After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 255: Chapter 256: The Song Name He Came Up With [2]

”After several rounds of voting and meetings, this photo has been selected as the single’s cover. This is the cover design we are proceeding with. When the final CD box comes out, it will be made to have a door-like effect, as if you’re using a key to open a door...” Xiao Lin said with a smile, looking towards Luo Xiaoqian, who was sitting at the end of the long table, ”We have named this single ’Setting Out.’ To maintain the single’s integrity, we will include another song by Miss Luo, the one you sang in the competition, ’White Moonlight.’ The company is already negotiating the copyright issues...”

Seeing Luo Xiaoqian turn her face to look at him, Zhuo Yannan raised his hand to signal Xiao Lin to pause, ”Miss Luo, do you have a question?”

”I was wondering if the name of that song has been decided?”

Previously, when the lyrics were first written, since the lyricist Lin Xi had not yet come up with a name, the title of her song had not been decided.

”It has been named ’Dropping Lip,’ a name personally chosen by President Leng!” Xiao Lin explained with a smile, ”Dropping Lip is a classic Chinese lyrical form that matches the style of both songs very well and also contrasts nicely with ’White Moonlight.’ Even Lin Xi herself was thrilled with the choice. Do you have any objections?”

”No!” Luo Xiaoqian hurriedly shook her head, ”I was just asking.”

Leng Zimo?!

As this name flashed through her mind, Luo Xiaoqian’s heart felt a fresh stab of pain.

”Then let’s continue. Our MV script has also been finalized. According to Miss Lin Xi, this song is inspired by an online novel, and we have obtained permission from the original author. The MV will be shot in locations that depict the story of that novel...”

While Xiao Lin was explaining, another staff member distributed the work schedule to everyone.

”All work officially starts tomorrow. The release date for the single that we’ll announce publicly is the 22nd. Before that, we must complete the MTV and the recording of ’White Moonlight.’ Some preliminary promotions will also begin during this period.” Zhuo Yannan turned to look at Luo Xiaoqian, ”To save time, we’ll split up. Xiao Lin, you take a team to scout locations, then Miss Luo, you have two days to record ’White Moonlight.’ After that, hand it over to the production department to start creating the product, and we’ll begin shooting the MTV. The entire filming schedule will last a week, leaving one day for post-production and editing...”

He glanced at the people present, ”Does anyone have any questions?”

”No!”

Everyone responded in unison.

Zhuo Yannan looked at Luo Xiaoqian, who seemed somewhat distracted, ”Miss Luo, do you have a question?”

”No!” Luo Xiaoqian said hastily.

”Xiao Qian, are you feeling unwell? Why are your eyes so red?” Yu Tong asked with concern.

”I didn’t sleep well last night,” Luo Xiaoqian replied offhandedly.

Zhuo Yannan stood up, ”Then it’s settled, we start tomorrow?”

”Could we... start recording tonight?” Luo Xiaoqian pressed her lips together.

With the schedule being so tight, she didn’t want the stress of limited time to affect the quality of her performance, and besides, she really couldn’t think of anywhere else to go after leaving here.

She was genuinely afraid of seeing Leng Zimo, afraid she wouldn’t be able to control herself.

”That would be best, of course, but can you handle it?” Zhuo Yannan asked.

”I’m fine,” Luo Xiaoqian said.

”Great!” Zhuo Yannan stood up, ”Little Chen, you’re responsible for contacting the teacher. Let’s all get moving immediately. Let’s go!”
