Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1237: Chapter 669: Action Movie (Part 2)

”Which brand is it? It’s got them all wanting to snatch it.”

”It’s the entire series of H brand’s Asian Region spokesperson,” Zhou Lan said. ”Ning Yao is getting a title upgrade, so this position has opened up.”

”No wonder,” Zhou Yun said.

”Earlier, Su Yan and Xu Siyao were fiercely competing against each other. After Wei Ru Xue entered the scene, Su Yan and Xu Siyao teamed up again, planning to first eliminate Wei Ru Xue.”

”What did they do?” Zhou Yun asked.

With these two teaming up, they were bound to make some moves and wouldn’t let Wei Ru Xue easily snatch this brand endorsement.

Zhou Lan said, ”They attacked Wei Ru Xue’s overall image and aura as being too plain, not fashionable enough. In terms of appearance, indeed, Wei Ru Xue can’t compare to Su Yan and Xu Siyao.”

”But for a celebrity at Wei Ru Xue’s level, would they still be attacked for reasons like that?” Zhou Yun said. ”Even if her image and aura aren’t the best, she’s been a top A-list celebrity for many years.”

”But H brand is a top luxury brand focusing on elegance and fashion. Just look at the previous Ning Yao. To act as H brand’s spokesperson, they’ll pick top-tier celebrities on one hand, and on the other hand, they’ll choose those whose image aligns with the brand’s style. Xu Siyao, whether in terms of experience or works, is a bit weaker compared to the other two, but her appearance is the most outstanding among the three.”

Xu Siyao’s looks are considered to rival Zhou Yun’s in the eyes of many media. Her dazzling face lacks some storytelling in TV dramas, but in the fashion world, it’s invincible.

Zhou Yun asked, ”Who do you think will ultimately win this endorsement among the three of them?”

”Who knows? None of the three are pushovers,” Zhou Lan said. ”When I got this news, the first thought in my head was to let them fight it out like dogs biting dogs.”

”Didn’t you mention earlier that Lew Qingqing is also in the running for this brand?”

”She is in the race, but her chances are slim. Although ’Heart Palpitating’ helped her regain some popularity and heat, it’s just a niche suspense web drama, still not enough to return her to her previous peak. Besides, her being an unwed mother has greatly affected her image. Normally, a brand like H wouldn’t use a celebrity artist like Lew Qingqing as their spokesperson.”

Celebrities choose brand endorsements, and brands choose celebrities as well.

Actually, if it weren’t for Zhou Yun already being Blink’s spokesperson, H brand’s first choice would definitely be Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun finished talking with Zhou Lan about these matters and hung up the phone.

”Eldest Sister Yun, it’s time to put on makeup,” Zheng Xiaojue reminded.

”Okay.”

Today, there’s a big scene to shoot.

Zhou Yun will ride a motorcycle to escape from being hunted by an assassin organization, dashing into an abandoned old building, and engaging in a fierce fight with those chasing her.

This scene will be the first major action scene in the movie ”Female Assassin.”

Zhou Yun completed her styling and makeup, and it was already an hour later.

She met with Wen Bing on set.

The scene was constructed in a studio, mainly because this final scene involved explosions. If they really had to find a suitable abandoned old building and then blow it up, the approval process would be complicated.

Zhou Yun was amazed at the building the crew had constructed; it maintained complete details both in shape and architectural elements.

Wen Bing came over with a man who looked somewhat intimidating.

”Xiao Yun, let me introduce you, this is Liu Gang, playing the role of the first assassin leader chasing you.”

Zhou Yun extended her hand, ”Hello, I’m Zhou Yun.”

Liu Gang politely shook Zhou Yun’s hand and said, ”Hello, I’m Liu Gang.”

Zhou Yun found Liu Gang somewhat familiar, but she couldn’t remember where she had seen him before.

Liu Gang was very tall, seemingly at least 1.85 meters, with a muscular build, clearly showcasing excellent physical prowess.

Wen Bing first took Zhou Yun and Liu Gang to rehearse their scenes together.

According to the script, Zhou Yun is chased into the building by the assassin played by Liu Gang, where she completes a life-or-death fight against him.

So, Liu Gang came over for today.

The fight coordinator designed Liu Gang’s action style to be one of brute force and strength, exerting absolute power suppression on Zhou Yun.

In the script, her action scenes with Liu Gang consist of only a few short lines, with almost no reference value, entirely relying on the fight coordinator to design the moves for them.

Zhou Yun had already familiarized herself with these actions beforehand, but during the actual shoot, they still needed hands-on guidance to go over them again.
