After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 260: Chapter 261: Occasional Intersections [7]

The sunlight streamed in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, brightening the living room, and at the same time, Luo Xiaoqian in the piano room finally finished writing the last line of lyrics on the score.

”...Occasional encounter, cherished for a lifetime!”

Music is the voice of the soul, and for Luo Xiaoqian, music was also the best way to resolve and relieve pressure.

All the suppressed emotions of the day had transformed into this new song she had just composed— ”Occasional Encounter”.

”Because inadvertently, you crossed the path of my life, disturbing the strings of my heart.

...

An occasional encounter, preluding a Chapter with no end.

Yet, I will remember.

Forgive my cowardice and lack of courage, I can only watch you from behind.

...”

Humming the piece one more time from the score she had hastily written, Luo Xiaoqian drew a deep breath and raised her hand to wipe away the un-dried tear stains on her face.

...

...

The next day’s recording went relatively smoothly, a full day and night busy with recording the instrumental and vocal parts to completion.

Zhuo Yannan’s entire MTV shooting plan was also in place.

On the morning of the third day, when Luo Xiaoqian and Ya Nan were listening to the demo, Yu Tong had already walked in.

”The plane tickets for two hours from now, a direct flight to the Maldives, the production crew is already rushing to the airport, how are things on your end?”

”OK!” Ya Nan took off the headphones from his head, ”No problems at all, I’ll leave the post-production work to you, you can go shoot the MTV with peace of mind.”

”I’ve prepared some basic necessities for you, and as for clothes, you can buy them there, there are plenty of duty-free shops, it’s cheap, and we’re only staying two days before we move on to other countries. Get some rest, and we’ll head straight to the airport!” Yu Tong set the meals she brought for them on the table, ”Breakfast!”

Luo Xiaoqian offered no objections, pressed for time, and besides, she had never been too particular about clothes, and furthermore, the production crew had already prepared outfits for the shoot.

During breakfast, Luo Xiaoqian discussed some post-production issues with Ya Nan. After eating, Luo Xiaoqian and Yu Tong rushed directly to Beijing International Airport, and after a brief interaction with the awaiting staff, boarded the plane flying directly to the Maldives.

This MTV was also based on the content of a web novel Lin Xi had read, featuring scenes of the ocean, snowiness, and desert sunrise; the Maldives was the first stop for the production team.

Once on the plane, Luo Xiaoqian started to flip through that web novel’s original text on the e-reader Yu Tong had brought her.

Unsurprisingly, after not having slept well for two days and working at high intensity, she finally relaxed, and her exhaustion completely overtook her.

She had only glanced at it for a few moments before she unwittingly fell into a deep sleep.

When she awoke again and looked out the airplane window, she saw the clear night sky and the lights, like beads on a string; they had arrived at the Maldives.

Stepping off the plane, a sea breeze hit her face, and smelling that somewhat familiar scent, Luo Xiaoqian raised her hand to put on a pair of light-colored sunglasses, covering her slightly sore eyes.

Staff members who had arrived early came to pick them up at the airport, taking everyone to the hotel.

During dinner, Zhuo Yannan briefed everyone on the filming work in the Maldives, explaining that since they were mainly capturing dawn and daylight scenes, they could rest well tonight.

After dinner, everyone returned to their rooms to rest, preparing to start filming early the next morning.
