Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Capítulo 1414: Chapter 1204: The Little Fairy Queen Still Came

Standing on the floating castle, Hill watched the black-haired, yellow-skinned humans moving about on the Shoulong merchant ships and gently smiled.

He seemed to feel a tenuous connection completely break at that moment.

He hadn’t realized that his trip to the Suolong Continent had drawn the attention of the Heavenly Court.

Perhaps Hill’s way of doing things is somewhat like those sages of the Heavenly Court who wander the world helping mortals?

But since Hill had no interest in anything related to Shoulong, that small connection naturally faded away.

Toril indeed belongs to the world of deities; even a one-sided interest can trigger a causal link.

Fortunately, Hill had never wavered in his resolve to leave this world, regardless of any person or event.

He silently returned to his study, reviewing his interpersonal connections over the years bit by bit, to confirm if there was anything he overlooked yet had ties to.

Fortunately, he easily let go of the pen in his hand, and looking at the complicated relationship diagram on the paper, he smiled slightly: indeed, trade is the best means of communication.

Everything Hill gained in Toril was either self-produced or bought.

And his relationships were never one-sided; even his magic book was a result of giving first and receiving reciprocation afterwards.

An arrangement like this, even if AO were shameless, he wouldn’t dare count it among free gifts.

As for Purwell, it doesn’t belong to Toril… only Toril owes him.

It’s just that this race naturally doesn’t understand revenge, and at most, the entire Otherworldly Whale species would avoid a world that has tricked more than one of their kind.

Hill tilted his head in thought for a moment, deciding to take this opportunity to craft a few sets of premium jewelry.

Although this gold would eventually be left in the mountain belly, waiting for Hill to return someday, it held no real value for him… he simply enjoyed the feeling of running a shop and earning money from the Undead Tribe.

This gave him a peculiar sense of involvement… Hill was actually grateful for the existence of the Undead Tribe, ensuring he would never forget his past self.

At least the current Hill didn’t want to be just Hill of Teraxil.

Hill’s days passed swiftly in this hands-on crafting manner, until Oberon, who had rebuilt a Shady Palace in Neverwinter Forest, finally faced a crazed attack from… whether it was an ex-wife or a separated partner… Queen Titania.

Oberon had been in such haste to finish his royal palace, even at the cost of divine power to fill in the dense crevices in the center of Neverwinter Forest, all for the Midsummer that the little fairies cherished the most.

As long as he and his family held a Midsummer event here, it would declare his independent life had truly begun, to all little fairies… even to those beyond Toril.

Titania is merely the Little Fairy Queen of Toril… the power of the Shady Royal Court can’t extend to other universes, but any world tied to Toril that also bears little fairies still regards her as their queen, and in terms of power, none are quite her equal, especially after gaining the Fairy Throne that funnels the powers of the Fairy Queen from a good relationship with the Elves.

And little fairies are highly envious creatures.

So, Titania absolutely could not tolerate becoming a joke in the multiverse, after being envied and worshipped.

Little fairies hold nobility in the highest esteem, and the queen is the most revered being!

Yet, though she was the strongest and most envied, not only had she a rebellious daughter who successfully split the Little Fairy Kingdom, even her King’s Consort, suppressed for tens of thousands of years, dared to leave!

This time, Titania truly poured all her forces from the Shady Royal Court into it, short of moving her Divine Kingdom back to Toril!

It’s not that she didn’t want to, but she simply couldn’t.

Her success back then was due to the help of the Elven Pantheon, but now, with the Father of Elves and the Queen leading the charge towards Mark City, even if the most rebellious God of Mischief among the elves didn’t care about Lord Agleya’s status, helping her amidst a God System war was impossible.

The Tiger Goddess and Bear God originally wanted to help… provided that they would only assist in capturing Oberon, and if Lord Agleya appeared, Titania would face him alone.

Even this little bit of help required Titania to part with two hundred jars of fairy princess brewed honey!

These were enormous jars sizable enough for the Bearfolk to lift with their claws!

Though there were plenty of Little Fairy Princesses, crafting honey with nature’s purest force was no easy feat!

Nonetheless, Titania could only agree through gritted teeth… the strongest forces in the Little Fairy Kingdom were Oberon and the Swan Fairy.

The other being, the Pegasus God Echtertien, staunchly refused to oppose the elves… while still unclear about Lord Agleya’s status, his descent from Coron was beyond dispute.

That damned horse, knowing where Titania intended to find Oberon, wouldn’t even show his face!

Titania had to pay a heavy price to call for external aid.

However, just as she rushed into Toril, the Tiger Goddess Freyrick, upon discovering those white dragons in the Neverwinter Forest, immediately called away her silly bear brother who was about to open a dimensional gate to summon his bearfolk followers.

Who doesn’t know about Mystra’s ascension with the two white dragons?

To go directly against the White Dragon Queen, now a Divine Envoy, and the Goddess of Magic behind her for a little honey?

Who doesn’t know that most of Agleya’s white dragons are descendants of Elvia?

That’s a variant white dragon willing to raise its great-grandchildren!

She may be curious and always eager to watch the fun, but she’s not about to send herself off to be made an example of.

Even though Byrado was reluctant to give up the honey, he, who can never go against his sister, gave up the struggle and returned to the Bearfolk Forest.

In the end, Titania could only rely on herself to confront Oberon.

Her Crystal Dragon Throne, unable to be separated from the Divine Kingdom, forced Titania to sit on a Dragon Throne with only half its power. She swung her Diamond Wand at the Lord of Beasts and issued a stern rebuke, attempting to suppress Oberon’s rebellious confidence.

After all, even with only half its power, the Fairy Throne still exerted significant bloodline suppression on the little fairies.

Oberon looked solemnly at this wife who kept him living in deception, expressionless as he waved his long sword, commanding the hunting longbow floating in the air.

Beneath him was a white dragon willing to help him fight against enemies, about to come of age.

The small Crystal Dragon Throne of Titania seemed suddenly insignificant beside the white dragon.

Oberon found himself not at all intimidated by the bloodline suppression… The pressure he felt during his sleep in the Floating Castle was incomparable to Titania’s false power.

He couldn’t count how many times he suspected he would meet his end alongside Hill… Though he was powerless to help, Oberon was genuinely determined to live or die with that kind Mage Lord.

Without Hill’s aid, his beloved little daughter might have long since become just another golden puppet in the sun… Amanata loved treating the non-human entities under his control this way.

The moment Hill received the news, he actually arrived at the forest’s edge.

But he first saw the brown bear’s head poking around in mid-air.

Luckily, although Baidola reacted a bit slowly, his tiger sister was intuitively sharp… At the first sight of the white dragon, she pulled her brother’s ear and swiftly ran away.

Hill was genuinely grateful at that moment for sending the white dragon to accompany Oberon, indeed, at this juncture, no deity in Toril would want to go up against Mystra.

Otherwise, he truly didn’t know if he could bear to strike that simple, adorable big bear… Even when being tugged by his sister, the giant brown bear, still clinging to his honey jar, was a bit too cute.

Hill leisurely flew to the clearing in the middle of the Neverwinter Forest, and casually helped Oberon out… by thoroughly organizing the area’s underground.

Otherwise, he truly doubted if Oberon’s Royal Palace, filled with only tens of meters of earth, with many fissures below, might end up welcoming visitors from the Underdark every few days.

Though most underground creatures had little interest in little fairies, Zholar and Gray Dwarves rather relished capturing them to grow mushrooms.

Though the underground filling work was somewhat perfunctory, the surrounding environment was crafted exquisitely and beautifully by the little fairies.

This is an aesthetic type Hill could never possess… For example, the few beautiful purple moon orchids by the small lake, upon closer inspection, were actually a combination of various purples orchids.

Even the fragrance was a mixture… upon careful distinction, one could differentiate over a dozen, even dozens of floral scents.

Indeed exquisite to an unmatched level, but if it were Hill, he’d simply choose to plant a single genuine purple moon orchid.

The art of pairing, indeed magical, but Hill had no desire to learn this.

The reason Hill could display such leisure and ease, of course, was due to Oberon’s exceptional valor.

Titania’s once flawless pale face, unable to fully exert Throne Power, had turned ashen… As a mighty Divine Power, she was actually matched evenly with the Lower Rank Divine Power of Oberon!

Though her primary source of power, the Dragon Throne, could only exert half its strength at the moment, Titania believed she had exerted at least Intermediate Divine Power!

Oberon… just what opportunity had he gained to match her like this?

Titania gripped the Diamond Staff tightly, she absolutely couldn’t lose.

Earlier, she was somewhat at a loss because she didn’t want to harm that gigantic white dragon, but now, she couldn’t afford to offend the new Goddess of Magic!
