Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1179: Chapter 1178: I’m Just Informing You

The people of Mid will never forget that day.

When they saw the giant warship, like a mountain, descending from the sky and hovering over their heads, when they heard Fang Zheng’s warning with their own ears, they finally bowed their noble heads.

After the war with Belka, the Mid people had gloried for so long that they even considered themselves the sole rulers of this universe. Out of ”justice” and for the purpose of ”peace,” they believed they had the right to ”manage” everything. But the huge shadow suspended in the sky slapped the Mid people awake from their dream of being ”Dimensional Police,” using the most cruel and cold-hearted way to tell them that they were nothing but ”urban management officers.”

And temporary workers at that, without any contracts or establishment.

And for the upper echelons of Mid, the scene before them was even more embarrassing.

”The multiverse has its own order, each civilization, each race is like so. The Heavenly Dao Palace has always maintained a fair and friendly attitude towards any multiverse civilization force, and protects its own interests in a reasonable and legal manner.”

Fang Zheng stood in the center of the Mid Council hall, holding an open scroll, reciting under his breath while looking at these Mid Council members who were drenched in sweat.

”Mid Zhilanda’s army, after being warned multiple times, still attempted to forcefully enter the territory of the Heavenly Dao Palace without permission. Their actions have already constituted invasion and inciting war. To warn against Mid Zhilanda’s foolish behavior, the Heavenly Dao Palace fleet has annihilated them.”

Fang Zheng put down the scroll in his hand, and with a smile, looked at the members before him.

”Next is the final judgment of the Heavenly Dao Palace on Mid Zhilanda’s invasion—although there are reasons for Mid Zhilanda’s actions, they still forcefully invaded our territory despite repeated warnings and dissuasion. The facts are clear, the evidence is solid. Considering that the Dimensional Fleet has already paid a sufficient price, and our side has not suffered too much damage, the final ruling is...”

At this point, Fang Zheng paused, once again looking at the crowd before him.

”We will seal Mid Zhilanda’s military technology for the past fifty years, as well as all Ancient Relics stored by the Space-Time Bureau. Let it be known once again, the sovereignty of the Earthling civilization sphere is sacred and inviolable. If there is another offense, we will regard it as Mid Zhilanda’s formal declaration of war against the Heavenly Dao Palace and will respond accordingly.”

After finishing, Fang Zheng then put away the scroll, giving a slight smile at the members before him.

”Well, that’s it. Farewell.”

”Wait, wait!”

As Fang Zheng turned to leave, the Speaker of Parliament, trembling, stood up, staring at him intently.

”You, you have no right to do this...”

”I’m not negotiating with you, Mid people.”

However, in the face of the Speaker’s protest, Fang Zheng did not take it to heart at all.

”I am merely informing you, this is the final decision of the Heavenly Dao Palace, whether you accept it or not, I do not care.”

”Mid Zhilanda will not succumb to your threats! We will never hand over our technology either!”

”I told you...”

Looking at the elder before him, Fang Zheng’s expression did not change at all.

”This is not a negotiation, nor a command, but an announcement...well then, I bid you farewell.”

After saying these words, a flash of white light appeared before Fang Zheng, and just like that, he vanished entirely in full view of everyone. Shortly after, those pitch-black gigantic shadows began to rise, and after a while, the council hall, once shrouded in dark shadows, was once again bathed in dazzling sunlight.

”Report! Report! The fleet has left Mid!”

”Phew......”

Upon hearing this, the Speaker finally wiped a cold sweat, then sat back down.

”Speaker, what should we do?”

”We absolutely cannot hand over our technology...at least not the most confidential parts.”

Facing other members’ inquiries, the Speaker also looked serious. Handing over their military technology materials to another civilization was simply preposterous. He couldn’t understand why the Heavenly Dao Palace would propose such conditions. Did they really think he would obediently hand over the foundation of Mid Zhilanda’s existence?

”Something’s wrong, Speaker, something’s terribly wrong!”

However, at this moment, a member suddenly rushed into the hall in a panic.

”Something terrible has happened!”

”What is it?”

Seeing the pale face of the member before him, the Speaker’s heart instantly rose in his chest.

”Our research institute...all the military technology materials in the institute have disappeared!”

”What?!”

Upon hearing this, the Speaker was shocked.

”All disappeared?!”

”Yes, at first we thought the server had a problem, but after testing, we found that all data in all military research institutes of Mid Zhilanda had disappeared!”

”What about the researchers?”

”The researchers are still there, but...”

”But what?”

”But they can’t recall their research...”

”What?! How is this possible?!”

Upon hearing this, the Speaker felt a wave of dizziness. He finally realized why the Heavenly Dao Palace was so confident, but...how did they do it?

”By the way...what about the records? The military’s technical data?”

”Gone too! All data...turned into blank sheets of paper! Including the latest battleship construction plans and magitech soldier enhancement plans...all the data is gone!”

Seeing the twisted face of the member before him, the Speaker only felt darkness before his eyes. In the next moment, he collapsed to the ground, completely fainted.

”That’s why I said, choose peace, not war.”

Closing the Ratziel, Fang Zheng revealed a smile. Indeed, sealing fifty years of military technology data was something that would most likely be seen as a joke in any other world. But with the Ratziel in his hand, Fang Zheng could make the impossible possible.

Although it consumed considerable energy, Fang Zheng believed that after this incident, Mid Zhilanda would not dare have any designs on the Heavenly Dao Palace or Earth again.

As for whether this would throw Mid Zhilanda into chaos, Fang Zheng was not worried. He only sealed their military technology, not their military equipment. Besides, the Ratziel sealed not only the official technology of Mid Zhilanda but also the results of criminal forces and mad scientists.

In essence, the entire Mid Zhilanda, from official to civil, from military to criminal, all of their knowledge and technology were reset to fifty years ago—everyone is on the same level, and there can be no bullying.

As for Mid Zhilanda’s military research equipment, Fang Zheng unceremoniously accepted them.

Oh, right, I can take them back and ask Precia if she can use any of them...

After all, I can’t take them for free.
