Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1246: Chapter 672: Rumor After Rumor (Part 2)

Everyone on the film set looked at Song Chi with a gaze that seemed to offer but not dare to name comfort.

The moment Song Chi heard what Yu Zhiyang said, he felt no real sense of it, his heart suddenly blocking out the surrounding commotion.

It quieted down immediately.

He seemed calm as he took out his phone to search for Zhou Yun.

It was only when he typed in Zhou Yun’s name that he realized his fingers were slightly trembling.

All the news online was about Zhou Yun getting severely injured while filming in Australia and being sent to the hospital.

There were no direct photos of Zhou Yun’s injury, and in some circulated photos, Zhou Yun was surrounded by layers of crowds, making it impossible to see her condition clearly.

But no matter what, from those onsite photos, one thing is certain: Zhou Yun’s injury is real and not a media fabrication.

Only at that moment did Song Chi truly panic.

Earlier, he kept telling himself this might just be unscrupulous media spreading rumors for heat and clicks.

So, it’s true.

Yu Zhiyang looked at him nervously and asked, ”Brother Chi, Sister Xiao Yun, she...”

Suddenly remembering something, Song Chi turned to Zhang Cong and said, ”Book me the next flight to Australia immediately, and coordinate with the crew for a few days off. Let Zuo Hang film other scenes, and I’ll film the unfinished ones when I return. If it’s impossible to wait for me, we’ll find a way to reshoot later.”

Hearing Song Chi’s rapid instructions, Zhang Cong gasped and nodded, ”Okay.”

He turned away.

Following Song Chi for so many years, Zhang Cong had never seen Song Chi take time off in the middle of filming a movie.

He was a bit surprised by Song Chi’s attitude.

But Zhang Cong could deeply understand Song Chi’s unprecedented move.

Zhou Yun is seriously injured while filming... God knows the extent of the injury.

The risk level of filming action scenes is high, and Zhou Yun is like Song Chi, always doing her own stunts without using doubles.

Song Chi instructed Zhang Cong, then called Zhou Lan.

Zhou Lan was equally shocked.

She said she’s still trying to contact the crew but hasn’t reached them yet.

Zhou Lan is not in Australia.

Song Chi then called Zheng Xiaojue and Wen Bing, but neither answered.

Wen Bing doesn’t keep his phone on him; he’s filming on the set and never carries his phone.

As for Zheng Xiaojue, amidst the chaos, she didn’t hear her phone ring at all.

Unable to contact anyone there, Song Chi felt even more anxious.

And he couldn’t do anything else, overwhelmed by panic, unable to calm down, consumed by anxiety and urgency.

The crew knew his state wasn’t fit to be disturbed; no one approached him to talk.

Only Yu Zhiyang quietly stayed by his side, saying nothing.

Zhang Cong ran back and said, ”Brother Chi, the earliest flight is at eight tonight.”

Song Chi glanced at the time; it was four in the afternoon.

Time was already running tight.

He said, ”Let’s go.”
