COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Other side.

Hikigaya-kun, who had just sent a message to Manabu’s sister, put away his phone and increased his attention.

He found out.

Yukinoshita Haruno, who was originally surrounded by students probably discovered her sister, and then abandoned her own circle and came here.

Although later, the small team of students that Yukinoshita Haruno had just gathered was scared away by Vice President Hikigaya.

But Haruno didn’t seem to even glance at the small team behind her.

”It really is Yukino.” She has come in front of little sister.

If he felt that two girl’s appearances were 70% similar just now, now that they were closer, Hachiman felt similarity could be increased by another 50%.

At the same time, Haruno has a faint scent of perfume on her body, which is not too strong but not too light either, and is just the right scent.

Since there were often girls coming to the dormitory, he was also passively learning some knowledge about perfume.

”elder sister--”

The one who was like a kitten with its fur standing on end just now but has now turned into a timid cat is Yukinoshita Yukino.

She looked away from her sister.

This seemed to be just a temporary state. Yukinoshita quickly raised her head again and looked at her sister with a little stubbornness.

Haruno seemed to be looking at her with interest.

Hikigaya-kun felt that although other person was talking to her sister, but inquiring gaze seemed to be directed at him.

He had once seen this kind of gaze on Horikita Manabu.

I’m sure you’ll care.

Because there was suddenly a person of the opposite sex around her sister, and it was a closed school.

It really needs attention.

Because even Hikigaya-kun himself is not immune to this. If he sees someone of the opposite sex around Komachi, even if they are classmates, he will have to worry about what other person will think, after all, his sister is so cute.

Even if the other person is very outstanding, it won’t work because his sister is still so young, her thinking ability is not fully mature yet, and she is still in school. So as an older brother, his suggestion is that she should not fall in love and finish her studies first.

In this way, you need to expel opposite sex of right age from your sister.

So, older sister of the Yukinoshita family must be thinking same thing.

After all, her sister was indeed very beautiful, like a flower on the mountain top, but she also had some minor flaws in her character.

If someone could see into her heart, she would become very dangerous.

”I’m Hachiman Hikigaya, who is in the same student council as Yukinoshita. I’m currently Vice president of the student council.”

”Oh. So that’s it. I just realized that Yukino has colleagues around her~”

’Hello! Does this mean that my presence is low?’ Hachiman instantly felt this person was annoying. Didn’t she notice him just now?

But it happened quickly.

”What about Hikigaya-kun?” Haruno blinked cutely, ”It’s a nice name, and Hikigaya-kun is a second-year student, right? My sister joined council in her first year. Apparently she received help from you. She has a big problem with her personality. I wonder if you have noticed it.”

”Sister!” Yukino looked at her sister in a huge complain with frown. Can you stop embarrassing her in front of her colleagues like this?

”I’m sorry. I said some bad things about Yukino.” But Haruno’s face didn’t look sorry at all, ”You two seem to have a good relationship, so are you dating? If you want to date Yukino, you need to tolerate her problems in this aspe----”

”I’m not dating.” Yukino seemed a little angry, while refuting.

”Is that so—” However, older one suddenly stepped over Yukinoshita Yukino and came to Hachiman, leaning against him gently with her shoulder.

”Is it true?” She seemed to say this in Hachiman’s ear.

Is it jasmine? Lily? Rose perfume?

The knowledge that Hikigaya-kun possesses is activated.

By doing this you are resisting the temptation of other person.

Because this girl is a little different, she is so bold to approach a strange boy directly.

Then it makes your heart beat faster.

What a terrifying experience this is for an ordinary high school boy. You know, even Kushida can’t do this.

In terms of being approachable and gaining the favor of others, Yukinoshita Haruno should have surpassed Kushida-chan.

”We are indeed just carrying out the normal patrol work that student council members are required to do.” Hikigaya-kun said honestly.

”I don’t think so, but I’ll let you go anyway.” Saying this, Yukinoshita Haruno moved her body and left Hikigaya-kun.

It makes people feel relieved, but also a little regretful.

’Wrong. You can’t be full of pity for this person....’ Hikigaya-kun quickly pulled himself together.

”Yukino, it seems that you are doing well in this school, and you even joined student council.”

”You...” But Yukino felt that her sister meant something. ’Because generally speaking, entering the student council is not something to be boasted about, and my sister is saying it now, does she actually know this school is one where strength is paramount?’

But Haruno didn’t linger on it more than a thought, and changed subject. ”So, Yukino-chan, what project are you guys going to do? I really want to go and see it.”

”....!” Yukinoshita instantly covered her forehead in distress. But she still said, ”It’s the last show listed in brochure you got. It will be held at gymnasium at 3pm.”

”Then I’ll go around everywhere. I saw a lot of interesting projects. Like the cultural center art classroom gallery, these must require tickets, and I only got a 100,000 voucher, which always feels not enough.....” The elder sister extended her hand directly to her younger sister.

”Yukino, since you’re participating in the project, there’s no need for you to go sightseeing....”

In other words, is this asking your little sister for money? Wow.

This operation is shocking.

Even Yukinoshita Yukino was a little stunned, but she sighed helplessly, ”Then I’ll give it to you.”

Students can also redeem vouchers, but they must be redeemed based on their student ID cards.

One can only be redeemed for a maximum of 100,000 voucher, and Yukinoshita has already redeemed it.

So, she handed the envelope containing 10 vouchers with a face value of 10,000 to her sister.

”Then keep performing, I’ll go to watch!” Haruno cheerfully said this, then waved and left.

She came and left quickly as well.

But Hachiman was thinking.

Since this elder sister was called excellent by Yukinoshita Yukino, she naturally showed some performance.

But it is obviously abnormal for her to abandon her younger sister to go to the cultural festival.

He guessed she figured out their little secret from brochure.

It gives a map, the locations of various projects for students, and... some art exhibitions, cultural and science museums that seem worth visiting.

The final event was a theatrical performance led by Grade 1 Class A, which started at 3pm and lasted for a full hour and a half.

The brochure promoting the tour distributed to guests was indeed made by students themselves.

It was funded by Ichika’s class and planned under the leadership of senior students from Class 2-A.

Apart from the information about performances, things like art galleries that require admission are the own projects of Class 2-A.

Therefore, although Sakayanagi’s class did not have a rehearsal announcement in end, their class’s project has actually been integrated into this cultural festival.

They are not there to serve people, but to deceive and collect entrance fees.

This travel guide was not only distributed to 300 guests who came to the school, but was also distributed to staff of shopping street.

So, this is a big net set for 1,500 people.

Just collecting admission fees and cheating people out of money is enough to make Class 2-A invincible.

In other words, second-year class A harvested everyone except the students, and regarded as sales.

Sakayanagi’s attack power this time is indeed good.

”Come to think of it, your sister is really an amazing person.” Hikigaya said as he looked at Yukinoshita who seemed to be in a daze.

”Yes, my sister is amazing. Everyone who has seen her will praise her and say that she is incomparably perfect.” Look, this fan girl seemed to have come to her senses.

Then her tone became a little depressed.

Hikigaya-kun noticed her expression and said to comfort, ”If you say that you are the same as her in terms of perfection, then you are just bragging. But today I am not talking about that. I am talking about how... she is too tired. It is really tiring to live with a fake mask all the time.”

Yukinoshita’s pupils dilated slightly due to surprise, ”You have seen through. Yes, that was just my sister’s mask. She easily gained popularity. I can’t find anyone who doesn’t like her at this point.”

’Is that so? Then your sister’s communication skills are terrible. If Ichinose is a Premium, and Kushida-chan is a Pro, but Yukinoshita Haruno is a Deluxe 60+, and it’s the kind that says you can grab it, but when time comes, button is gray and doesn’t light up at all. It’s so scary. And judging from the fact that Yukinoshita Haruno can easily gain other person’s favor, she should be using different offensive tactics against people with various backgrounds....In other words, does other party think that I am an innocent high school student with high hormones, so she deliberately comes close to me? Do you think lust is my weakness? How abominable!’ Hikigaya-kun is actually a little dissatisfied.

”My elder sister is in charge of socializing and is the heir, and I am just a backup....”

When she said the word ”spare tire”, Yukinoshita’s mood should not have been so calm.

But from what this classmate Yukino said, it seems that she has a family business to inherit, and then... does she actually want to continue the job?

This made Hikigaya-kun, who wanted to be a househusband, hesitate for a moment.

Because from this perspective, ideals of the two people are compatible to some extent.

But, unfortunately.

Hikigaya-kun already has a marriage partner... and he has to choose one from three.

No other options are needed at this time.

”So which stall do you want to visit next? Even though we’re on patrol, we don’t have to follow a certain order.....”

”Are you asking me?... I don’t think there is any stall I want to go to.” Yukino said hesitantly but quickly and decisively.

Since you said that, it means there is a place you really want to go.

The school has set up a point and voucher redemption window, students and faculty are welcome to redeem them.

At the same time, students and staff are not forced to consume, only a maximum exchange limit is set.

Many students don’t have much money, so it is normal that they cannot exchange much.

What Yukino Yukinoshita Yukino just took out was a voucher worth 100,000.

That is to say, there are projects that she wants to participate in, and even...she thinks they might cost a lot of money.

Hachiman quickly browsed through the information about supplies reported by each class in office and found out there was a batch of panda dolls.

It seemed that one class was preparing to carry out celebration activities such as scooping goldfish and shooting guns.

Class D of Grade 1.

Of course, start-up capital is definitely not enough to carry out so many projects.

So, it should be Amasawa who lent the points to them.

The school provides a small amount of start-up funding, and students can contribute their own money, so points are universal, which is great.

The Class 1-D was treated as an ATM machine by schoolmate Ichika.

’And if I marry my junior Amasawa in the future, points she earns will be shared by both of us....’ Considering this, Hikigaya-kun suggested.

”Then just follow on patrol obediently.”

”....” Yukino felt his tone was very excessive, ”Understood. In order to improve efficiency, it would be faster if we split up and act separately—”

Girl seemed to have entered into work mode.

”I decided to start with Class 1-D. Their shooting project seems to include a panda doll. But I already have a panda holding bamboo, so I don’t need to spend my voucher costs or get their item.”

Then he noticed Yukinoshita-san, who was about to turn around and leave, turned back.

She stood tall and independent, raised her head slightly, looked at him, and bit her lips gently.

It seems like she wants to say something but stopped herself from saying it.

”If you want to borrow a voucher, I can lend you some.” Hikigaya-kun said sympathetically, ”The limit is up to 30,000.”

Then he saw that expression on Yukinoshita’s face seemed to become more colorful.

This girl is too easy to understand.

Hachiman even continued to insist on her previous proposal to split troops into two groups.

In order to avoid seeing Yukinoshita embarrassing herself by contributing to sales of first-year Class D, Hachiman started to work seriously.

Patrol.

Maintain order.

If there is a dispute that needs mediation, then help.

Hachiman has a secret weapon. He carried a camera with him, which was hung conspicuously around his neck.

Generally, when encountering a dispute, people take a photo first.

When people notice that someone is taking a photo, they will feel nervous if they are already guilty.

If a staff member is working in a school, he or she will be worried about the evaluation of himself or herself and will definitely slow down his or her tone.

Therefore, the efficiency of mediation is very high.
