COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

It can be said that although there are many girls around Hikigaya-senpai, if you really calculate the threat, Ichika has always thought her only opponent is Sakayanagi-san.

So, isn’t President Sakayanagi here at this time?

”Do you want to have breakfast?” Hey, Hikigaya-senpai pushed the door open from outside the student council.

Brought some breakfast with him.

Judging from his appearance, he should have gone to eat by himself and then thought of other people in the student council.

So, brought some food here specially.

Now that Hikigaya-senpai is here, there will be no problem.

Other side.

”Ka-ka—”

The time in morning is 8:50.

The school gate of Advanced Nurturing High School was opened by the staff.

A large number of guests have gathered outside the school.

Because invitation letter sent to them by school stated they should enter at 9 o’clock, and most people have indeed arrived by now.

”It feels like a lot of time has passed.” A girl with purple hair got off the bus with Horikita Manabu and Hikigaya Komachi.

Considering that Komachi is only a junior high school student, they drove to Hikigaya’s house early in morning and picked her up.

Then, plan to send Komachi back when event is over.

Left in March, and it’s only September now, but it feels like a lifetime ago.

Horikita Manabu and Tachibana Akane noticed there were several students standing at school gate, and the other were standing around a silver-haired girl in a circle.

The girl seemed to be in poor health and was holding a cane.

But she has a very generous temperament and is super cute.

This was Komachi’s first thought when she saw the other person.

’Lolita’s are really cute....’ While thinking this, Komachi noticed that super cute silver-haired girl was walking towards them.

”Welcome back to Advanced Nurturing High School,” by super cute silver-haired Loli with a cane in the lead in Komachi’s mind, ”Former student council president.”

”Yeah.” Horikita Manabu pushed up his glasses, ”It seems like you did a good job, Sakayanagi.”

”So, the former president wants student council to help him visit cultural festival this time? I brought some people with me, and can arrange for them to follow your orders.”

”No need for that. I am just a guest now.”

”Is that so? Then I won’t disturb your enjoyment of sightseeing.” Sakayanagi immediately turned around and left.

’Uh....Can this be called rude?’ Komachi was thinking about this girl’s social behaviour.

Holding the cane, Sakayanagi walked away politely okay? and gracefully, and the puppies beside her naturally followed.

But Sakayanagi quickly asked Hashimoto, Morishita Ai and others to perform their respective duties.

Only Kamuro-san was heading late towards her with a frown, after watching interaction, ”Sakayanagi, where did you run off to?”

”...I mean, what are you talking about Kamuro-san? Didn’t I tell you we were going to meet former student council President?”

”No, you were having fun around at the stalls. Then got lost.” But, Kamuro-san was very straightforward about her motives, and not being falsified like this.

Didn’t even care about Sakayanagi losing any face....

”...So, did you take the photo just now? In addition to former student council president Horikita and his secretary Akane Tachibana, they also brought a girl with a hairy head. Although I’m not sure, don’t you think she looks a bit like someone?”

’Oh...did you get info about Hikigaya, so you came here?’ Kamuro-san was very suspicious regarding her visit to Manabu.

”It seems that guest of Hikigaya family’s visit to school this time should be his sister. And Kamuro-san, you should have taken her photo by now, right? Send it to all the puppies. I want to confirm her movements in school and find her at any time.”

...ah?

However, Kamuro-san finally relaxed her confusion. Because, it’s confirmed Sakayanagi had other intentions than drinking and greeting FSCP.

It’s not at all about meeting the former student council president or showing the succession of the old and new student council presidents.

Instead, you should go and check and confirm the people coming from the Hikigaya family yourself.

”I think that girl...just called her classmates as puppies, right?”

”.....” Watching Sakayanagi’s receding back, Horikita Manabu pushed up his glasses.

Then, perhaps noticing there was a new person at scene, Horikita Manabu introduced her, ”The one just now is student council president of this school, Arisu Sakayanagi. I used to be student council president of this school as well. So she can be considered my successor.”

Even though he said that, even Horikita Manabu shook his head.

Because a successor is generally someone appointed by the previous leader or inherits ideas and thoughts.

But unfortunately. No matter which point it is, definitely not.

Arisu Sakayanagi obtained the position of student council president through her own manipulation, while completely ignoring his ideals.

Although he still had some concerns about the students, Manabu was no longer a student of this school and could do nothing about it.

Even if he return to school now, can only be a visitor.

For a moment, Manabu had mixed feelings.

”She’s actually the student council president? Lolita’s are really cute...” Komachi commented at this time.

Two people choked.

”Cough....” Is it cute? Even Tachibana was very conflicted in her heart, but it’s okay, you know...she too herself.

This is same as her brother’s first impression of Sakayanagi Arisu.

Surrounded by the crowd, Arisu was like a moon surrounded by stars, with a bunch of flatterers around her, but she maintained a polite and decent smile, coupled with her attractive appearance.

It was indeed impressive.

”If you simply think Sakayanagi-san is cute loli, you’ll be at a disadvantage.” Tachibana took upon herself to teach this junior.

Because the first step that Sakayanagi took in becoming student council president was to destroy school’s conventional test papers that tested old questions, and then use it as a threat to make 3rd-year students bow their heads.

So to speak.

Even as a former 3rd-year student, Tachibana still has a psychological trauma towards this Sakayanagi-san.

However, Horikita Manabu probably had no intention of mentioning Sakayanagi any further.

He just introduced her information to Komachi and then got down to business.

Started to tour the campus with junior.

Of course, they would do this, mainly because they found there was a problem with entrance visit brochure distributed to students after they entered the school.

The manual comes with a marked map guide.

It also indicates which areas have which projects. It looks very convenient.

However, as a graduate, Horikita Manabu knew very well that this was not work of the school, but someone else.

So, there are a lot of contraband smuggled in.

For example, designated activities were also added in. It was just to make guests be taken advantage of.

At the same time, map in park visitor brochure is not comprehensive.

So Horikita Manabu felt that he had to act as a guide, and then he had to let Komachi arrange her own time.

Hikigaya Komachi followed them here, she must be... eager to see her brother.

Manabu is actually a sentimental person.

The student council president was busy having fun, while other members were in office working their ass off.

Although Hikigaya-kun brought two breakfasts, in the end, only honest Katsuragi ate them.

He needs to go on patrol and then be in charge of his class’s projects.

Very busy. He couldn’t even find time to eat breakfast, so Hikigaya was able to pack it up for him, which really helped him a lot.

After breakfast, Katsuragi went in a hurry.

Watching this guy trotting away, Hikigaya-kun felt a little embarrassed, ”Then I will also be patrolling the campus to maintain order in the projects of each class.....”

Because performance was in the afternoon and there were no further rehearsals scheduled, Hikigaya-kun had plenty of time.

He didn’t even participate in his own class’s project.

So it seems very empty, and you can even go there as a guest to contribute to sales of other classes and projects.

He felt a little embarrassed for being so lazy.

That’s why Hachiman prepared to fulfill his duties as a student council member. ’I learned from Kamuro-san that she had obtained points of personal sponsorship from Sakayanagi and arranged for personnel to maintain order....However, the arranged were basically students with few points, in other words, members of a temporary organization. These members also have their own classes and projects. Therefore, when encountering these problems, it is hard to say whether these students who maintain order can be fair....That is to say, supervision is still needed.’

The main reason is that Hikigaya Hachiman is still a little hesitant.

Because he can confirm that off-campus guests this time are the parents of students in Class A or Class B who may graduate in the future to represent school’s reputation, and have nothing to do with C and D.

Then his younger sister Komachi, boy who used to be in Class D and is now in Class C, should not come to this school.

Among students in Class AB that Hachiman knows, Ichika has no family members in the first year, so he won’t have to worry about meeting her family members for the time being, while Sakayanagi has...

As for Asahina-senpai from Class 3-A, well... it’s already been confirmed that Nagumo won’t be coming, so everyone is happy.

It should be noted that a family member may come.

They are family of Ichinose Honami, class monitor of 2-B.

Shit....

This school puts strength first, and if family members are chosen, it would be outrageous not to pick a representative from a class.

Therefore, both Hachiman and Ichinose felt that... her mother might come.

The Ichinose family is very poor and is a single-parent income, but everyone works very hard.

During rumor incident involving Ichinose, Hikigaya-kun lent a helping hand to Ichinose and also made an agreement with her.

Get married when you graduate.
