Chapter 1191: Chapter 1190: This Is Not a Magical Girl at All!!

”Heart of the Rising Sun!”

In response to the sneak attack by the red-haired ponytailed girl, Nanoha was naturally prepared. At the moment of her attack, a pink magic barrier suddenly unfolded, blocking this attack. Then Nanoha leapt up, quickly flying into the air.

”Trying to run? It’s not that easy!”

Seeing that Nanoha seemed to intend to escape, the red-haired ponytailed girl obviously wouldn’t give her that chance. She reached out to grasp the handle of the long spear, then suddenly made a pole-vaulting motion and flew up. At the same time, the long spear in her hand seemed to break into segments like nunchaku, and with her motion, it suddenly transformed into a long whip, reaching out to entangle Nanoha.

”Heart of the Rising Sun!”

Being experienced in battle, Nanoha naturally was not flustered by this level of combat. She gripped the Heart of the Rising Sun in her hand and pointed toward the enemy below. The next moment, several rotating magic circles appeared around her, followed by the whistling release of magic bullets shooting out, heading toward the red-haired ponytailed girl.

”What is this?!”

Seeing the scene before her, the red-haired girl was stunned. God knows, although she was a Magical Girl, they typically only used weapon manipulation and control for combat. As for magic circles and real magic like this... they had never seen it!

However, the red-haired girl’s reaction was not slow. She hastily retracted the long spear with a backhand, then hit the railing on the other side. Following that, the red-haired girl’s long spear retracted, forcefully taking her to evade the wave of magic bullet bombardment. The whistling magic bullets brushed past her and hit the ground not far off.

”Boom boom boom!!”

Explosions resounded instantly, and the ground shook so violently that even the red-haired girl found it hard to maintain her balance. She wobbled back and forth a few times before steadying herself. Then, she turned her head to look down, gasped, and inhaled sharply.

Behind her, the ground not far away had large pits with diameters of several meters, emitting pitch-black smoke — it felt almost indistinguishable from a missile strike. It’s imaginable that getting hit by this could mean either death or severe injury!

It would be unthinkable to the red-haired girl that this little girl, who seemed only ten years old, would strike with such ferocity. If she hadn’t dodged earlier, she might have been blown to pieces!

”My name is Nanoha Takamachi.”

Yet, before the red-haired girl could regain her senses, Nanoha was already floating not far from her, continuing to observe the red-haired girl before her.

”Big sister, could you tell me your name?”

”If you want to know my name, you’ll have to earn it!”

At this point, the red-haired girl’s competitive spirit was ignited. Initially, she just wanted to teach this seemingly naive little girl a lesson, but she never expected the opponent to strike so hard, which also sparked her pride. How could she, a veteran Magical Girl, be outmatched by a rookie? Where’s her dignity?!

”Come on! Let me see what you’ve got!”

Having thought this, the red-haired girl rolled and landed steadily on the ground. In the next moment, Nanoha saw the ground beneath the red-haired girl’s feet suddenly split open, and then a gigantic, segmented long spear emerged like a giant snake. The red-haired girl stood atop the ”snakehead,” aiming at Nanoha. Simultaneously, hundreds and thousands of similar long spears appeared from all directions, encircling Nanoha.

The red-haired girl didn’t back down but fought instead. Though she couldn’t fly, manoeuvring the long spear array also effectively restricted Nanoha’s movement. Combined with the massive and lengthy ”giant snake” body under her, the two battled back and forth for a while.

However, the more they fought, the more the red-haired girl felt something was off.

The opponent could fly freely in the air, fire things resembling magic bullets, and possessed strange, magic circle-like arrays that appeared to be formed by magic.

While all these were hallmarks of a Magical Girl, they were only found in TV animations; in this world, real Magical Girls never exhibited such traits!

”I say... who on earth are you?”

After another failed attack on Nanoha, the red-haired girl finally spoke, gripping her long spear and warily watching Nanoha.

”You’re definitely not a Magical Girl, never seen a Magical Girl like you before.”

”I am a Magical Girl, but perhaps different from you, big sister.”

Nanoha also timely stopped.

”Can’t we talk? In fact, there are many things we’re not very clear about...”

”Talk?”

Hearing Nanoha, the red-haired girl smiled slightly, then suddenly swung her long spear. With her motion, in the next moment, Nanoha saw the densely packed long spears instantly shielding the red-haired girl, forming a hedgehog-like protective barrier.

”Sure, as long as you can defeat me, I’ll talk to you, but let’s see if you have that skill!”

Upon saying this, the red-haired girl suddenly tightened her grip on the long spear and swung it forward. In the next moment, the torrent formed by countless densely packed long spears exploded, thundering toward Nanoha. Before she could react, her relatively small body was completely submerged by the myriad of metal long spears.

”Uh wow... was that a bit too much?”

Seeing the scene unfold before her, the red-haired girl reached up to scratch her cheek, smiling bitterly.

However, at that very moment, she unexpectedly saw a strand of pink radiance suddenly appear among the grave formed by the myriad of long spears.

Oh no!!

Almost simultaneously, the red-haired girl swiftly retreated. She raised the long spear to shield her front, while the other long spears encircling her closed up like feathered wings forming layers upon layers,

”Boom!!”

But before the red-haired girl’s defense was fully ready, Nanoha, holding the Heart of the Rising Sun, shot out from the torrent of long spears like an arrow off the string. The tip of the Heart of the Rising Sun in her grasp formed a triangular point with magic power, resembling a long spear. Nanoha charged at the red-haired girl like this!

”Bang! Bang! Bang!!”

The sturdy spear defense was almost meaningless in the face of Nanoha and the Heart of the Rising Sun. Soon, layers of defense were forcibly torn apart and shattered. Finally, at the last moment, Nanoha and the Heart of the Rising Sun’s onslaught encountered resistance!

”Clang!!”

When the magic tip at the end of the Heart of the Rising Sun pierced through the wings and was about to strike the red-haired girl, the red-haired girl roared in fury, lifting her long spear to stab forward. The two standoffs like this, tip to tip.

”Phew...”

Seeing this, the red-haired girl finally breathed a sigh of relief, then looked at Nanoha triumphantly.

”Alright, it’s over, little...”

However, before she finished speaking, she was terrified to see numerous continuously rotating light circles abruptly emerging at the tip of the opponent’s magic wand. Simultaneously, countless starlight-like beams of light began gathering at the wand’s tip. Meanwhile, the red-haired girl also saw a trigger-like device suddenly pop out from the side of Nanoha’s magic wand.

Wait, is that...

”Celestial Deity... Flame Burst!!”

Yet, before the red-haired girl could say anything further, Nanoha had already shouted and pulled the trigger.

The pink magic torrent surged forth like a broken dam, instantly enveloping the red-haired girl.

At that moment, feeling the ferocious and terrifying power torrent, emotions like anger, frustration, and fear surged in the red-haired girl’s heart. Finally, her innermost thoughts converged into one sentence.

”This is not a Magical Girl at all!!!”
