COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

”And then... Hikigaya-senpai, you’ve actually been injured, too...even to the point of being hospitalized.”

???

For a moment, Hachiman didn’t understand what Yukino wanted to say.

”Actually...” But Yukinoshita seemed to finally have made up her mind to say something.

”Oh... I thought I was going to find you somewhere. But I just got lost and met you.” At this time, a voice came.

Although, have never heard such a sound.

Hikigaya-kun’s ability as a human observer has been activated instantly.

Because he found that expression of Yukinoshita, a classmate beside him, seemed to have frozen, as if facing a great enemy.

So did we really encounter some powerful enemy?

Hikigaya-kun looked over.

’What I saw was a very beautiful older sister-type of person. And this girl looked 70% similar to Yukinoshita Yukino....She is also very young, probably only about 2 years older than Yukinoshita...It’s really a headache.’

Hikigaya-kun thought to himself.

The tense atmosphere of this scene reminded him of when he first entered school and saw Manabu teaching his sister Horikita a lesson.

The tense atmosphere at that time was very similar to that of today.

Considering that Yukinoshita Yukino is still a younger sister.

The beautiful older sister who appeared is most likely Yukinoshita Yukino’s sister, Haruno.

Yukinoshita Haruno, this is her name, the eldest daughter of Yukinoshita family.

According to little one’s description, this sister is smooth, beautiful, cheerful, and the type that everyone loves.

She was wearing a blue off-shoulder dress, but a shawl over her shoulders, and her exposed arms looked very delicate.

The taste is also good.

When she smiles, her impact can make people’s hearts throb.

This is Haruno, the idol that Yukino dreams of becoming.

Her sister.

Hachiman also noticed that although this older sister was lost and walking over, there were several first and 3rd grade boys and girls about a hundred meters away from her.

These students did not leave, but instead headed towards Yukinoshita Haruno.

It seems this Yukinoshita Haruno also has the aura of Kushida or Ichinose, and directly fooled a large number of people.

This is a bit scary.

Hikigaya-kun finds it difficult to handle.

Perhaps they noticed that Hikigaya was looking at them, so first and 3rd grade students ran away quickly like frightened rabbits.

”….” ’It was as if I had become some kind of evil person.’ Hikigaya-kun thought to himself.

Then, he perked up and looked at this older sister who made Yukinoshita Yukino look like Manabu’s younger sister in a weakened state as soon as she appeared.

On other side, Horikita Suzune looked at the notification on her phone.

”What’s wrong?”

Manabu looked at his own sister.

Now 3 of them are enjoying in the open-air cafe project for Class 1, Grade C.

They rented a large playground area and set up parasols. Now Horikita siblings were under one of them.

The reason why Horikita Manabu chose this place was mainly because the business here was not very good, so it seemed very empty.

Then it is natural for brothers and sisters to say something.

But after all, he is the former student council president. Although people did not say it, he has already guessed that this stall project might be a special exam issued by school every month.

If it was just a simple order from the school, students would not be so active in organizing various projects.

From visitor brochure you get at the school gate, you can see there are many activities to enjoy. You can also see students from all grades trying their best to attract customers.

”Hikigaya-kun sent me a message,” Suzune answered honestly with a cold face, ”Told me to keep my distance from him today.”

It’s not like she doesn’t want to use his name directly, it’s just Suzune was used to call him by Hikigaya-kun.

In fact, she was a little surprised when she saw her brother appear just now, because she didn’t expect that he had obtained the admission ticket for this cultural festival.

But it cannot be said there is no such thing, because to be honest, the guest invitation list is random, so it is possible that she got selected randomly, after all, she is also a member of this school.

’Fortunately, I had talked with Hikigaya-kun before about how to deal with this special exam. Otherwise, if I were asked questions by my brother who suddenly appeared here, I would definitely be nervous....!’

Because today is the cultural festival, and Suzune is well aware of how bad the situation in her class is.

Hikigaya didn’t deny her answer before, which means she can pass the level.

”Is that so—” But maybe Horikita Suzune was wrong, because Manabu never learned to ask his sister if she had any growth issues.

After all, he knew very well that his sister’s growth was no longer up to her.

But Manabu frowned slightly, because judging from content of the text message sent by Hikigaya, this was a really strange request.

’Normally, couples encounter this kind of cultural festival that only happens once every ten years or so, so why not take a good look around and leave some high school memories?’ Tachibana Akane was also puzzled.

’Why would anyone remind you to keep a distance today? Could it be that... you don’t want anyone to misunderstand you? And this kind of thing... sounds like cheating. He had an inappropriate relationship with another girl behind Horikita-kun’s sister’s back, and did not expose the relationship between the two!’ Tachibana always felt something was very wrong.

But Manabu seemed to nod slightly. Then he said, ”Indeed, you are still students, and some other ideas are not appropriate. You know Hikigaya’s concept of love, right?”

”…..” Suzune ’Although I don’t know why my brother suddenly mentioned concept of love, but I really know this....’

”He thinks dating in high school is meaningless. He values end result. In other words, he thinks marriage is more important than dating. But after getting married, he wants to be a househusband. It seems that he is very opposed to working.”

”Is that so?” Manabu frowned slightly, people were confused why his words were so limited...but it’s because he was thinking deeply.

He recognized Hikigaya’s abilities, and thought that whether he chose to go into politics or work in the future, he should be very suitable.

’The other person actually wants to be a lazy stay-at-home....This is really regrettable. If this is the case, on the one hand, my sister’s future burden will be heavier, and on the other hand, it is also a pity that he has the ability but does nothing....’ However, Manabu thinks that people will change as time goes by and their experience grows.

Even if you don’t change yourself, the world will forcibly smooth out your edges.

So, maybe when he goes to college and graduates, Hikigaya will change his mind.

”…” Although it is a good thing to focus on studying while at school, Tachibana Akane always feels like something is wrong with two siblings. ’So, I was going to ask, is Hikigaya really only dating Horikita Suzune? But just as I said that, I heard voice of Horikita-kun’s younger sister.’

”Um...” Suzune raised her left hand and placed it on her chest, ”Brother, actually Hikigaya-kun bought me a place to graduate from Class A and gave me a task to collect the points before graduation....”

Saying this, she seemed a little uncomfortable, even embarrassed.

This is indeed a shameful thing.

Because you didn’t get into Class A on your own, but asked others to buy it for you?

You know, it takes 20 million points to be promoted to Class A. Giving you this many points means that you are valued very much.

If someone is willing to spend such money, obviously he will not ask you to collect the points or something like that, but other party has already tacitly agreed that he will pay for it himself.

Moreover, as former members of this school, they knew how difficult it was for one person to collect so many points.

And it was only when their class was in a crucial situation that Hikigaya Hachiman was able to help take away more than 30 million in end, and this method is difficult to replicate.

So, cost is too high and people will not cheat. That’ll be fine.

Tachibana Akane also felt relieved, knowing this type of investment in Suzune by Hikigaya, it means relationship is much better.

”.....” People were being fooled like this by vague misunderstandings one after another.
