Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1245: Chapter 672: Rumor-Mongering

The entire scene froze in shock, pausing for a second, and Liu Gang was the first to react, shouting, ”Doctor! Doctor!”

Wen Bing and the others rushed forward.

Zhou Yun was surrounded by many people.

Wen Bing looked at Zhou Yun nervously.

Zhou Yun was in so much pain that she squatted on the ground, her head buried in her knees.

”It hurts so much,” she gasped, saying.

No one dared to touch Zhou Yun’s finger, which was already dripping blood.

Not until the doctor rushed over with a medical kit did they give Zhou Yun some simple treatment, apply medicine, stop the bleeding, and relieve the pain.

”This wound needs to be treated at the hospital,” the doctor said.

The crew quickly sent Zhou Yun to the local hospital.

...

Meanwhile, back home.

On the set of ”Jiangyun Platform.”

Song Chi crawled out of the mud pit, looking disheveled and dirty.

The director gave him a thumbs up, walking over, initially wanting to give him a hug, but stopped short as he glanced over Song Chi’s body.

”Awesome,” Zuo Hang finally just said that.

Song Chi took the towel handed by his assistant, wiped his face and hands, and asked, ”Do we need to keep another take?”

Zuo Hang shook his head and said, ”That’s enough.”

Song Chi went to the trailer to shower.

He had been crawling around in the mud pit for hours, covered in dirt, even he couldn’t stand it.

”Jiangyun Platform” was nearing completion, and they were rushing to finish the schedule.

Zuo Hang preferred working late rather than cutting corners, so the entire crew was working overtime with him.

Every day, Yu Zhiyang followed Song Chi to work, and sometimes when Zhang Cong was too busy, Yu Zhiyang would temporarily take on the role of assistant.

Everyone in the crew was quite curious about who this handsome young man Yu Zhiyang really was.

Song Chi never explained it to anyone.

Suddenly one day, Song Chi brought this handsome stranger to the set, which only made everyone more curious.

When Song Chi had quickly washed up and changed his clothes, Yu Zhiyang brought him the freshly bought coffee.

”Thanks,” he said.

Yu Zhiyang shook his head.

Meaning no need to thank, it’s nothing.

Song Chi was now starting to understand a little bit of Yu Zhiyang’s body language.

”If you were given roles that are exhausting and dirty, could you do it?” Song Chi asked.

Yu Zhiyang nodded, ”I can.”

Song Chi: ”If you’re just hanging around on set every day, do you want to try if there are any extra roles needed?”

Yu Zhiyang nodded, ”Sure.”

Song Chi found that although Yu Zhiyang was quite reserved, he was willing to do anything.

To be honest, this made Song Chi quite satisfied with Yu Zhiyang.

He didn’t like those who complained it’s dirty or tiring, but such young actors are quite common nowadays, and many people use connections to send someone over, asking him to take care of them. Song Chi didn’t mind looking after these connections since they were people he might need favors from, but he was put off by those who showed serious ”prince” or ”princess” syndrome.

Yu Zhiyang didn’t have these issues.

Song Chi went to see Zuo Hang.

Zuo Hang said, ”You can wrap up for today, you’re done with your scenes.”

Song Chi asked, ”I don’t need to shoot anymore?”

”Yeah, we need to hurry and shoot Luo Song’s scenes first. He has to leave in a week for another film that’s been waiting on him and can’t wait any longer; he’s asked me several times to speed up so he could finish early.”

”Alright then, I’ll head back first,” Song Chi said.

Zuo Hang nodded.

Although Song Chi was the big boss of this film, he mostly just acted as an actor on set.

All the management matters were handled by Wu Chengbao.

On set, his relationship with Zuo Hang was pretty much just director and actor.

Song Chi was about to head back.

He asked Yu Zhiyang if he wanted to stay on set to watch or return to the hotel with him to rest.

Yu Zhiyang said he wanted to stay and continue observing.

Song Chi let him stay, ”How will you get back later? Travel with the crew’s car?”

Yu Zhiyang nodded, agreed.

Song Chi didn’t ask anything else and prepared to leave.

As he went to the trailer to get his bag, the moment he turned around to get on and off the trailer, he noticed an abrupt change in the atmosphere outside.

Everything felt strange.

Even Yu Zhiyang’s usually expressionless face showed a look of shock and panic.

Song Chi had a sudden premonition.

”What happened?” he asked.

Yu Zhiyang said, ”There are online rumors that Sister Xiao Yun was seriously injured while filming in Australia and was taken to the hospital.”
