Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1250: Chapter 673: Exposure_3

After she came back from the hospital, she’d been sleeping the whole time and hadn’t known about this.

She only found out now when Yin Zhou told her.

”So what do we do?” That was her first reaction.

Yin Zhou said, ”I just had a meeting with Sister Lan and a few people from PR. They’re planning to have the studio’s Weibo admit to it in a bit.”

Yuk Chu pressed her lips together. ”I see. Do we need to do anything?”

”We just need to repost it,” Yin Zhou said.

Yuk Chu nodded.

”Okay.”

Yin Zhou could tell Yuk Chu was feeling a little down.

”Baby, what’s wrong?” Yin Zhou put his arm around her shoulders so she could lean against him, hoping it would make her a bit more comfortable.

Yuk Chu said, ”It’s a bit sudden. I didn’t think everyone would find out this early.”

Yin Zhou said, ”We had to let everyone know sooner or later anyway.”

Yuk Chu hummed in response and said, ”It’s fine. I’ll just adjust my mood. You don’t have to worry about it too much.”

”Let’s watch a movie together tonight,” Yin Zhou suddenly said.

”Huh?”

”Shen Yao’s new film, ’I’m the Boss.’ We haven’t watched it yet, and it finally went up on the platform,” Yin Zhou said. ”After dinner tonight, we watch it together?”

”Okay.” Yuk Chu smiled and nodded. ”Oh right, how’s your dad doing?”

Yin Zhou said, ”He’s still holding up okay for now, but that’s about it. We can only maintain things as they are for the time being.”

”Let’s bring your dad over,” Yuk Chu said. ”I saw in the owners’ group this morning that there’s an apartment in the building next door coming up for rent. I was thinking we could rent it and have your parents move here.”

Yin Zhou was stunned.

”Why are you suddenly thinking about this?”

”If I hadn’t suddenly gotten pregnant, you’d probably be with him right now, staying by his side through this,” Yuk Chu said. ”I don’t want you to regret things too much in the future.”

Yin Zhou’s throat suddenly tightened.

He didn’t dare speak, afraid that if he opened his mouth that wave of emotion would be exposed.

Yuk Chu said, ”And I don’t want to see you working this hard either. You’re running back and forth, taking care of both sides. It’s too exhausting. Right now, when both I and your parents need you the most, you have to take care of your own body. You can’t collapse on us.”

”I won’t collapse.” Yin Zhou couldn’t help but let out a small laugh and patted Yuk Chu’s head. ”But baby, are you sure? You’re okay with living near my parents?”

”It’s not like we’d be in the same apartment, I’m fine with it,” Yuk Chu said. ”Even if we did live together, as long as it’s not forever, just for a year or two, I’d be willing.”

”Thank you.”

”Why are you being so polite with me?” Yuk Chu rested her head on Yin Zhou’s shoulder. ”Yin Zhou, I like you.”

”Me too.” Yin Zhou kissed Yuk Chu on the forehead. ”Baby, I love you.”

...

Australia.

Zhou Yun went back to the hotel and slept for a while. She finally felt a bit more refreshed.

Zheng Xiaojue then told Zhou Yun about what had happened with Yuk Chu and Yin Zhou.

Zhou Yun hadn’t expected her own injury to end up triggering the exposure of Yuk Chu’s pregnancy.

”Are they okay? There’s no negative buzz online, right?” Zhou Yun immediately got nervous.

Zheng Xiaojue shook her head and said, ”Don’t worry, Sister Xiao Yun. Sister Lan’s there. She’s been prepared for this exposure for a while. This was never something that could be kept secret forever. There was always going to be a One Day it came out—it just happened a little earlier than planned.”

Zhou Yun said, ”I have to give Yuk Chu a call.”

Zheng Xiaojue said, ”Sister Xiao Yun, don’t call Yuk Chu just yet. Brother Chi’s been waiting on your call.”

”Hm?”

”You don’t even know—when Brother Chi heard you got hurt back home, he had Zhang Cong book him a ticket right away. He didn’t care about the shoot he was in the middle of at all. Zhang Cong said he’s never seen Brother Chi walk out on a crew like that before.”

When Zhou Yun heard this, she said, ”What? Then hurry up and explain it to him. Tell him not to come. ’Jiangyun Platform’ isn’t even done filming yet; the whole crew is revolving around him.”

”Mm-hmm, I already told Brother Chi. He told me to take good care of you. At that time, I didn’t even know he was already on his way to the airport; I only found out later from Zhang Cong,” Zheng Xiaojue said. ”Just now Brother Chi contacted me again, asking how you were. I told him you were asleep, and he asked me to let him know when you woke up.”

Hearing that, Zhou Yun took the initiative to call Song Chi first.

”Hello?”

Song Chi picked up. ”Xiao Yun.”

”So? Did the news scare you?”

”Yeah.” Song Chi admitted openly. ”It scared me.”

Zhou Yun said, ”I’m fine, it’s just a bit of damage to my fingernail.”
