Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1215: Chapter 662: Advancing with Great Momentum

The Spring Festival film season’s box office battle is undoubtedly the grandest spectacle in the film market.

”Two Tigers” ranks third in presale box office, ”Laissez-faire” ranks fourth. By noon, the box office of both films hasn’t changed, with Shen Yao’s comedy film far ahead in first place, followed by Tan Yaoxing’s sci-fi comedy in second.

In the live broadcast event of ”Two Tigers,” the host asked Zhou Yun how she felt playing the Female Assassin in ”Two Tigers.”

Zhou Yun said, ”It was thrilling, especially shooting the action scenes. I actually haven’t watched the film yet, but Director Wen Bing said that segment looks beautiful. Wen Bing and I are about to shoot an independent film based on this character.”

”Wow, so the new film features the character from ’Two Tigers’?”

”Yes.” Zhou Yun said with a smile, ”So, everyone, quickly go watch ’Two Tigers’!”

The live broadcast lasted an hour, and afterward, Zhou Yun had another job, an online interview with the movie channel.

”How did you feel working with Liang Yuanpu?”

Zhou Yun said, ”Teacher Liang is really charming. I didn’t talk to him much on set; he’s quite a quiet person on set. But when acting alongside him, although most of our scenes were action-based, his eyes and expressions could still kill me. He gave me a sense of a fatal blow at many moments.”

The host laughed and said, ”Many online viewers say you and Liang Yuanpu have a strong CP feel, a lot of chemistry. I heard you’re preparing an independent movie based on your character. So, may I ask, are you planning to make ’Two Tigers’ into a series?”

Zhou Yun chuckled, ”Everything is uncertain right now, but I think if the film achieves good box office success and audiences like it, anything is possible.”

”During this Spring Festival film season, you have many old acquaintances participating, like Shen Yao and Song Chi. Did you guys privately discuss who might achieve the best box office results?”

”We rarely discuss these.” Zhou Yun laughed, ”Actually, our film market is no longer one where only one film can make money. Our market is big enough that as long as the film is good, there won’t be a lack of audience or box office. So, our mood is the same: make good films that offer the best to the audience, and then everything else is up to the audience.”

The host asked, ”Have you thought about how much box office ’Two Tigers’ might achieve?”

Zhou Yun thought for a moment and said, ”Honestly, I haven’t thought about it.”

”Okay.” The host said helplessly, ”It seems to be a sensitive issue; many actors don’t want to answer.”

Zhou Yun said, ”Because it’s hard to answer; no one knows how much box office a film can achieve, and it’s not something actors can control.”

”Do you have no expectations at heart?”

”The higher, the better.” Zhou Yun laughed, ”That’s the only answer I can give.”

After the movie channel’s interview ended, Zhou Yun stretched lazily and walked out of the room.

Song Chi hadn’t come out of the room yet, probably still in a live broadcast.

Half an hour later, Song Chi came out too.

”Let’s go.” Zhou Yun said.

The two had agreed that once today’s work was over, they would go watch a movie together.

”Two Tigers” and ”Laissez-faire,” both had not watched yet.

As a result, they were recognized by the audience at the cinema and surrounded.

Zhou Yun and Song Chi took half an hour to escape.

”It’s terrifying.”

”Indeed.”

The scene of the two being surrounded at the cinema was captured by many, posted online, and sparked heated discussions.

Some joked that they didn’t expect Zhou Yun and Song Chi, these two big celebrities, to squeeze into the Spring Festival season on the first day of the new year to watch a movie like everyone else.

Others were curious whether they watched ”Laissez-faire” or ”Two Tigers.”

The online scene was lively that day.

The programs from last night’s Spring Festival Gala were still being reminisced by many, while the several blockbusters released today grabbed eyeballs, their topics exploding.

What surprised everyone the most was that the films this year had unexpectedly excellent word-of-mouth.
