COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

“100 points. Your score is 100 points. Result of this exam is reasonable for your class, but.”

Hands on his pocket, turned to look down at.....

“Sakayanagi, I was expecting you to bring your class to 3,000 or even 4,000 points this year, but now it seems you only got 100 points in this exam.”

“I’m disappointed.”

As he was saying this, elevator reached the boys’ floor and Hachiman walked out, leaving behind Princess Sakayanagi and her new puppy.

“President Sakayanagi.” Looking at the closed elevator door, Morishita felt somewhat dissatisfied.

’Because this Hikigaya Hachiman went a little too far and actually used a taunting skill on Sakayanagi Arisu. This time, exam was clearly the most reassuring result for everyone, but was he still dissatisfied? Then choice...someone had to drop out.’

“Don’t talk now.” But Arisu said coldly.

So, Morishita-san had no choice but to keep quiet.

Sakayanagi was thinking.

’From what Hikigaya-kun just said, it seemed that he had expectations for me and then was disappointed. In other words, was he actually expecting me to get a good score in this exam? Or say. He is now giving me a task. Test whether I can get 3000 or 4000 class evaluation points. If I did, would he fight me again?’

Sakayanagi doesn’t hate challenges.

’But I always feel that if I really do this according to Hikigaya-kun’s request, it will become very cheap. So was this a task or a condition given by other party, or... just a simple complaint, or did he think there was a big problem with my performance in exam this time? Or maybe he was hoping I could become stronger? Rather than being stuck in the current status quo. Didn’t it meet his expectations?’

Thinking of this, Sakayanagi-san’s adorable eyebrows curved. And this scene fell into eyes of Morishita.

’Sakayanagi Arisu must be thinking about something very complicated. It must be something I, with my poor brain, cannot think of.’ Morishita thought to herself like a weirdo, ’It must be something like battle strategy for the next exam.’

Morishita is not Kamuro-san.

If it were Kamuro-san, she would definitely be secretly complaining in her heart that Sakayanagi is hopeless again.

’As a class representative, can you please stand up a little more and stop being so lovesick all the time? Love makes people stupid, and the person you fall in love with becomes your weakness. So, this way your weaknesses will become more and more obvious. Sakayanagi! If this continues, won’t we all just have to pool our money together and buy Hikigaya over when he’s in 3rd grade? If 20 million points are divided equally, I will have to pay 500,000 points, and this amount will be used to pay for Sakayanagi’s love brain..It’s just extremely frustrating! Why do we all have to spend money to fulfill your wishes when everyone is nervously facing various special exams?’

Fortunately, Kamuro-san is not here right now, so I don’t have to experience this terrible feeling.

Other side.

There is another class taking an exam as well.

That is second-year class B, formerly known as class D, Suzune.

Their special examination of unanimity continued. But Hachiman wasn’t particularly worried.

Because he has given some instructions to those who need to pay attention.

That is it.

Koenji will definitely leave the class like him, so if he is forced into a hurry in this exam, should not get involved.

He might launch a pretty fierce counterattack.

Do not be afraid.

Will Koenji’s Rokusuke Alumini Association be forced into a corner?

Because today’s topic progressed quite smoothly. Now, let’s see what’s happening over there, shall we?

xxxxxx

Koenji Rokusuke has always been a loner.

Although he has made many contributions to class, also very clear that people around have mental disorders.

Then, yesterday, Chabashira-sensei announced a unanimous special exam.

This kind of exam, which all students have the right to decide, makes people feel uncomfortable.

Because some people may not be able to understand it.

Even prediction is difficult.

When came to the classroom today, the atmosphere was a bit strange.

Because of this exam, could still see some students in class yesterday worrying about whether a unified exam would be difficult, and some wanted to drop others out.

Today is special exam time, and Koenji has been at his seat for 10 minutes, but students have not discussed expulsion.

These random guys doesn’t look like afraid of dropping out of school at all.

At the same time, Koenji noticed that several students seemed to be looking at him in.... ways.

Hikigaya-kun used to belong to this class, but he has left.

However, relationships that he had built up remained.

This kind of exam, which is unanimous among all candidates, was announced yesterday and will be conducted today.

It is simple in terms of rules, but it also carries a risk factor.

That is, might be a repeat of last year’s in-class voting to drop out of school exam.

So risk of dropping out should be 99%.

After new chairman took office, there were quite a few dropouts. Moreover, after exam on the uninhabited island, Tsukishiro found Koenji alone and hoped that he would pay 20 million points in advance to skip a class.

Then offers will be made.

There is no doubt this is an illegal operation.

According to views of Koenji.

’Acting Chairman Tsukishiro is either short of money or wants to run away. No matter which one it is, becomes very important to recover negative impact brought about by his previous hosting of exams. This voting will undoubtedly involve questions related to expulsion. Reclaim the various protection titles delegated.’

This is Koenji’s way of thinking.

Koenji is only son of his Chaebol. At least, that’s what he thought so.

He received special elite education at a very young age. Two years before entering school, he founded his own company and made tens of millions through his own operations to complete task given by his Father.

’But look at it from the perspective of a company leader. Although school’s operating model has financial support, there is also a balance. They will not delegate too much benefit to students. If given, it will definitely be taken back.’

This is also reason why he abides by rules of this school, obtains points through legitimate class evaluation scores, and does not bring any funds into the school.

Instead, he writes IOUs to people who trust him and are willing to do business with him, collect points from them, and then contact again after leaving school.

”Well, everyone.”

There are still 15 minutes until exam starts at 10 o’clock.

The sunny boy, Hirata, who was like a warm spring breeze, stood at the podium.

He had been working hard to maintain cohesion of the class and to mediate various problems among students.

Ever since Yamauchi dropout incident last year, Hirata’s image has collapsed. Of course, maybe that’s his true side.

Koenji also does not believe that people are absolutely good or evil.

So Hirata had such a past, so he wanted to be kind to others. It was like self-salvation, but Koenji did not deny Hirata’s efforts, and that he was probably the only one who hoped that this class could continue to become better after Hikigaya left.

He can’t do it.

Yes. Can’t do it.

Koenji is very sure.

“There will be an exam soon. But according to our previous experience, every special exam will be accompanied by a penalty related to expulsion. So let’s make an agreement in advance. If the time really comes when you have to make a choice, then choose someone publicly that everyone can accept.”

Um....???

Koenji was looking at his appearance in the mirror and thought he looked very beautiful today.

But he felt that today’s Hirata was also somewhat related to beauty.

’Because if it was the previous Hirata-boy, he would definitely hope to gather 20 million points to insure someone, no matter who it was, no matter whether it was a useful or trash person, instead of current one... Preparations had been made before the option of dropping out appeared. It seems that stubborn Hirata-boy has also changed.’

’Congratulations, you have gained my recognition. I might choose to hire you! Although he acted very harmoniously, was also decisive enough to give up. If Hirata-boy has nowhere to go after graduation, then recruit him as a small manager.’ Koenji Rokusuke beautifully thought to himself.

In this case, it is inevitable that some people will drop out. Requires careful consideration as to who will be expelled.

According to normal thinking, if you choose to expel students with poor performance, then new OAA system is a reliable standard.

But students in this class are quite unique, those ranked at bottom almost all stick together.

Seven or eight in total.

So when Hirata-kun opened his mouth, these seven or eight students, who were worried about their own safety, immediately became nervous...

But no, according to Koenji’s observation, these students were not nervous.

So it means these people don’t think they are dangerous.

Because if someone really wants to drop out and leave the class, it will definitely be stressful, but.

There is a special student in this class now. Even if he is voted out of school, there will be no shortage of people.

Because this person is him, Koenji Rokusuke.

Possess title of dropout protection.

So, even though Hirata-kun said that some people have decided to drop out, everyone else thinks they can choose him, Koenji Rokusuke.

’Eh. These mortals’ thoughts are really annoying.’ Koenji was really irked by these people’s bravery.
