System Came When the Doctor was Thirty

The ambulance and the accompanying doctor and nursing team dared not pause for a moment. After transferring the patient onto the ambulance, they quickly began advanced life support.

Although many of the accompanying doctors looked at Lu Cheng’s figure with full minds of doubt as the back door of the ambulance slowly closed, there was no time to solve the mystery.

Such curiosity killed the cat. Encountering unsolved problems and pursuing answers indiscriminately will not happen in reality.

The duty of the accompanying ambulance doctor was to transfer the patient from the scene to the ambulance and then safely deliver them to the hospital.

Besides that, even if there were doubts, they had to hold them back.

”Dr. Su, the blood pressure measurement result is out, the systolic pressure is only 92, what should we do?” The nurse, after measuring the vital signs with the help of the stretcher bearer, realized that Su Lin hadn’t issued any orders and reminded him.

”Let’s start with an infusion, give colloids first.”

When Su Lin came back to his senses and saw that the patient’s blood oxygen was low, he connected the ventilation tube to oxygen, then observed the wound in front of him.

”Unlucky, but also lucky. If it had been half a minute later, there wouldn’t have been a chance to save him.” Su Lin mumbled while continuing to clean the oral cavity of the tracheostomy patient.

Though not doctors, the stretcher bearers were experienced due to long-term exposure; one of them cautiously said, ”Dr. Su, the handling of this patient on-site is the most proficient I’ve seen in years.”

”That doctor from Long County has a strong ability.” Su Lin nodded.

”You two, help clean the face and head wounds of blood, I’ll check the wound bleeding situation again.”

”Okay, Dr. Su.” Although the porters couldn’t do particularly professional work, they were very skilled at wiping blood stains.

After Su Lin opened the emergency external dressing and observed the hemostats entering the flesh at a tricky angle, he found it increasingly hard to believe.

He was aware that Long County was one of the eight counties and cities in Xiangzhou, but Long County was much more remote than Feng County, economically inferior, yet such a high-caliber doctor could be there?

Su Lin couldn’t comprehend and naturally couldn’t solve it.

After relatively steadily delivering the patient to the emergency department at Feng County People’s Hospital, the patient was immediately transferred to the resuscitation area...

Standard heart monitoring and a more standard tracheostomy tube were immediately applied in the emergency department!

Since ventilation was already provided, the patient’s current blood oxygen level had reached 97%, but the blood pressure was still a bit low, though the systolic had reached 97.

Su Lin conducted a quick handover: ”There was an acute arterial injury on-site, but it was urgently treated by others; however, he should be taken to the operating room as soon as possible.”

The working emergency surgeon at Feng County People’s Hospital, just an experienced attending doctor, said upon hearing, ”Okay, I’ll immediately request an orthopedic consultation.”

”What exactly happened? I received a call saying others would be sent here too?”

Su Lin, familiar with the on-duty doctor, replied, ”There was a car accident near the scenic area; I heard the driver intentionally drove into a crowd!”

”Two people were dead on the spot, and the remaining will be transported here one after another.”

”You quickly report it by phone.”

The on-duty doctor said, ”The 120 dispatch center called our hospital’s medical office a long time ago; the medical office has organized emergency teams from various departments. They will arrive soon.”

”Our department’s Director Liang is also on his way.”

”Only two intentional retaliations?”

”In May this year, I heard in that neighboring Long County town in our state, a man, due to betrothal gift issues, took away six people.”

Su Lin, annoyed, said, ”If we’re unlucky with this one, 10% more, and the remaining few are in a pretty dangerous state. For now, only two, with their heads smashed apart...”

The on-duty doctor grumbled, ”I mean, if only two, we don’t need to report. After all, once reaching a certain number, the province would have to send people.”

”Don’t know what’s going on now, this type of thing is happening more frequently, afraid we write too few reports as an emergency department?”

As they talked, Director Liang of the Feng County People’s Hospital emergency department hurried over. He didn’t even get a chance to change into his white coat, hastily donning a set of work clothes and rushing.

”Han Gaofeng, how’s the situation?” Director Liang’s voice trembled slightly.

Seeing Liang Yunchao, Su Lin said, ”Director Liang, I’ve completed this handover task, there are lightly injured patients on site; I may need to pick up a person.”

”What’s going on?” Liang Yunchao asked.

”I don’t know. It’s hearsay without much substance, the reason might be known over time.” Su Lin dared not to spread rumors.

The accident already happened, specific reasons and motives he couldn’t accurately guess.

...

Lu Cheng slowly stopped the car at the entrance of the emergency department and said, ”Book Bag, you take Teacher Tong inside for a detailed check-up, I’ll go park!”

No matter what, the sooner the check-up, the sooner the peace of mind.

Sometimes saving a few seconds can save a life.

Not necessarily cursing Tong Yuan’an for severe injuries, but Lu Cheng knew in that urgent situation, Tong Yuan’an activated a survival instinct, rolling quickly, not sure if he hit anything.

After all, not rolling would mean certain death; at that time, Tong Yuan’an must have exerted all his strength.

Mu Nanshu and Tong Yuan’an sat in the back seat; finally regaining his senses, Tong Yuan’an said, ”Mu Nanshu, I can get out of the car myself.”
