COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Amasawa hasn’t come today either.

“I see—” The senior nodded, looked around, and found that only Hikigaya and first-year Yukinoshita were in the student council, so she added, “Then can I wait here for a while?”

“Of course you can. Senpai is also a member of student council, so of course you can stay.” Hachiman waved non-chalantly.

This Asahina-senpai bought her position after Sakayanagi came to power.

Price is 1 million private points.

Sakayanagi used this money to renovate office and divided extra money equally with him.

So in a nutshell, Asahina can be considered as his client.

Hikigaya-kun has never forgotten his roots. He will record other people’s negative information in a small notebook, but he will also record the good side of others.

Hachiman then poured water for senior, “Um, do you have anything you would like to see President Sakayanagi about today?”

In fact, he felt that if matter was easy to handle, he could just deal with it directly.

“This…We seniors will also participate in cultural and sports festival this month. But....The cultural is known to begin on 19th, and that is day campus will be open. Guests will be allowed into the school. So, I want to know the list.....” Asahina wanted to know the list of guests who were invited.

But actually wanted to confirm whether Nagumo would be...

“As Vice president, I have not received any relevant information. But wait, I will ask President.” So, Hachiman sent a message to Sakayanagi-san.

[Will you come to student council today?] by Hikigaya Hachiman.

“....” Sakayanagi.

In dormitory, this girl with short silver hair suddenly paused.

“What’s wrong? Aren’t you going out?” Kamuro-san has already changed into casual clothes and returned.

Recently, Hikigaya submitted a list of 3 good stores. ’I have tried one of them, Hikigaya, and I both think it is good. There are two others who just submitted data. Haven’t eaten it myself yet. However, this troublesome girl Sakayanagi wanted to do test herself, so she had to accompany her...’

This research was not conducted by her, which means she has no aversion to the food, so she can treat it as tasting delicious, mouth watering deluxe extra spicy, creamy...Ahem!

Look it is still Sakayanagi who pays for it, so Kamuro-san is in a good mood.

When she was changing Sakayanagi’s shoes, found that girl was staring at her phone motionlessly, “I don’t have to go to student council today, right....?”

She even asked with a confused innocent face.

“…..” Kamuro-san. ’Is it really okay for you to say something like this as student council president? Normally, you should report to office early than others!’

However, junior schoolmate Amasawa invited by Sakayanagi is indeed capable and works very fast.

According to her, she learns new things very quickly, so conventional office style is very suitable for her.

In other words, she is a genuine genius.

“What do you want to say?”

“Don’t talk yet. I am typing.”

“.....” Kamuro-san remained silent, and then watched Sakayanagi holding her phone to reply. ’It had just received a message, but it was a special note ringtone, so it could be inferred that it was a message from Hikigaya. So now you’re giving up your trip just because Hikigaya sent you a text message? Sakayanagi!’

“Hikigaya is asking me for the guest information. I haven’t received any from school yet, so I can’t get list in advance. And I just used my authority as president to ask chairman of board, and the reply I got was that list of guests would not be handed over to the student council.”

Oh...So that’s it.

This means Sakayanagi and Hikigaya are taking exam seriously.

As for Cultural festival.

There are 4 opportunities to get 300 points.

As long as project’s turnover is among the top four, it will be fine.

Although their class only scored 100 points in unanimous special exam that ended last month, this time, their class can be confirmed to have scored 300 points.

School will directly take 50% of the money, anyone who invests in it will lose....

However, Class A can afford the loss.

According to Hashimoto’s contact with Koenji, it can be almost confirmed that he has shown signs of transferring to another class.

As long as Class A can confirm that Class A will graduate, he will agree to transfer.

Class A didn’t even need to spend money to buy him over. He had already paid for the transfer.

This is really good news.

In other words, everything is moving in right direction.

The class also has plenty of points, which can be used to build and buy.

“So what’s next...?”

Since Sakayanagi and Hikigaya are talking about exams, and the questions Hikigaya asks cannot be answered, girl can only, “Let’s go back to student council. Hikigaya-kun probably isn’t the type to ask me questions in private.....Plus he has already submitted his points card today for this month’s lunch money, so he has plenty of lunch break time to ask me questions. Rather this kind of need to be asked separately. So, there is only one reason...Someone should be asking him for help now.”

President showed a very thoughtful look, then her face suddenly turned cold visible to naked eyes, “I guess it’s a woman.”

’Is that so? Then Sakayanagi, you are really a fickle...Let’s go back to work instead of eating. This behavior is more like catching an adulterer. But Sakayanagi, do you really want to see if he’s out with someone else? Won’t it be left better unknown....? Do you, as a heart patient want to get broken?’ Kamuro-san is unbelieving.

However, since she herself is also a member of council, Kamuro-san had no choice but to return to her dormitory and put her school uniform back on.

It would be very informal to wear casual clothes to Student Council.

Other side.

“Did president reply?” Asahina sat directly next to Hikigaya-kun.

Then, perhaps because distance was a little far, she deliberately moved her chair closer.

The distance between their shoulders is 20 cm, no, 18.15 cm, 10 cm.

Although she was a little worried about how guest list would be selected, and... whether Nagumo would be chosen in the end, Asahina felt that it was okay to disturb Hikigaya-kun now.

“She replied. Doesn’t know yet, but she said she will come to student council. That means she might want to help. But I suggest we do it on our own.”

“We...” Asahina thought about Hachiman’s choice of words. ’In other words, Hikigaya-kun also has someone he cares about, and he’s nervous that other person will come to the school as a guest. Is it a relative? Or a family member? Or... Could it be that Hikigaya-kun had a date in junior high school?’

The speaker may not mean it, but the listener may take it seriously.

Yukinoshita, who had never paid attention to anything that had nothing to do with her, heard two people’s gossipy conversation.

Because of the guests coming, Yukino knew very well that she would be admitted to this school and even repeat a year, which was arranged by her sister Yukinoshita Haruno.

After coming to this school and learning about its essence, the types and quality of students in each class, she can confirm that most of students were selected from beginning.

But even so, she was still able to enroll, so confirmed that although this school looks fair, there are many parts that can be manipulated and smoothed over.

Since her sister Haruno was able to arrange for her to come in, it would not be difficult for her to get a spot among 300 guests.

There is a very high possibility that her sister Yukinoshita Haruno will come as a guest on day of cultural festival.

And what kind of answer sheet should she submit to her sister to make her confirm that she has indeed made progress?

When Yukino was about to make up her mind, she found that Hikigaya-senpai and Asahina-senpai, who were just here, had left.

“Yukinoshita-san, you’re the only one here.”

At this time, a voice came from outside, and a cute girl with purple twin ponytails walked in from main entrance of Student council.

It’s her classmate Amasawa Ichika.

She is also secretary of student council and usually takes over work of President Sakayanagi.

“I don’t know why President Sakayanagi suddenly told me not to come to student council today. It seems that she is preparing to work on her own. But I always felt something was wrong, so I came anyway. Let me guess, Hikigaya-senpai is going on patrol with President Sakayanagi today?”

Ichika went even closer to this cold beauty’s face who is sitting alone in a daze.

“No.” However, Yukinoshita didn’t pay attention to her little movements at all, even treating Ichika like air, “The president hasn’t come yet, but Hikigaya-senpai and 3rd-year Asahina-senpai went to see Chairman together.....”

’Is that so? If he’s not with Sakayanagi then everything will be fine!’ Ichika has been tracking President’s whereabouts during this period, analyzing and understanding Sakayanagi-senpai’s affairs.

Even borrowing books that other person has borrowed.

After all, when you are invited or even promised a job by the other party, as a subordinate, you must confirm all aspects of boss’s character.

She discovered something interesting.

’That is President Sakayanagi. It’s spring. Of course, this word is not accurate or polite. It should be said that one is falling in pure love. You also like to watch stories related to love, especially those with a sense of fate and a happy ending for both parties....!’
