Chapter 2105: Chapter 326: Under the Grip of Frenzy

”What do you mean?”

The fat man looked calm and composed, even managing to muster up an appropriate amount of confusion on his face, as if he was completely baffled by being hung in mid-air.

The black cat’s pupils narrowed into a line:

”What were you up to tonight?”

”Studying!”

The fat wizard spoke swiftly and decisively: ”I went to the library to catch up on homework, you know, I haven’t finished my Curse Course assignments, which are due Monday. The Doctor can vouch for me... Ugh!!”

A large, fleshy tongue was pulled out of his mouth by an invisible force, tied into a pretty bow in mid-air, and the fat wizard’s face visibly began to turn purple.

The black cat relaxed its tail, and the fat wizard immediately fell to the ground, rolling violently a few times, hands frantically grasping the knotted tongue outside his mouth, trying to untie it, looking as if he was about to suffocate.

Luckily, this punishment lasted only a short time; moments later, the fat wizard lay on the ground panting heavily, limbs spread out, his chubby face drenched in cold sweat.

”Touching Tongue True Word Spell.”

The black cat looked down at the fat wizard on the ground, expression inscrutable, voice deep: ”Recently learned a little spell that seemed interesting, didn’t think I’d use it so soon... Don’t lie about my questions, or your tongue will tie itself... So, once more, what were you up to tonight?”

The fat wizard’s gaze shifted slightly.

Under the ceiling, Doctor Xiao adjusted his glasses, kindly reminding: ”Just be honest, we’ve already confessed... And remember, when you’re being chewed, don’t breathe, hold your breath, that way the blood won’t choke your lungs, it’ll be much better.”

”Brother Qing doesn’t necessarily like chewing on his fat flesh.”

Dylan, hanging on the other side, woke up at some point, eyes hazy, muttered: ”I suggest burning it, punishment is better that way, such a pity not to burn that fat...”

The black cat’s eyes moved slightly, loosening the tail holding Mister Wolfman, seemingly very interested in his suggestion. In contrast, the fat wizard lying on the ground seemed to fall into an ice cellar, every hair on his body stood up.

”What does ’chew’ mean?”

He struggled to keep his tone steady, while slowly inching towards the door unnoticed.

”Literal meaning.”

A thick tail descended from the sky, disrupting the fat wizard’s escape plan, grabbing his ankle, hoisting him back into the air. The black cat glanced at the fat wizard, faintly emitting a blue hue, two more tails emerged, holding two charm guns, with a hint of warning in its tone: ”What goes around comes around... I advise you to be cautious.”

Xin Fat Man looked at the two familiar-looking charm guns aimed at his lower body, and the dangerous aura they emitted, the blue hue on his face visibly receded, he cried out:

”I confess, I confess it all... Today, I went to join the Halloween parade... Everyone went... I’m just a small fry... The Doctor, Doctor made the plan! I can vouch for it!”

Xiao Xiao, hanging mid-air, adjusted his glasses without any intention of defending.

”What’s the parade theme?” The black cat revealed several gleaming teeth.

The fat man quietly answered, ”Burn... the Burn Zheng Qing parade.”

”Where did the parade’s straw men come from?”

”D&K supplied them.”

”What about inside the straw men?”

”We... we pulled a few threads from your bed sheet... One thread can make a hundred strawmen... We had the strawmen made by a professional agency, the threads underwent special treatment, there won’t be any major harm to you!”

”Ma!jor! Harm! Hmm?” The black cat seemed to snort these words out of its nose, looking at the fat wizard more maliciously.

”Merlin above!” The fat man was intimidated by the black cat’s gaze, instinctively turning to his two companions, shouting: ”Didn’t you say he’d let it slide once he found out?”

”Didn’t we already prepare for the worst before doing this?” Mister Wolfman retorted, and with effort rolled his eyes: ”Besides, why would you think that after poking and burning so many effigies of him, we could escape unscathed... You’re not the Monitor.”

The Doctor adjusted his glasses for the Nth time, apologetically saying: ”Additionally, the scale of the celebration was somewhat beyond expectations... Although those poked and burned strawmen didn’t physically harm him, they ignited his anger to some extent, and that anger needs an outlet.”

”Just like our original reason for doing this?” The fat wizard sighed weakly.

”Just like our original reason.” The Doctor nodded affirmatively.

”This really is,” the fat wizard wrinkled his brow, after much effort, finally found a few appropriate words: ”really is self-defeating, asking for trouble, a taste of one’s own medicine.”

”No wonder you’re the campus newspaper’s writer, you have a way with words.” Dylan weakly gave a thumbs up, slowly praising.

Bam!

The black cat ignored the conversation between the few of them, raised a paw, and a green, life-infused piece of talisman paper appeared in the fat wizard’s vision.

As if sensing the tense atmosphere, the talisman paper emitted a soothing aura.

”A High Tier recovery charm made by a Grand Rune Master, can effectively heal any mechanical injury quickly, making you a Wolverine, giving you a Deadpool experience.” The black cat laughed coldly: ”Public students get a discount, each charm is fifty gold beans, which means five jade coins... I bought each of you one... They’ve already used theirs, this one’s yours.”

The next second, the talisman paper was stuck to the fat wizard’s chest.

Then a gaping red mouth, with a slice of gleaming white light, engulfed all of Xin Fat Man’s vision, Dylan watched with great interest, Xiao Xiao also silently adjusted his glasses.

In the small dorm room, the sound of bones and flesh being chewed echoed along with the fat wizard’s powerful screams.

After a while.

A green glow suddenly lit up, gentle magical fluctuations spread to all directions.

Outside the window.

Not far from dorm room 403 in mid-air.

Several wizards in black robes stood in the air, their figures blurred, eyes reflecting the rather dire scene inside the dorm.

”How’s the effect?” Along with a murky inquiry, a dark red light flickered in the night, illuminating the waxy yellow face of the Dean of Jiuyou Academy under a hood.

”Not bad.”

Professor Yi held a compass in both hands, looking at the magnetic spoon on it twisting rashly, with a slight nod: ”Tonight’s magic ritual worked surprisingly well... the resentment circling Zheng Qing’s surroundings has been completely dissipated... I must say, I never knew such a small matter could incur so much resentment in such a short time!”
