After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 276: Chapter 277 Luo Xiaoqian’s Decision [4]

His lips were slightly cool as they touched her skin, but they seemed to carry a scalding heat, reaching her ear but burning all the way into Luo Xiaoqian’s heart, making it leap wildly.

A surge of nervousness rose within her, and Luo Xiaoqian pursed her lips but ultimately let out a single word.

”Yes.”

Once she set her mind on something, she never hesitated.

Although she had rejected him due to his sudden confession before, now that she had recognized her own feelings, she naturally did not want to hide her affection for him any longer.

”Good girl!” Leng Zimo kissed her hair with satisfaction, taking the spoon from her hand, ”Go get a bowl!”

Already lacking in culinary skills, the dumpling wrappers were either too thin or thick and had all frozen together, making them nearly inedible once cooked.

Luo Xiaoqian brought the bowl back, facing the ”shredded soup” in the pot with an embarrassed expression.

”Otherwise, let’s throw it away, there should be other food in the fridge.”

”I want to eat it.”

Leng Zimo took the bowl from her hands, scooping the relatively intact ones into the bowl for her, and served himself a bowl of ”dumpling wrapper soup” replete with both filling and skins.

Sitting together at the table, Luo Xiaoqian looked at her own bowl, then at his, and immediately pushed her bowl towards him.

”You eat this.”

”I already ate on the plane, just some soup is fine,” Leng Zimo gestured to her with his chin, ”Eat up, I cooked it!”

Luo Xiaoqian lowered her face to eat the dumplings; although poorly wrapped, the filling tasted quite good.

Looking up, she saw him just watching her, and immediately she offered him a dumpling with her chopsticks.

This time, Leng Zimo did not refuse and opened his mouth to let her place the dumpling inside. After chewing, he said, ”Not bad. When did you make these?”

”The day you left,” she replied while eating her dumplings.

The day he left?

That is to say, even after hearing him tell her to leave, she still had the mood to stay and make dumplings?

”Why?” Leng Zimo asked.

Luo Xiaoqian casually answered, ”Didn’t you say you like dumplings?”

So, she made these dumplings especially for him?

”Xiao Qian!” He reached out, grasping her wrist in his hand, his deep dark eyes staring into hers, ”Why did you stay?”

With her personality, shouldn’t she have left immediately after he told her to go?

”I...” she swallowed the dumpling in her mouth, ”I just thought, maybe if you sent me away, you could cool down a bit.”

A twinge of pain struck Leng Zimo’s heart.

This girl always considered others too much!

”Come here.”

He commanded.

Luo Xiaoqian was a bit puzzled but obediently walked over to him.

He wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her down to sit on his lap. Leng Zimo raised his hand to caress her head, ”From now on, think more about yourself. Whenever you let yourself be aggrieved, it hurts me.”

A warmth filled her heart, and she nodded under his gaze.

Noticing the filling at the corner of her mouth, he reached for a tissue to wipe her lips clean.

”Continue eating.”

Luo Xiaoqian strenuously swallowed the dumpling, ”Leng Zimo, I’ve thought it over carefully these past few days. I’ve decided... cough...”

Swallowing too hurriedly, she choked!

Leng Zimo frowned and handed her the soup to drink.

After several big gulps, she finally managed to swallow the dumpling stuck in her throat.

”Decided on what?”

”I’ve decided...” Luo Xiaoqian wiped her lips, clenched her fists, gathering all her courage, ”I’ve decided to date you!”
