Chapter 1182: Chapter 1181: Chocolate Filled with Affection

Time goes back to a day earlier.

When Fate walked into the kitchen, she saw Elysia busying around there.

”Hmm, first add some tomato sauce, then a bit of salad...this feels prettier. Oh, and salt...”

”Elysia, what are you doing?”

Looking at Elysia, Fate couldn’t help but curiously ask—since moving to Earth, Fate has been living with Elysia and the others. To be honest, at the beginning, both sides felt somewhat awkward about the situation. Leaving aside Precia, Fate didn’t know how to address Elysia.

Although age-wise, Elysia should clearly be her elder sister, but Elysia had been asleep for so many years, which made Fate feel a bit embarrassed to speak out.

Fortunately, Elysia didn’t mind, so both sides eventually agreed to call by names.

”Ah, it’s Fate.”

Hearing Fate’s voice, Elysia turned her head to glance at her, then cheerfully turned off the stove and jumped off the stool.

”I’m making chocolate.”

”Chocolate?”

Upon hearing Elysia’s answer, Fate curiously looked around, and indeed found a bunch of dark, oddly scented items, but...

”Why make it? You can just buy it in stores.”

”No, no, no, this is different, Fate.”

Facing Fate’s puzzled inquiry, Elysia proudly puffed out her chest and wagged her finger.

”You know? Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, Valentine’s Day?”

”Valentine’s Day? What’s that?”

”It’s the day to give chocolate to the ones you love to express your feelings, so I’m busy making chocolate. There’s yours, mom’s, hmm...and others...though they’re a bit different.”

”A bit different?”

”Yes, I heard Valentine’s Day chocolates are categorized into ordinary and important ones. Ordinary ones mainly express friendship, while important ones express love...Fate, aren’t you planning to make some?”

”Eh? This...let me think about it...”

Upon hearing this, Fate once more glanced at the stove covered with various seasonings, hurriedly waved her hands, and swiftly left the kitchen. Meanwhile, Elysia turned around and continued to gaze at the pot in front of her.

”Alright, time to keep working! Next is...mochi! Put the sweet, soft mochi in, mom loves it! Chocolate with mochi will definitely taste better!”

After leaving the kitchen, Fate returned to her room, but couldn’t calm down at all.

Chocolate...Valentine’s Day, meant to be given to the one you love the most?

Fate naturally also wants to use this opportunity to express her gratitude. She’s already thought about whom to give chocolate to: definitely Arf, Elysia, and mom, as well as Nanoha. Also, Little Sakura, Shisei, Illya, and Little Hei. And...Mr. Fang Zheng...

Thinking of this, Fate couldn’t help but bite her lip. If she had to say who she was most thankful for, it would naturally be Fang Zheng. Fate is well aware that if it weren’t for Fang Zheng helping her mom revive Elysia, their family definitely wouldn’t be living peacefully and happily like they are now.

So, in Fate’s eyes, preparing a special gift for Fang Zheng on Valentine’s Day to express her feelings seems like a great choice. But as for how to do it, Fate is completely clueless. She hardly has much common knowledge in terms of life; for Fate, she’s still trying to adapt to what ”normal” life is. Thus, Fate doesn’t know what suitable gift to give Fang Zheng.

However... perhaps Illya and Little Hei would know.

Not sure if it’s good luck or not, when Fate arrived at the Fang Family, Fang Zheng and Illya had gone out to buy groceries, leaving only Little Hei idly watching TV to pass time. And Fate’s arrival naturally stirred the initially ”lazy” Little Hei back into action.

”A Valentine’s gift for Big Brother?”

After hearing Fate’s query, Little Hei showed a mischievous smile.

”Yeah, tomorrow is Valentine’s Day...hahaha, by the way, Illya seems to have forgotten about it too, that’s quite interesting. It’s true that sometimes being quick has its benefits. I really want to see Illya’s reaction then...hm, ahem, so, about Big Brother’s Valentine’s gift, hmm...”

As Little Hei self-talked, she thought for a moment with her arms crossed, then looked back at Fate again.

”Alright, I know you’re very grateful to Big Brother, but how far are you willing to go for him?”

”How far is that supposed to mean?”

”I mean for thanking Big Brother, are you willing to do anything? Including some very shameful things?”

”Very...shameful things?”

”Exactly! Are you willing?”

”.........”

Upon hearing this, Fate pondered for a moment and then nodded strongly.

”I’m willing. Mr. Fang Zheng has done so much for me, Elysia, and Mom...I also want to do my best to thank Mr. Fang Zheng...regardless of how shameful it is, as long as it can make Mr. Fang Zheng happy, I’m willing to do it!”

”Great.”

Little Hei slammed the table.

”I admire your spirit, so bring your ear closer, let me tell you...”

Upon hearing Little Hei speaking, Fate obediently leaned over, and Little Hei whispered softly in Fate’s ear.

”First, you do this... then... next...”

As Little Hei spoke, Fate’s face grew redder and redder, and by the time Little Hei finished, Fate was nearly about to burrow into the ground.

”Will, will, will... Mr. Fang Zheng really like it?”

”Trust me, even if Big Brother says he doesn’t, deep down, he’ll be thrilled! Of course, if he doesn’t want to, you can go with Plan B!”

”...Okay, I got it!”

Hearing Little Hei’s words, Fate nodded vigorously, clenched her fists, and secretly made up her mind.

This time, I must succeed!

Let’s go back to the present.

”...Fate, this is...”

”This is my Valentine’s gift for you, teacher, please accept it...”

At this moment, Fate’s face was so red it seemed like it was about to bleed, and Fang Zheng was equally stunned.

”Wait a minute, what kind of Valentine’s gift is this? Normally, a Valentine’s gift should be chocolate, right?”

”Yes... so...”

As she spoke, Fate slowly put her hands down.

”Please, teacher... taste my chocolate...”

”Pfft—!”

When Fang Zheng saw the scene in front of him clearly, he almost spat out a mouthful of old blood.

On Fate’s body, small and delicate like a sheep and pristine white, a few smears of chocolate stood out like decorations on a mountain peak...

This is really...

Looking at the scene before him, Fang Zheng was completely at a loss for words.

There’s even this kind of move?!

Wait a minute...

”This was taught by Little Hei, right.”

Even without using ”Ratziel,” Fang Zheng could guess with his mind who taught Fate this trick. After all, the only one daring enough to do this around him was that little rascal!

”Hmm...”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s question, Fate nodded.

”Don’t listen to that little rascal’s nonsense. This... Ahem, you’re too young for this kind of thing.”

Honestly, if it were Asuna, Black Cat, or Eiriri doing this in front of Fang Zheng, he’d have pounced already. But Fate is still a child; how could he do anything inappropriate?

”I know, although it was Sister Little Hei’s suggestion, I... I’m willing.”

However, despite Fang Zheng’s discouragement, Fate seemed completely uninterested. Instead, she stood up and quietly gazed at Fang Zheng.

”I know... Teacher, but I want to do this... Please accept my feelings... I’m sorry, I don’t know what to do, but this is the only way I could think of...”

As she said this, a few tears appeared in Fate’s eyes.

”Or is it... Teacher... do you hate me... and don’t want to eat my chocolate...?”

”...It’s not that I hate you...”

Looking at the Fate about to cry, Fang Zheng was lost for words, and finally, he could only resignly nod.

”Okay, I’ll eat it... I’ll eat it, is that fine... But after I eat the chocolate, you need to put your clothes back on!”

”Okay!”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s response, Fate immediately burst into a smile, while Fang Zheng sighed helplessly, then turned to lock the clubroom door—even though he was sure nobody would come, just to prevent some inevitable common plot twists, better safe than sorry.

After locking the door, Fang Zheng came to Fate’s side. At this moment, Fate had her eyes tightly shut, a blush on her white cheeks. Looking at the chocolate adorning the girl’s body, Fang Zheng gritted his teeth and lowered his head.

”———!!”

The chocolate sauce on the skin had become hard due to the passage of time, leaving Fang Zheng no choice but to stick out his tongue, slowly licking up the broken chocolate. He could sense the faint aroma from the girl’s body mixing with the chocolate scent.

The sweet taste on his tongue and the soft texture made it hard to tell if he was savoring the chocolate or the thing beneath it...

”Mm... uh...”

Feeling the strange sensation on her body, Fate’s complexion was scarlet. Though she clenched her jaw, she couldn’t help but let out a series of soft hums...

In the silent clubroom, only the girl’s low murmurs gradually echoed...
