Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Capítulo 1407: Chapter 1197: Sword Bay’s Complete Transformation

Hill pondered the excessive amount of content… and then remembered that, as the only combat unit of the Little Fairies, adept at commanding spider scorpions and various small creatures in battle, Oberon was originally able to survive in the shadows.

The reason he holds the divinity of the Lord of Beasts is because, compared to other Fairy Spirits, he can even command large beasts in battle… Oberon not only easily absorbs other energies, but also seldom lets those energies affect his soul.

He is a born Lord of the Fairies. If it weren’t for the fact that only princesses of the Little Fairies can ascend to the Queen’s Throne, Oberon would be the strongest of the Little Fairies.

Otherwise, that Little Fairy Queen wouldn’t have pretended to be utterly ambitionless just to marry him… and it wasn’t just to deceive her foolish sister.

So, he never fears the shadows and, when needed, can live within them without degenerating into a Sorrowful and Angry Fairy like other Little Fairies.

This Lord of Beasts is somewhat similar to Elisui in certain aspects.

Oberon sighed, “Ah, Vila… I felt something was off when I didn’t want to leave her.

But… normally, no one would use a Little Fairy to work!

Especially a Little Fairy like Vila, who makes trouble so easily.

I really, painstakingly found my daughter!

My whole heart is in a twist, I don’t even dare to let her brothers and sisters come see her!

Yet, the unlucky one who dared use Vila for a task even stumbled upon the Path of Destiny.

Hmm… thank you very much for bringing the Undead Tribe to Vila, dear Lord Hill, you truly saved my little daughter!

If not for meeting you… I might have lost her forever.”

Oberon glanced at the Little Fairies already starting to emerge from every corner nearby: “These children are cute but also easily cause trouble.

Vila really, brought so many little ones over here and then just ran off!

My little daughter, although I love her very much, she’s really a disaster wherever she goes.

If no one manages them… I don’t know what excitement the Little Fairies might stir up.

Therefore, if you don’t mind, I’m willing to stay here and manage these kids.

The Neverwinter Mountain Range next door also needs nature’s care anyway.

Before I fell asleep… it was such a vast forest!

Such a pity.”

Hill didn’t mind these issues.

After all, in Agleya City, besides the Undead Tribe, the largest groups are the Elves, mainly Sun Elves and Wood Elves.

These two types of Elves are accustomed to dealing with Little Fairies, and they know how to handle the little troubles these little ones cause.

However, if Oberon is willing to take care of his little daughter, that’s fine too.

In favor of the Swan Fairies who just arrived in Agleya, they are quite popular… and by Heart Lake, thanks to their arrival, there appeared thousands of beautiful large swans.

Seeing Hill nod in agreement, Oberon hesitantly asked, “Vila, is she completely normal now?

Can she keep occupying the Kalinsan Forest?”

Hill looked down at the puzzled face of Oberon, it seems after he woke up, the fairy spirits who had been holed up in the trees had informed him of all the past events.

“In a hundred years, there should be no problem.” Hill replied with a smile, “For Amanata to bypass Shaer’s blockade and gain belief in the Kalinsan interior is no easy task.

As long as Kalinsan hasn’t fully become his, Amanata won’t offend Vila, nor the Undead Tribe behind her.

As for other forces, they absolutely won’t venture into the Sword Bay area; even around Steam Lake, there probably won’t be much turmoil.”

The Youth Journey of the Wenjian World may not have much interest in targeting Kalinsan towns, but they indeed hold significant influence in that region… if they want to blockade the coast, unless the Elven Royal Fleet steps in, no one is their match.

After all, Harua, this time, has truly suffered heavy losses.

Mystra remains unscathed, and those forces that once tried to interfere with her path of destiny are mostly left to barely survive another day, even the once powerful Mage Kingdom of Harua is no different.

Without the protection of the Goddess of Magic, their days will be tough… because of the Necromancer Regent of Sel, the great turn on the Path of Destiny—the Seat of Sakoxiel—falling into Shaer’s hands, costing him a chance to devour the divine power within the Chosen to strengthen himself, but at the same time, preventing him from losing his life due to being crazed enough to even offend Lansendel.

Although the Kingdom of Sel has annexed its neighbor Giant Valley, the characteristics of the Undead Scourge make it impossible for him to stop… he certainly won’t dare go to Northern Ferun, and in Western Ferun, the only kingdom untouched by trouble near Sword Bay is Tethyr, but it’s sandwiched between Kalinsan and Anmur.

No matter how greedy Sel may be for this agricultural nation, he surely doesn’t have the courage to borrow passages from these two countries!

Although the Undead Tribe just completed a big task, there are plenty of people who are willing to undertake small-scale battles like eliminating passing undead.

To the east lies the perilous and desolate Endless Wasteland, devoid of corpses or the living.

So, Sel can only go south.

The two strongest countries to the south, one being Quel Senta, which Sel certainly dares not visit, as it’s a place that can always enlist the Undead Tribe for help.

The other one is Shaya, which has always been the meat in the pot of Harua.

In the past, Sel didn’t really want to confront this Mage Kingdom directly.

But now… the opponent is weak, and we are stronger.

If we don’t seize the opportunity to crush the opponent and grab a big haul, then when?

The Kingdom of Harua possesses considerable wealth from the Naicer Empire!

Historically, it was Harua and the Chosen of the Pantheon who joined forces to stop the undead tide of Sel, which swept across the entire Ferun Great Land, and in the end, Harua barely won.

At this moment, however, Sel is marching south directly towards Harua.

Who knows what the result will be.

Anyway, if Harua survives this time, it’s likely to be a bleak outcome… even if Edna does not take action herself, their competitors will use the opportunity presented by this enemy delivering themselves to their doorstep.

This time, no one would believe that the newly appointed Goddess of Magic, Edna Mistrala, would use the Weave to help them resist the enemy.

The energy weapons of Harua are not endless, whereas the enemies bring with them the Undead Scourge.

“I think… you might need some new information.” Lynn walked out of the study.

“What else could be happening on the Ferun Great Land?” Hill asked a bit puzzled.

“A coup in Tethyr.” Lynn said simply, “Queen Zalanda Star Rinalduen died a few years ago due to heart failure. After her daughter, Xiriana III, succeeded the throne, some troubles arose.

The original capital of Tethyr, Zazesbo City, was destroyed by a Magicplague, and King Hadrak III, who was that Great Sage Leo from Shadow Valley, nearly lost his life while protecting the Royal Palace and shut himself in the crypt, falling into a deep slumber.

Queen Zalanda was always weak and unwilling to agree to the royal ministers’ request to move the capital, and lacking the ability to resist, she simply cried herself to death.

Xiriana is hot-tempered, and her husband only cares about indulgence… so Tethyr is in turmoil over where to move the capital.

You should also understand the nature of human nobles, anyway, without Anmur and Kalinsan posing a threat to their safety, if they don’t seize this opportunity to gain some benefits, how could it work?

Then, taking advantage of the Endless Night a few days ago, Princess Zandala overthrew her own mother’s reign and… slaughtered several of her siblings.

Then Princess Zandala announced the relocation of the capital to Salardas, near Steam Lake.

Unfortunately, she left behind a sister, Anais, and couldn’t kill all the great nobles opposing her.

These nobles supported Anais to become queen in Daloma, closer to Kalinsan.

Therefore, Tethyr is now temporarily divided into two parts, east and west.

West Tethyr belongs to Queen Anais.”

Hill blinked and quickly realized why Lynn particularly emphasized West Tethyr.

He couldn’t help but mutter, “Shaer, truly, despite always watching the drama, she’s been anything but idle!”

“Will there be any trouble in Kalinsan?” Oberon asked with concern.

“Kalinsan… it will probably become very lively in the future, but it won’t affect Vila. It’s all just human conflicts, nothing major will break out.” Hill sighed in relief… Shaer is indeed a master of intrigue.

This conspiracy must have been planned since the start of the Magicplague for it to be timed so perfectly.

Now, in the entire eastern Ferun, in the past Sword Bay area, not a single original country survived!

In some way, it somewhat coincides with the original Path of Destiny.

Hill suddenly laughed, it seems the Tablets of Fate might not shatter after all.

Although the process seemed coincidental, at least the prophecy of the complete downfall of the Sword Bay area was fulfilled.

His Agleya was not part of the prophecy in the first place, so there’s nothing wrong with that.

“Then I’ll take these little fairies to Neverwinter Forest!” Oberon didn’t intend to dwell on human issues, he was now full of energy and his strength had never been stronger!

Even if that Little Fairy Queen caused trouble again, he felt he no longer needed Hill’s protection!

Just as well he could take this opportunity to find a better Shaded Sanctuary for himself… after all, although he could live quite well in Agleya, his family preferred the forest.

“If you need help…” Hill hesitated for a moment, then advised Oberon, “You can ask the White Dragon near White Dragon Mountain for help.

You should be able to communicate with the Murderous Vine, right?”

“Yes, she is a gentle lady.” Oberon couldn’t help but smile warmly.

“These White Dragons have been restless lately, letting them play in Neverwinter Forest would be good.” Hill said with an unchanged expression.

Titania will definitely not miss the chance to bring Oberon back, hopefully, after being trampled by hooves, she’ll try the Dragon’s Claw.
