COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

This man is Ayanokoji Atsuomi.

A man who started from a grassroots background and whose family members were ordinary people for more than 3 generations.

When he was young, even worked as a gigolo, but now he has climbed to a position that most people cannot reach.

This time, other party offered a very important resource as a condition of the transaction and wanted to borrow his position as Chairman of board of directors of Advanced Nurturing High School for a period of time.

The theory is that organization that is opposite of Advanced Nurturing High School, White Room’s masterpiece, Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, has some shortcomings, and hopes to improve through coming here.

Become strongest in true sense.

When White Room was established, Sakayanagi Narumori was a partner of Ayanokoji Atsuomi and brought in funds for other party.

But they separated halfway through, and Mr. Sakayanagi continued to join Prime Minister Kijima’s camp.

Then, even now, two are in different camps.

But Narumori knew that Ayanokoji Atsuomi had his own ambitions.

White Room was abandoned for a time, but was secretly stopped by Ayanokuji Atsuomi’s persistence, and finally it was able to continue to exist and become the trump card in hand.

“Ayanokoji-sensei, do you still want to pursue your ambition?”

He knew other party’s ambition and wanted to run for election and reach that position.

However, this time’s resource transaction has left other party with no chance to move forward.

“My ideal has never changed. I want to influence this country and bring revolution. I may not be able to do it,  but Ayanokoji Kiyotaka can. He is my most successful creation.”

Works..not a son or an heir but a tool.

“Then I wish you success.”

Easily walked out of the apartment.

Although it is a bit regrettable, seems reasonable that Ayanokoji, the child, has flaws even if he is White Room’s greatest masterpiece.

The other person did not grow up in an environment of love at all.

However, Chairman Sakayanagi remained relaxed. On the one hand, he believed that Ayanokoji came to Advanced Nurturing High School in the hope of gaining a certain degree of freedom.

Therefore, as long as he can return to the position of chairman, he can continue to provide some help to this student.

Give other person more freedom.

Moreover, now that he can go back, it means that Ayanokoji’s flaws have been dealt with.

So, have some mixed feelings.

As Chairman of the board, he cannot just focus on one student, so during the few months he is away, he should just watch how children develop.

Then, back at school, first thing that Chairman Sakayanagi was told was... that there had been problems with school’s budget, and that students now had a large amount of points in their hands.

“….”

’So, Mr. Tsukishiro didn’t leave because they completed the mission, but had to withdraw because they made a serious mistake?’

xxxxx

Five o’clock in afternoon.

Hikigaya-kun arrived at second-year classroom building.

Today is Thursday, although there are no classes today due to a special exam this month.

But will study as usual tomorrow.

So, Hachiman honestly updated class evaluation scores of the four.

According to practice of Horikita-nii’s student council in the past, when announcing evaluation scores, it was basically like Class A got XX points, Class B got XX points.

Now what Hachiman wrote is

Grade 2

Class A (President Sakayanagi) 1920

Class B (??? Ichinose) 1558.1

Class C (Ryuen-chan) 1225

Class D (Icy Angel) 1055.7

Obviously, Sakayanagi’s council is more humane and detailed.

But... Ichinose’s position? Can someone remind me what is was if you remember? I forgot...

It is not known whether information of senior class representatives was exposed intentionally and then first graders were allowed to contact them.

Brush, brush, brush.

Hachiman updated numbers on the small blackboard.

“You’re still here to work so late.” A tall lady in high heels came down stairs of the teaching building.

The other party is homeroom teacher, Chabashira-sensei. And now, she took initiative to talk to him.

“After all, I am now a member of the student council and I also receive living allowance from office, so I have to work. That’s the frustration of being a student council member.” Hikigaya said, waving his hand in a casual manner.

hehe~

These words made Chabashira smile, because when she was watering the flowers in bed and met Hikigaya, she responded to him in same way.

Being a corporate slave has many frustrations.

“If you can get used to the feeling of working now...” Chabashira feels it’s a pity that Hikigaya-kun is just a househusband.

If you can go into business or politics, will have good development.

“That’s not necessary. Because I just experienced what it’s like to go to work, so I hate going to work, and I don’t want to go to work in the future.”

’Is that so? Emphasis on “work” Then you really haven’t changed your original intention....’ Chabashira realised with her broad dumplings, above her fingers, “But...this exam...”

“Um...Sensei, are you still obsessed with the past?”

But Chabashira shook her head slightly, her ponytail swaying more than usual, “After teaching this class, I will leave school.”

“So where are you going in the future?”

“Not yet decided. But I like cooking. So maybe I’d like to open my own restaurant. And these are the little cookies I made.” Chabashira even took out a sealed bag of pancakes from her pocket.

Hachiman was not polite. ’I took it, opened the seal, and bit into fragrant cookie. I immediately felt full.’

’Um...This craft...You are the same as Horikita-san. They are all good at cooking. This kind of skill should be very popular when selling food. Um?’ Hachiman suddenly thought of something, that is, Suzune’s family runs a restaurant, brother is going to go into politics, and sister is going to study medicine.

So, no one to manage her store.

But now, Chabashira-sensei seems to be interested in cooking and being a professional chef....

It seems as if there is a way to achieve a situation that everyone can accept.

“The atmosphere is really good. It seems I came at the wrong time.” At this time, a middle-aged man’s voice came from side.

If you turn your head slightly, you can see owner of the sound. He is a man with deep nasolabial folds, a smiling face, and his eyes narrowed into a line.

The other person was wearing a brown suit and looked quite socially experienced.

This man is everyone’s acquaintance, Acting chairman Tsukishiro.

He was also chief examiner of special examination that just ended, “Hikigaya-kun, have you updated the test data? It is indeed an amazing result.....”

Hachiman shook his head, “I feel bad about withdrawing friends from the class to exchange for points.”

“.....” These words made Tsukishiro unable to help but look at Hikigaya-kun a few more times.

’Although you say you care about your so called “friends” but you don’t have a conscience, right? Because if you really care about the friendship with your fellows, you wouldn’t just drop out and end the exam.’ Tsukishiro thought rudely in his heart, but kept a smile on his face.

The exam is over, so it doesn’t matter what results are. Because his mission was accomplished.

Now it’s almost time to leave, but before leaving, one last thing to deal with, “I received news that I will leave this weekend. But, there is one last thing I need to explain.”

“....oh?” Hikigaya-kun looked at Chabashira with his eyes

“As you wish.” Look, Sae-chan then took initiative to walk aside as if to avoid suspicion.

But Tsukishiro shook his head. It doesn’t seem like he’s ready to speak here, “I have an appointment. And the matter we need to deal with now is also related to other party.”

Is that so?

People related to Tsukishiro.

Hachiman followed him towards the shopping street and finally stopped in a private room of a steak restaurant.

Just standing at the door, saw a girl with cute purple twin ponytails walking out of store.

This girl with cute purple twin ponytails directly hugged Hikigaya’s left arm.

Looks quite intimate.

“Senpai looked weird....I say, it feels like you graduated early.”

“No, it’s just your illusion.”

Mr. Tsukishiro politely looked away, and at the same time thought that Hikigaya-kun was really lucky.

’You can get all kinds of favors. Youth is really good. Originally, I thought that other party must be Chairman Sakayanagi’s son-in-law, so it would be a good choice to establish a good relationship with family. But, he seems to have another choice.’

“The day before yesterday. President Amasawa’s family had a car accident,” Tsukishiro gave such tragic news with an uncle like smile on his face, which makes people doubt your motives, so he hurriedly changed his attitude, “Nothing serious happened though.”

“But President Amasawa only has one son. That’s why, he contacted White Room and seemed to want to take Amasawa Ichika back home to prevent any accidents and situation where there is no one to take over the family.”

That’s a pity.

Oh no....wait a moment.

Hikigaya-kun discovered.

’Will this junior with a miserable life have a home? As I was thinking, I saw Amasawa change her suspicious gaze from my side and look over Tsukishiro’s....’

The two sides have some intersection.

“As I said before, President Amasawa was prepared to not ever reveal or even recognise your existence as an illegitimate daughter. However, because of this car accident, let him rethink. If you agree, Amasawa Ichika, then you will return to his family. Of course, we will respect your opinion.”

In other words, let’s respect Amasawa Ichika’s decision for now.

“My choice--” She was unusually serious for a moment now.
