha quickly turned and raised the Heart of the Rising Sun in her hand. At the same time, Fate was already charging toward her target, swinging the Thunder Axe.

But surprisingly, this time Nanoha did not choose to distance herself like before. Instead, Fate saw Nanoha raising the Heart of the Rising Sun, aiming it at her.

Then...

[Charge Mode]

”Boom---!!”

Accompanied by the emergence of a magic array behind Nanoha, Fate saw the girl charging at her like an arrow released from a bowstring. This shocked Fate greatly. She had battled Nanoha before and knew that this girl wasn’t skilled in close combat, so Fate hadn’t expected her to initiate close combat!

The outcome of the battle was decided in an instant. Due to previous misjudgment, Fate had no way to stop. She could only grip the Thunder Axe tightly. Quickly, a golden circular magic array appeared in front of Fate, forming a shield.

In the next moment, Nanoha, holding her Heart of the Rising Sun, rammed into Fate’s magic shield like a warrior wielding a spear.

”Ugh...!”

Fate had no other choice at this moment; she could only maintain her shield, waiting for Nanoha’s attack to end.

However, at this moment, Fate saw Nanoha suddenly grabbing the handle beside the Heart of the Rising Sun. At the same time, a pink glowing orb appeared at the top of the Heart of the Rising Sun!

Not good! This is... a point-blank barrage!

”Divine Fury!!”

With Nanoha’s cry, the magitech beam in front of the Heart of the Rising Sun suddenly exploded, directly hitting Fate’s shield.

”Crack... crack...”

Although, in terms of magic power use, Fate was much more skilled than Nanoha, the hastily summoned magic shield couldn’t completely withstand the ”Charge” plus ”point-blank barrage” combo. Soon, cracks appeared on the magic shield in front of Fate, while she gripped the Thunder Axe tightly. Then, with a flash,

”Lightning Leap!”

”Bang!!”

No sooner said than done, almost at the same moment Fate’s shield was shattered by the Divine Fury, the blonde girl disappeared in a flash, as if by teleportation, causing Nanoha’s barrage to hit nothing, roaring past the street, and vanishing into the distant sky.

”Ha... ha...”

Reappearing in the sky not far from Nanoha, Fate looked a bit disheveled. In truth, she had never expected her opponent to choose a close-range point-blank barrage... but...

Thinking of this, Fate gripped the Thunder Axe.

I’m not defeated yet!

”Heart of the Rising Sun!”

At this moment, Nanoha once again raised the Heart of the Rising Sun, aiming at Fate. Quickly, the same magic array appeared behind Nanoha, frowning Fate.

Trying this again? It’s useless!

”Arc Blade!!”

Seeing Nanoha was about to perform the charge+barrage combo again, Fate suddenly swung the Thunder Axe, releasing a spinning light blade towards Nanoha. At the same time, she quickly turned around, attempting to distance herself from Nanoha.

However, when turning around, Fate didn’t see that Nanoha behind her didn’t charge as before. Instead, as Fate turned, Nanoha quickly canceled the charge array, leaped high into the sky, then raised the Heart of the Rising Sun high.

At the same time, she began to emit a dazzling pink radiance.

”What is this!?”

Sensing the profound magic power aura from behind, Fate quickly turned to look. She widened her eyes in shock.

In the distant sky, a star shining with pink radiance hung there.

At the same time, a giant array slowly unfolded.

”Could this be... a large-scale barrage? Not good!”

At this moment, Fate finally understood what Nanoha intended to do. She didn’t mean to repeat the previous trick, she wanted Fate to initiate distance so she could release a large-scale barrage!

Now rushing over to stop it is out of the question, she needs to distance herself immediately---!

Thinking of this, Fate quickly turned, trying to escape the barrage range.

However, at this moment, a large light orb had already formed in front of Nanoha’s array, and she firmly held the Heart of the Rising Sun, swinging it forward.

”Starlight... breaker!!”

Immediately following Nanoha’s exclamation, a Magitech Beam instantly erupted, directly enveloping the shield where Fate was.

”Hiss.......”

Now in the sky behind her, a somewhat disheveled Fate could only feel astonished and stared with wide eyes.

”Teacher... I really can’t learn that...”
