After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 277: Chapter 278 Have you eaten? [5]

Leng Zimo burst out laughing, having thought it was something serious that made her so grave.

”Is it that funny?” Luo Xiaoqian frowned.

”No,” Leng Zimo stopped laughing, ”It’s just that I thought, we were already dating.”

All these days, could it be he was discussing business with her?!

”But we never went on a date?” Luo Xiaoqian felt a bit upset.

From what she could remember, other than eating meals, it seemed they only did that one thing—how could that be considered dating?

Seeing her somewhat aggrieved look, his tone became serious too, ”Alright, then how do you want to date?”

”This...” Luo Xiaoqian was at a loss for words, she hadn’t thought about it until now, ”At the very least, we can’t live together yet. Maybe...” she carefully observed his expression, ”I should move out to live on my own?”

”No way!” Leng Zimo immediately refused.

With her being so naively clueless, who could guarantee nothing would happen if she lived alone.

Luo Xiaoqian growled with displeasure, ”Why not? In dating, men and women should be equal, and we are no longer in a contract relationship.”

Noticing her own loss of control, she hurried to apologize, ”I mean...”

”I’ll move out,” Leng Zimo spoke before she did, ”You can live here on your own, would that be alright?”

How could Luo Xiaoqian have the heart to say yes, ”But what about you?”

This was his house after all, and now he was going to move out.

”I have plenty of places to stay,” Leng Zimo closed the topic, ”Anything else?”

”Also...” Luo Xiaoqian thought for a moment, ”I won’t spend your money. Of course, you can give me gifts, but they shouldn’t be too expensive... and you can’t interfere with my freedom.”

She was about to have various kinds of income; she should not need his financial help. As for her freedom, he had never thought about caging her.

”Alright, anything else?” Leng Zimo accepted all her conditions.

”Not for now,” Luo Xiaoqian looked at his face, ”What about you?”

Since it was to be fair, he certainly could make his own demands.

”Me?” Leng Zimo’s large hand encircled her slim waist, ”Two things, one, gain a little weight; two, tell me anything you can’t resolve.”

Luo Xiaoqian was puzzled by the first point, ”Why should I gain weight? Aren’t all the actresses shouting about losing weight these days?”

”Because I like you a little chubbier.” His palm gently caressed her waist; she was indeed too thin. Sometimes, he worried that a little force might hurt her, ”And there’s one more thing.”

”What’s that?” Feeling his restless hands, her face was already flushed.

”It’s late today, can I stay here?” he asked earnestly, yet his eyes clearly showed a mischievous glint.

Seeing through his real intentions, Luo Xiaoqian was powerless to refuse. What could she say, to send him away in the middle of the night?

”You can.”

Her voice was low, like the buzzing of a mosquito, knowing it was a trap, yet she could only jump down into it.

”Did you eat enough?” Leng Zimo asked again.

Luo Xiaoqian nodded her head, but before she knew it, she was swept up in his arms, carried out of the dining room, with Leng Zimo striding upstairs.

She was full, but he was still hungry!

After more than a week without touching her, he had been missing her desperately.

As he carried her into the bedroom upstairs and laid her on the pillow, Luo Xiaoqian suddenly felt that something was off.

She had clearly said they should start by dating, so how had it developed to this extent again?
