Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1249: Chapter 673: Exposed (2)

...

Yuk Chu isn’t the type of stunning beauty you notice at first glance, nor does she have a particularly distinctive personality. In the dazzling world of the entertainment industry, she doesn’t stand out.

She garnered attention and popularity by tirelessly acting in numerous productions like a determined workhorse.

Not long ago, ”Deep Sea” aired, finally showcasing a work that Yuk Chu was widely seen in, gaining her much recognition as an actress.

Just when she was becoming popular, news of her pregnancy broke unexpectedly, causing quite a shock.

The topic of Yuk Chu soared to second place in the hot searches, right behind Zhou Yun’s studio’s response.

People were lively discussing the child in her belly and the man who was exposed online, Yin Zhou.

Yin Zhou played the second male lead in ”Eighth Heartbeat.” He is a legitimate actor and has been famous, but unfortunately, he’s not valued at Yuehai. His later performances haven’t made much of a splash, unlike Gu Huaichun, who has cemented his position with consecutive roles.

This was the most attention Yin Zhou received in over a year.

Some even suspected that Yuk Chu and Yin Zhou were introduced by Zhou Yun, as Zhou Yun was friends with both of them.

Netizens were eagerly discussing.

”But don’t you find it strange? Yuk Chu has been pregnant for so long and yet no news has leaked,” one netizen said. ”And how did she reconcile with Yin Zhou? Weren’t they supposed to have broken up?”

”Yeah, I heard they broke up before, forced by Yin Zhou’s company Yuehai,” another chimed in.

”Yuehai is notorious for its unethical practices.”

”Yin Zhou hasn’t been working publicly for ages. Have you seen him in any public activities in the past few months?”

”No, I’ve also not heard of him joining any production.”

”I heard from a friend in the industry that Yin Zhou fell out with Yuehai long ago because his relationship with Yuk Chu was sabotaged by the company, and things got quite intense, leading to him being sidelined.”

”Yin Zhou was popular alongside Zhou Yun and Gu Huaichun. Just look at how Zhou Yun and Gu Huaichun have developed later, compared to him. His popularity was quite high with ’Eighth Heartbeat’ airing, wasn’t it? But Yuehai later slotted him into trashy roles, all eye sores.”

”Yuehai’s unethical practices +1!”

...

Yin Zhou received a call from his former agent at Yuehai.

The agent seemed a bit frantic: ”Yin Zhou, what’s going on with the things being said online?”

Yin Zhou had anticipated getting such a call.

He calmly said, ”There’s nothing much, I’ve already left the entertainment circle.”

The agent asked, ”Have you reconciled with Yuk Chu?”

They weren’t aware of this yet.

Yin Zhou replied, ”Yes, she’s pregnant with my child.”

”What?” The agent snorted in disbelief.

Yin Zhou asked, ”Did you call just to ask about this?”

”Everyone online is cursing our company now, haven’t you seen?”

”Wasn’t it you guys who forced us to break up in the first place?” Yin Zhou retorted.

The agent was momentarily speechless.

Yin Zhou continued, ”If there’s nothing else, I’m hanging up.”

”Don’t forget, Yin Zhou, even if you left the entertainment circle, your contract with Yuehai hasn’t ended yet.”

”I know, I don’t need your reminder.”

Yin Zhou hung up the phone, a sharp glint flickering in his eyes.

Just then, some noises suddenly came from inside the room, it seemed Yuk Chu had woken up.

Yin Zhou quickly got up to check on her in the bedroom.

Sure enough, Yuk Chu was struggling to get up, holding her waist.

Yin Zhou hurriedly went to help.

”Getting up is so difficult now,” Yuk Chu said helplessly.

Yin Zhou replied, ”Let’s hold on a bit longer, just four months to go.”

Yuk Chu smiled.

She suddenly remembered something, ”Wait, where’s my phone? I need to call Xiao Yun, even though she wasn’t hurt that badly, I still need to check on her.”

”Hold off on that, there’s something you don’t know yet,” Yin Zhou said, ”I need to tell you.”

Yuk Chu paused, lifting her head, her face as pale as the moon, gentle and soft, ”What is it?”

Yin Zhou, holding Yuk Chu’s hand, said, ”Someone photographed us going to the hospital earlier, and it’s been uploaded online, exposed.”

Yuk Chu widened her eyes in surprise.
