System Came When the Doctor was Thirty

In the end, whether or not to award some kind of helping hand award is decided by the county, and Li Bo wouldn’t strongly recommend Lu Cheng.

He’s not familiar with Lu Cheng, but Xie Huan directly put the blame on the County Hospital, which is quite shameless.

Given the development of short videos, nowadays, regardless of the place, it’s impossible to easily hold accountable a doctor willing to step up in emergency avoidance situations.

In such situations, helping is a favor, not helping is the norm.

If he doesn’t reveal his identity, who would know he is a doctor?

Xie Huan’s tone was firm: ”Director Li, this is our stance over here. This report needs to be carefully deliberated.”

”I’ll immediately have someone make changes.”

”This time, the three people who died in the car accident indeed fell victim to relatively irresistible circumstances.”

How the car accident happened, whether it involved murder or not, that’s not within the jurisdiction of the Health Bureau.

The health system just needs to do its part.

But if someone died inside the hospital, the county has to investigate whether it’s due to inefficiency in the hospital system, causing the incident to escalate.

If problems are found, they are easier to share.

After all, claiming that the doctor is responsible for someone who got their head blown off on the scene, that’s basically treating the leadership as fools.

The news can be discounted, but the report can’t!

Xie Huan continued: ”Director Li, fellow leaders, I am reporting this to our Health Bureau leaders, letting them review more meticulously the things Dr. Lu Cheng did on site.”

Anyone selected successfully either has extremely strong abilities or a very strong background.

If you cause trouble for him at this time.

Big brother, in the future when medical disputes arise in the hospital, how will the county manage?

Lu Cheng might not become a member of the expert group, but Lu Cheng’s leadership could have opinions about the Feng County health system.

If everything becomes a matter of bureaucracy, many things will become more troublesome.

Just as Xie Huan was saying this, someone came in to report.

However, he wasn’t reporting to Xie Huan or Tan Li, but to a deputy director of the State Health and Health Commission.

Upon receiving the report, he frowned slightly and glanced around with the report in hand, unsure whether to point things out.

Everyone’s mingling in the circle, and reports are just for the leaders to see, providing a plausible statement, keeping things from getting too awkward.

He didn’t know Lu Cheng either, but eventually, he didn’t share the things he heard.

After all, quite a few people came to Feng County this time.

It wasn’t until twenty minutes later, when Feng County indicated they would resubmit the ”report,” that the leader said: ”I just received news that many people from the County Hospital said that Dr. Lu’s emergency measures on the scene were well executed.”

”According to their speculation, if he hadn’t intervened, the number of deaths on-site might have been one or two more.”

”It was precisely because Dr. Lu Cheng’s timely hemostasis operation on-site that gave the patients extra time for subsequent surgery.”

Upon hearing what the leader of the State Health and Health Commission said, the County Health Bureau leaders responded: ”Oh yes, luckily, there were emergency department experts from the State Hospital right on the scene.”

”Otherwise, on-site rescue might not have been timely.”

The people from the County Public Security Bureau suddenly said: ”Director Li, there are quite a number of injured people this time, shouldn’t non-contact injured parties who didn’t directly interact with the vehicle not be reported?”

Li Bo replied: ”I don’t know, you should communicate with your leadership yourselves.”

”Anyway, the opinion we and your county’s criminal investigation provided is that the suspect confessed to the crime. The reason, well.”

”Sigh!~”

”Let’s not talk about the reasons.” Li Bo said in an official tone.

In his view, the female party is at fault, but it doesn’t warrant death.

Li Bo is only responsible for criminal investigation, there are other responsible parties in the public security system. He glanced at a few leaders in the county’s public security system and asked: ”According to the suspect’s testimony, he said he reported the case but it wasn’t accepted.”

”Who were the duty staff and case handlers that day? Report yourselves!”

The group of people in the county all looked tense.

What was supposed to come has come after all.

Actually, if there wasn’t a claim of the case being reported but not accepted, the nature wouldn’t be this serious.

But since it became a fact, there’s something to talk about.

The case is simple, but the matter isn’t, so many units and departments collaborate to handle it, including publicity, health and hygiene, among others.

…

In the operating room of Feng County People’s Hospital.

Director Yao Xin from the State People’s Hospital’s Hepatobiliary Surgery Department was transferred to perform life-saving surgery.

Yao Xin felt uncomfortable with this arrangement, having to work overtime during holidays.

But after hearing from the General Surgery staff in the county that the county leadership is still dragging out the ”emergency avoidance” rule, he cursed: ”Damn, this gang is flipping the heavens, did they grow their butts on their faces?”

”Are they trying to stick it to one of our hospital’s employees?”

General Surgery’s Zhao Zhixiong was dumbfounded when he heard: ”What? Director Yao, is Dr. Lu from your hospital? That’s impossible!”

”Everyone says he’s from Long County People’s Hospital.”

When Lu Cheng was doing operations at the State People’s Hospital, Yao Xin was merely an assistant. Others might not know Lu Cheng, but he definitely does.

Yao Xin glanced at Zhao Zhixiong and said: ”He used to be from the County Hospital, but now he’s from our hospital, is there a problem?”

”I’ve been wanting him in our department, but he doesn’t want to, went to the emergency department.”

Zhao Zhixiong certainly didn’t think about reporting this matter, his task is to treat patients as the Director of General Surgery.

Lu Cheng isn’t some main character, everyone’s attention isn’t focused on him, Zhao Zhixiong doesn’t even know who Lu Cheng is: ”Dr. Lu even declined you, Director Yao?”

With a smile, Zhao Zhixiong suddenly said: ”Huh? Let me tell you something outrageous, Xiangya Second Hospital’s associate professor was his assistant.”

”I was on the stage back then.”

The operating room fell silent.

Alright then, this makes the matter even more interesting…
