Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Chapter 641: Chapter 641 [Scale Shooting]

“[Heavy Punch Impact]”

Piluf’s sandbag-sized fist lifted an orange glow and mercilessly smashed toward the gathering Stripe Guardian Subhumans.

Without a word, Yang Yu extracted himself from combat with the Heavy Knights and, using his own speed, got in front of the Stripe Guardian Subhumans, meeting Piluf’s fist with his shield.

A terrifying shockwave spread from the sturdy shield sideways, whipping up violent chills.

Piluf, possessing nearly two thousand strength, was unable to completely block the damage from Piluf’s Skill, even using [Shield Block].

Having activated [Climbing] to increase his grip, the ground under Yang Yu’s feet shattered due to Piluf’s Attack.

The force from the [Heavy Punch Impact] was truly terrifying.

With a strong push, Yang Yu slid across the ground, leaving a long trail.

Yet Piluf never managed to send Yang Yu flying with one punch.

The Stripe Guardian Subhumans behind Yang Yu, sensing that something was amiss, took the initiative to use their agile figures and suction-cupped hands to escape onto the nearby wall.

A Silver Wolf burst out from the shifting mist of transformation, and Piluf withdrew his fist, employing [Skill Backward] to move a small distance back.

Then, his fist violently crashed forward again.

A dull sound erupted as Piluf’s punch heavily struck Lotcar’s right shoulder, sending his body uncontrollably flying backwards. Skidding across the ground with his sharp claws, Lotcar barely managed to stop himself.

In just one exchange, Lotcar understood the gap in strength between him and Piluf.

“Lotcar, don’t waste too much strength on him, create a foothold for the Stripe Guardian!” commanded Yang Yu amidst the countless noisy voices of the battlefield.

Earlier, Yang Yu had instructed them that when facing tough opponents, he would do his best to restrain them, while other soldiers should expand the advantage on the frontline as much as possible.

This wasn’t a one-man war.

As long as they could get more Wansheng Country soldiers onto the city walls and gradually gain the upper hand, that would be their victory.

Manes standing on end, Lotcar’s claws gleamed as he collided with the Luo Ze Empire’s ranged troops, tossing Heavy Soldiers aside with his gaping maw and piercing one ranged soldier after another with his sharp Silver Wolf claws.

Ayoy and the other officers had also heard Yang Yu’s words, and in coordination with the formidable Lotcar, they cleared a path on the wall.

The Stripe Guardian Subhuman once again climbed atop the city wall rampart, lifting its massive tail.

[Scale Shooting] is a common Skill among many scaly Subhumans.

This Skill consists of propelling the magic power accumulated in their scales as a weapon, rather than shooting the scales themselves.

Different Subhumans using [Scale Shooting] will produce varying effects, with different power and range.

As Stripe Guardian Subhumans are covered in fine scales, their [Scale Shooting] is not very powerful or long-ranged, but can puncture like tiny needles, penetrating most armor and even some of the enemy’s own defense.

Heavy Knights, who gave Yang Yu a hard time, were almost no different from ordinary people to the Stripe Guardian.

Without the obstruction of the Heavy Soldiers, the covering troops could penetrate deep into enemy territory, attacking the vulnerable ranged troops of the Luo Ze Empire and expanding their operational range.

Unfortunately, the Skill “Scale Shooting,” which fires Magic Power attached to scales, has a limited number of scales that each Stripe Guardian Sub-human can shoot over a period, and after using it a few times, they needed to spend time replenishing their “ammo.”

“Get out of my way!”

Seeing Luoze’s troops nearby being dispersed by the West Fifth Army’s siege troops and being restrained by Yang Yu himself, Piluf intensified the force in his hands, unleashing “Giant’s Fist.”

A silvery glow enveloped Piluf’s fist, transforming it into a stronger and more powerful fist, aimed straight at Yang Yu’s face.

Yang Yu utilized his Speed to dodge the impact point of “Giant’s Fist.” In an instant, the wall let out a painful roar, and cracks violently spread near the silver fist as pebbles were shaken into the air.

Piluf’s attack was far from over; he took a deep breath, pulled his arm out of the city wall, and two tornadoes began to swirl around his fist.

Both fists struck out at Yang Yu at the same time, and two blue tornadoes shot out from Piluf’s fists, intertwining and sweeping up the airborne pebbles.

Yang Yu knew this Skill by name as “Death Blue Tornado,” which grew more powerful the longer it moved, picking up everything in its path into the air.

His troops were directly behind him, and Piluf’s “Death Blue Tornado” was not to be underestimated. If his own troops encountered some problems, the consequences would be unimaginable.

Instead of dodging, Yang Yu stood his ground, activating “Copper Wall Iron Curtain” and “Steel Body” to enhance his tanking ability, while using “Climbing” to firmly grip the relatively intact stones beneath his feet.

The blue hurricanes, like two drill bits, struck violently against Yang Yu’s Shield.

The Shield creaked, and Yang Yu’s arms grew numb from the impact, but he still held the Shield tightly.

However, before the hurricane on the Shield had a chance to disperse,

In the next instant, Piluf’s massive body, along with his huge fists, suddenly appeared in front of Yang Yu, headed straight for his head.

Releasing “Climbing” from his feet, Yang Yu allowed himself to be swept up into the air by the “Death Blue Tornado,” pushed back several meters to avoid Piluf’s attack.

Sensing the intense battle situation in Yang Yu’s direction, a few Stripe Guardian Sub-humans flicked their tails, aiming at Piluf to launch “Scale Shooting.”

Piluf crossed his hands in front of his chest to put up “Golden Light Shield,” as the sharp needle-like scale attack struck the Shield, as if hitting an oval eggshell.

“Scale Shooting” had no effect, but in an effort to cover Yang Yu, several Stripe Guardian Sub-humans once again shot out a viscous liquid from their large tails.

This was by no means Magic.

Each Stripe Guardian Sub-human’s tail stored a Defense-oriented body fluid.

Just as a skunk, when startled, would spray a scorching hot liquid from its rear end,

Or after failing to ward off threats with its raised black and white tail, sprayed a foul-smelling liquid.

Unfortunately, since it was their body fluid, Stripe Guardian Sub-humans could only use it once a day.

With a formidable opponent like Piluf, the siege troops could not afford to be careless. Despite the preciousness of this attack, several Stripe Guardian Sub-humans still launched their attack at Piluf simultaneously.

The viscous liquid, with a slight corrosive effect, easily penetrated Piluf’s “Golden Light Shield” and clung to Piluf’s Armor, reaching the ground.

The fluid was extremely sticky, with a freezing point far below that of water.

Even in the dead of winter, this Defense-oriented body fluid would not freeze.
