Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1223: Chapter 664: Don’t Be Jealous (3)

Zhou Yun calmed her emotions before releasing him, saying, ”You haven’t eaten dinner yet, have you?”

Yu Zhiyang shook his head.

Zhou Yun looked at Wu Chengbao and said, ”President Wu, shall we have dinner together?”

Wu Chengbao nodded happily.

Zhou Yun took them to the restaurant together.

Zhou Yun asked Yu Zhiyang a lot of questions, all about his life.

”Your contract will later be signed with your Brother Chi’s company. You’ve met him, he was with me last time when we visited you at the hospital. But I’m also your boss, so don’t just acknowledge him, okay?” Zhou Yun said, ”We’ll arrange suitable accommodation for you. For the next two days, you can stay in the hotel. I’m going abroad for filming tomorrow. You should rest well during this time, and when I come back, I’ll discuss your upcoming work with you, alright?”

Yu Zhiyang nodded and said, ”I’ll listen to you.”

Zhou Yun turned to Wu Chengbao and said, ”President Wu, please take care of him during this period. I’ll discuss specific arrangements with Sister Lan later.”

”Alright, Song Chi has already told me. We’ll follow your directive on his matters.” Wu Chengbao said.

Zhou Yun nodded.

After Zhou Yun treated them to dinner, she and Wu Chengbao accompanied Yu Zhiyang to the hotel.

While Wu Chengbao was helping him with the check-in, she gave Yu Zhiyang Zhou Lan’s phone number, saying, ”If you can’t contact Wu Chengbao with anything, reach out with this number. I’ll also send her WeChat to you later. She’s my agent, so you can talk to her about anything.”

Yu Zhiyang nodded and made a sound of acknowledgment.

He was even more silent compared to our last meeting.

Zhou Yun wished to help him become more cheerful, but she knew this wouldn’t happen overnight.

The life under Xu Guiying was probably tough for Yu Zhiyang. Over the past two years, his pride had almost been broken by Xu Guiying, inch by inch.

Zhou Yun felt compassion for him when thinking about being tricked into a ”slave contract” by Xu Guiying.

”Then we won’t accompany you upstairs. Head up yourself. Tomorrow I’ll arrange someone to accompany you to look at a house,” Wu Chengbao said.

Yu Zhiyang nodded.

Zhou Yun hugged him again and said, ”I’ll be going, see you when I return.”

Yu Zhiyang looked at her and nodded.

She patted Yu Zhiyang’s head and said, ”Why the long face? Smile more.”

Yu Zhiyang pulled at the corners of his mouth, forcing a smile.

Zhou Yun nodded, ”That’s more like it.”

She happily announced, ”With Sister Xiao Yun backing you up, you’ll be living well!”

Yu Zhiyang finally showed a genuine smile.

Somewhat shy.

...

After leaving the hotel, Wu Chengbao said, ”Miss Zhou, let me drive you back.”

Zhou Yun said, ”No need, a car is coming to pick me up soon.”

Wu Chengbao nodded upon hearing this, staying by Zhou Yun’s side until Cao Jun arrived with the car, watching her leave before he went.

Wu Chengbao’s demeanor made Zhou Yun feel increasingly positive about him.

This time, Wu Chengbao had managed Yu Zhiyang’s affair so smoothly, making Zhou Yun grateful to him.

Although Xu Guiying had encountered trouble and they were ”taking advantage,” Xu Guiying was, after all, a difficult person.

Wu Chengbao managed to handle this matter in such a short time, proving he was sincerely committed to it.

Returning home, Zhou Yun checked her luggage, ensuring everything was ready before washing up for bed.

An early morning flight to Canberra tomorrow.

Wen Bing saw Zhou Yun at the airport and asked in astonishment, ”What happened to make you so happy?”

In the waiting area, Zhou Yun told Wen Bing about Yu Zhiyang’s situation.

Wen Bing was even more surprised, asking, ”You’re so keen on Yu Zhiyang, isn’t Song Chi jealous?”

”Jealous of what? I see Yu Zhiyang as a little brother.”

”You see Yu Zhiyang as a little brother, but he may not see it that way, especially someone like you saving him from dire straits as a beautiful older sister,” Wen Bing said. ”Besides, is the age gap between you and Yu Zhiyang really that big? Just six years, right? If it were me, I’d definitely mind.”

Zhou Yun: ”You’re just being petty.”

”I don’t believe Song Chi isn’t bothered.”

”Song Chi isn’t as petty as you.”

”Every man would mind!”

Zhou Yun: ”...”

Wen Bing said, ”If not, why did Song Chi sign Yu Zhiyang to his company, if not to keep an eye on him? He just doesn’t tell you.”

”I don’t believe you,” Zhou Yun said, ”Song Chi and I trust each other completely!”

Despite saying this, while Wen Bing was not paying attention, Zhou Yun still sent a message to Song Chi: With Yu Zhiyang, it’s just a sibling relationship. I like you the most, don’t be jealous.
