Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1409: Chapter 733: Waves Rising Once More

That evening, Zhou Yun was going to share something with everyone on stage.

Lew Qing introduced her like this.

”The next actor to appear, when I invited her, I really wasn’t sure if I could get her to come.”

”I’ve seen her on many occasions and have interacted with her, but she’s really so popular. Every time I see her, there are so many people around her, wanting to talk to her. I’m also embarrassed to always disturb her, so every time I just quietly admire her beauty from afar.”

”But after I sent the invitation, I soon received her agreement. Her agent told me she was very willing to participate. I said, did I not make it clear before? This event is more of a charity nature, with no remuneration.”

”Her agent said, hey, if you were to offer a fee, she might not have come.”

Lew Qing said, ”And then she came, not only did she come herself, but she also brought her boyfriend along. Welcome Zhou Yun!”

The audience erupted into intense cheers.

Zhou Yun walked onto the stage wearing a rose-colored dress, waving to everyone below as she walked towards Lew Qing, and gave Lew Qing a hug on stage.

She smiled and said, ”Thank you, thank you.”

Lew Qing invited Zhou Yun to sit on the chair on stage.

The organizers placed two sofa chairs on the stage.

After Zhou Yun sat down, Lew Qing asked, ”Did Song Chi not come along?”

Zhou Yun smiled and said, ”He did, he’s down there.”

As soon as she said this, everyone immediately began to look around, searching for Song Chi.

Soon everyone saw Song Chi wearing a fisherman’s hat and sunglasses in a corner.

Song Chi smiled and waved to everyone, causing a burst of surprised and delighted cheers.

Lew Qing immediately said, ”Since Song Chi is here, come up on stage and chat with everyone then, bring up another chair!”

Immediately, staff members prepared to bring up a chair.

Song Chi below waved his hand, signaling that he wasn’t going up.

Lew Qing personally went down to invite him, and finally brought Song Chi up.

Song Chi sighed and jokingly said, ”Had I known I was going to be on stage today, I wouldn’t have dressed so casually.”

A female fan from the audience shouted loudly, ”Still handsome!”

Song Chi: ”Thank you, thank you.”

Zhou Yun smiled.

Lew Qing said, ”If I remember correctly, this should be the first time the two of you are attending such a talk event together?”

Zhou Yun nodded and said, ”Yes, I usually hardly participate. Honestly, I feel a bit unsure inside, not knowing what to say. Song Chi, he’s been busy these years, and the time he can spare is very limited.”

Song Chi smiled at Zhou Yun and nodded in agreement.

”You two have just finished collaborating on a new drama?” Lew Qing said, ”I remember it’s the screenplay by Zhi Wei, ’Moon Sinking at Sea’.”

”Yes.”

”I’ve read the script, it’s very exciting,” Lew Qing said, ”When it airs, I’ll be the first to watch it. However, this should be only your second collaboration?”

Zhou Yun said, ”Yes, the first time we worked together was on ’Heart Inquiry.’

Lew Qing asked, ”Why did it take so long for the second collaboration?”

Zhou Yun looked at Song Chi.

Song Chi gestured for Zhou Yun to go ahead and explain.

The event today was originally more focused on Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun thought for a moment and explained, ”Actually, we’ve always been looking for a script for us to collaborate on again, but suitable scripts are rare, and we’re also worried about collaborating too often and losing the sense of freshness for the audience. Especially since our first collaboration was ’Heart Inquiry,’ which I feel is a perfect play. I hope our subsequent collaborations don’t disappoint the audience who fell in love with us through that show.”

Song Chi picked up the microphone, smiled and said, ”And another thing, we’re both really busy, finding a suitable schedule is not easy either.”

Zhou Yun nodded, ”That’s also a factor.”

”Song Chi, you’ve started a film production company now, why not customize a project?” Lew Qing asked.

Song Chi: ”Mainly because I haven’t found the right project.”

Zhou Yun teased, ”He doesn’t want people to say he’s capitalizing on me.”

Song Chi immediately denied, ”I don’t have that concern.”

”Then why don’t you cast me in a drama?” Zhou Yun said, ”Honestly, I feel a bit upset about it. I’m such a good actress right here, and you produce several dramas a year, yet you don’t invite me to act in one.”
