System Came When the Doctor was Thirty

Cao Qiheng couldn’t quite remember what Lu Cheng had said, but he vaguely recalled that something like this had happened in the hospital.

Lu Cheng indeed fulfilled the ”wild words” he had spoken.

What are Lu Cheng’s classmates compared to him? Whether in terms of professionalism or academics, they couldn’t match Lu Cheng at all.

When Lu Cheng’s research achievements come out, he, as a senior, would only be a three-round opponent for Lu Cheng, and after three rounds, it would most likely be him, Cao Qiheng, being defeated by Lu Cheng.

Originality is just that invincible!

Moreover, this represents Lu Cheng’s pioneering talent and accumulation, with a long future ahead.

”Behind closed doors, it’s just idle talk. As long as Teacher Cao and Teacher Du are not making fun of me, I’m content.”

Lu Cheng said, ”Besides, you can rest assured, Teacher Cao, when I say I won’t go to Huashan Hospital, I just won’t go.”

”When I say I won’t return to orthopedics, it means I definitely won’t return to orthopedics.”

Lu Cheng enunciated very precisely and clearly.

If Lu Cheng hadn’t accumulated experience beforehand, these would be wild words.

But coincidentally, in Lu Cheng’s demonstrated original technique research this time, there is a substantive organ Suturing Technique.

If Lu Cheng is willing to delve deeply into this path based on this foundation, neither Cao Qiheng nor Du Lianshan would doubt Lu Cheng’s potential to make a lasting impact.

The reason they came is because Lu Cheng’s clinical accumulation and understanding in hand surgery are too profound.

With such originality, Huashan Hospital could likely benefit the most from functional reconstruction surgery, singing all the way to becoming the true top leader in hand surgery in Hua Country.

But now, this kind of opportunity is probably gone.

It’s not that Huashan Hospital can’t lead, it’s impossible to collaborate with Lu Cheng to the point of leading the country.

That is to say, the path Lu Cheng follows, improving the comprehensive efficacy of functional reconstruction surgery through Suturing Technique, is definitely not feasible.

Du Lianshan said, ”Lu Cheng, can we hear your reason? Why don’t you even want to return to orthopedics?”

”Are you still upset?”

Lu Cheng said, ”If I applied for an academic graduate program, then fine, I admit defeat respectably.”

”But I applied for a professional master’s program, and as a professional master’s student in orthopedics, I should be rooted in the profession, grounded in surgical basics, and focused on clinical practice.”

Du Lianshan identified Lu Cheng’s point of contention and explained, ”Lu Cheng, but isn’t this just your perspective and understanding?”

”Medication has a broader application range than technology and is simpler.”

”Basic research benefits patients, treating all equally.”

Lu Cheng emphasized, ”Surgery is a specialty where, without surgical intervention, medication is completely useless.”

”On the contrary, even without special medication, based on current understanding, surgeons can resolve many conditions through surgical methods.”

”At least, from the pinnacle of medical development, surgical techniques are still the core of surgery.”

”As long as this basic premise is unbroken, surgery should still focus on surgical techniques, right?”

”How many surgical conditions can be cured without relying on surgery?”

”Even appendicitis cannot.” Lu Cheng added.

Du Lianshan stopped talking, and Cao Qiheng also became rather restrained.

After having dinner, Lu Cheng suggested whether Du Lianshan and Cao Qiheng wanted to take a stroll around Qianzhou Ancient City.

However, Du Lianshan politely declined, as he already understood Lu Cheng’s intentions and had confirmed that their purpose for coming could not be achieved.

With no interest in staying to appreciate the scenery, they returned to Zhang City, planning to transfer from there to Shanghai.

Lu Cheng didn’t insist on their staying, exchanged a few pleasantries, and then courteously accompanied the two to the high-speed railway station.

Lu Cheng stood at the station entrance and waved goodbye to the two!

Tong Yuan’an also waved continuously, but as he waved, he found himself laughing.

Watching the backs of Du Lianshan and Cao Qiheng, Tong Yuan’an felt that these two had come to Ji City just to have a meal with Lu Cheng, and then return, a journey that seemed both comical and absurd.
