COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

“If we choose option one, then will be some problems for our class. First of all, 98-point evaluation score belongs to Hikigaya’s agreement. And the school takes our living expenses without caring who we owe them to. So points for this part, and for everyone’s loss, Kushida-san, Horikita-san, and some other people. I’ll be in charge of coordination. Although this school is closed, it is not completely cut off from contact with the outside world. Last year, Hirata left school. So, it’s also possible to bring in external funds. I will take cash from outside world, and then exchange it for points with school, and pay the overdue Hikigaya, Horikita-san, and Kushida-san.”

“• ?” No one reacted for a moment.

But Kanzaki added more words to increase chapter length, “My family is actually quite well off, and I have several million in cash. So I support Ichinose’s fair choice, option one. I’ll find a way to deal with insufficient points.”

“No way!”

“Kanzaki-kun, how could you do this?”

“Is there such a thing? Are you a secret prince?!”

“I suddenly realised Kanzaki-kun is very handsome!”

The students finally reacted, even some gold diggers who kept to themselves or make contact with Koenji in a caffe opened their mouths.

Kanzaki-kun is using his own personal treasury, and is using cash from the outside world to fill it!

Shibata-kun was also surprised.

Because when he was on uninhabited island before, witnessed shady transaction between first-year Class D teacher and Chairman, which almost broke his mentality.

He was even scared by his junior classmate Yagami. It was not until appearance of Kanzaki that he found stability in life.

But he also learned that Kanzaki’s identity was very extraordinary, he was a rich young man.

Different from him.

But he wanted to protect Kanzaki’s identity, but...is he now starting to self-destruct?

“I don’t think it’s a good idea to ask Kanzaki-kun to pay for it himself!” It also goes against Ichinose’s principles to bring more people into her group.

Also refused fiercely!

’Because Kanzaki-kun is going to use his own personal treasury. Several million is not a small amount of money. Even though it might be just a small amount for him, not his responsibility. Hikigaya-kun refused my offer to lend me money, and I knew this was because he felt that my class’s behavior of not giving up on any of their companions was a bottomless pit. But now if Kanzaki-kun has entered this bottomless pit, then we can avoid it this time, but what about next? Do you want him to pay more money? This kind of thing cannot and should not be done!’

“I’m just lending it to you first. You can return it to me when you get points or even graduate.”

After graduation?

If I can pay it back after graduation, then it seems like the pressure is reduced all of a sudden.

“Well then.” Kanzaki-kun looked at Ms. Hoshinomiya before Ichinose could continue to refute him, “Sensei, will the school allow me to do this?”

“….” Chie.

The main reason why Hoshinomiya became a teacher at Advanced Nurturing High School was because of Chabashira.

She was extremely unhappy because Chabashira had betrayed her, and she also resented for ruining her future development path.

So seeing Chabashira come back here to teach, girl also came back!

Because of this idea, she has never taken the job of class teacher seriously.

’Seeing these children’s performance today, I was somewhat infected. So if Kanzaki-kun can’t come up with that many points, I can provide a small donation of one or two million, as long as these children pay back after graduation. Sae-chan must have violated the rules, otherwise why would she need to send a photo of her in a maid outfit to Hikigaya-kun? Therefore, it’s okay for me to break rules for the sake of good kids in my class!’

“According to authority I know, Kanzaki-kun’s operation has never been seen before. But, I told you earlier, in this school, strength and points are paramount. As long as you can think of it, you can buy it with points. And the reason you can’t buy it is that points you paid are not enough.”

In other words, you can use points to buy this plan for foreign capital to enter market.

Kanzaki-kun breathed a sigh of relief.

“So that’s probably it. Everyone, please choose option one.”

“But Kanzaki-kun—” Ichinose wanted to say something else.

“I will only bring 13 million points, won’t give any more than that.”

In other words, himself knows bottom line.

“Ichinose.” Shibata-kun also looked at her at this time, “I agree with Kanzaki’s approach. After all, everyone wants our class to be better.”

Shibata-kun has already prepared himself to be expelled from school.

So now when he sees that Kanzaki has made such sacrifices. He suddenly felt a little guilty, because it must have been him who told Kanzaki that he was going to drop out of school, which led to his overreaction.

But he didn’t actually want Kanzaki to pay all these costs.

But since he did this, all Shibata could do was to ensure his efforts would not go to waste.

Won’t let Kanzaki-san pay for it later.

Because if there is a project of dropping out, then he will take the responsibility.

Therefore, Ichinose will not spend the points she has on hand, so will not be in debt.

At the same time, he can pay Hikigaya’s points for next six months, and remaining part can be divided equally among everyone to maintain living expenses.

Everything will be fine.

After being stuck on third question for 40 minutes, Ichinose’s class finally reached fourth.

About the written test. The difficulty is increased, rewards are reduced, and the penalties are increased.

It seems there are only disadvantages.

So first round of negotiations was carried out due to inconsistent results, and ultimately all employees chose to reduce their pay.

Then, finally came to 5th question.

Let a classmate drop out of school, and you can get 200 points in class evaluation.

Options for and against

Note: 1 If all votes agree, students to be withdrawn will be designated and voted on.

Bla..Bla...Bla

“…”

The moment they saw question, Kanzaki-kun and Shibata both breathed a sigh of relief.

Shibata was prepared to drop out of school...but for this question...he checked it carefully three times, and then looked through notes carefully.

It seemed that he didn’t have to drop out of school.

And if no one needs to drop out, then Ichinose will keep points.

Everyone’s option in question 3 is a big win!

Students POV

Because I had no debt, I only had to pay for six months of living expenses, and got the protection of being exempted from expulsion from school for three of my classmates.

It can be seen that not only Shibata, but many students have happy expressions on their faces.

If I wasn’t still taking an exam, I would definitely say, Kanzaki, your suggestion just now is very good!

Everyone got best value for money.

But I am still taking exam.

3rd POV

Hoshinomiya-sensei performs her duties, “Then proceed to first round of selection.

“The selected time is 60 seconds. Result of first round was 1 in favor and 39 against. Since everyone cannot agree, we will enter the 10-minute discussion period.”

“…”

???

Why would anyone choose to have someone drop out of school?

But it shouldn’t matter.

Because someone must have pressed the wrong just now. Students in Ichinose’s class were in a relaxed mood.

“Ichinose, we really got the third question right! And there’s no need for Kanzaki-kun to bring in funds!”

Boys and Girls chatted happily.

Shibata-kun also breathed a sigh of relief. Because he had just prepared to drop out of school.

Avoided.

Although he is determined, he still likes this group, so being able to work hard together until graduation must be more attractive to him.

Ten minutes passed in a flash.

“Then let’s continue with exam. 2nd round of voting begins.”

From clock hanging on the wall, they could see you were now on fifth question and had already spent one hour and fifty minutes on it.

But it doesn’t matter.

70 minutes left. It will be integrated very quickly.

The test questions are so similar to Hoshinomiya’s class, but students now are all good kids.

’But this is probably where we can go at most. These children probably didn’t seize opportunity. If you choose not to drop out, you will only be rewarded with 100 points of class evaluation score for completing the subject within specified time. If other classes are ruthless enough, they can get 400 points! How many times in exams will you encounter such an opportunity to create a gap of 400 points just by your own class’s efforts without competing with others? Therefore, in this opportunity to increase score, Ichinose, Kanzaki and others just carried out the plan of not losing any of their companions, which is a bit regrettable! As a teacher, your evaluation won’t be that good! I am sorry to say, but won’t be able to graduate as Class A....’

“...Result of second round was 1 in favor and 39 against. Since everyone cannot agree, we will enter 10-minute discussion period.”

“….”

“• ? •”

It was like a person suddenly encountering a demon who can use Moon Breathing!
