Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 624: Chapter 458: Surprise Debut Broadcast

After taking a bath, Zhou Yun prepared to go downstairs to buy a couple of bottles of wine to bring up.

She wanted to drink a little before going to sleep.

Who knew she would accidentally bump into Liang Yuanpu.

Liang Yuanpu wore a duckbill cap and a mask, thoroughly disguised, but Zhou Yun recognized him at a glance.

Liang Yuanpu also recognized Zhou Yun, equally well disguised.

The two unexpectedly locked eyes, smiled at each other—of course, the smiles were hidden behind their masks.

Both of them bought several bottles of champagne and red wine and returned to the hotel together.

The production crew had booked them rooms in the same hotel.

”Why are you also buying wine?” Liang Yuanpu initiated the conversation and asked.

”I’m staying at the hotel, and I’m used to having a bit before sleep, to help me doze off,” Zhou Yun said, ”Plus, red wine is good for the skin.”

Liang Yuanpu nodded, saying, ”Starting to take care of your skin at such a young age, huh?”

”Yes, there’s this saying, right? ’Your skin maintains the condition of the age when you start caring for it’,” Zhou Yun said, ”Although it’s not exactly scientific, I still somewhat believe in it.”

Liang Yuanpu laughed, saying, ”I’ve also heard people say that.”

The two walked together for a while.

”You’re much more humble than I imagined. When Zeng Lili told me you were a very modest person, I was a bit skeptical, but it turns out I was the arrogant one,” Liang Yuanpu suddenly said. ”Before shooting this film, I had a meal with Zeng Lili, and she sung your praises quite a bit. At that time, I thought, wow, this young lady is pretty skillful, managing to impress Zeng Lili.”

Zhou Yun smiled embarrassingly, lowering her head with a friendlier smile, ”Teacher Liang, stop making fun of me. I know I’m not that modest myself, Sister Lili is just very nice to me, so she thinks well of me.”

Liang Yuanpu shook his head, saying, ”In this line of work, if someone is too slick, I don’t like it. An actor who truly focuses on acting doesn’t have the energy to appeal to everyone. Having your own attitude is a good thing.”

Zhou Yun wasn’t sure if Liang Yuanpu was referring to the incident between her and Fan Zhu.

Liang Yuanpu: ”Seeing you today, staying in place all day for the integrity of the shot and not asking for a stand-in, made me believe Zeng Lili.”

”During the filming of ’Heart Inquiry,’ Director Kang Xin once told me that you don’t just perform when the camera lens is on you, he taught me a lot of principles.”

”The older generation of directors are all like that.”

Liang Yuanpu said, ”When I was younger, working with those older directors, I would often get scolded on set by them, but that was their style. The more they admire you and want you to do well, the stricter they are with you. Nowadays, directors willing to discuss this with you actually have high expectations of you.”

”Mm-hm, I understand,” Zhou Yun nodded.

Although Liang Yuanpu was middle-aged, he was well-maintained, his figure and face still full of charisma, his eyes sharp and lively.

Under the night sky, his casual side profile still made him appear strikingly handsome.

Zhou Yun suddenly thought, when Song Chi reaches Liang Yuanpu’s age, he will probably be like Liang Yuanpu.

The two returned to the hotel, entered the elevator together, and then parted ways.

As Liang Yuanpu was about to leave the elevator, he suddenly said, ”On our way back just now, I saw someone secretly taking pictures of us. There might be rumors published, so you should give your agent a heads-up to be prepared.”

Zhou Yun was startled, a bit surprised, ”Ah, okay!”

So keen?

Zhou Yun had not noticed at all earlier.

When she returned to her room, she reported the incident to Zhou Lan and also mentioned it to Song Chi.

Song Chi: ”Teacher Liang is renowned as a paparazzi detection expert, he’s even had face-offs with paparazzi before, causing quite a stir in the news.”

Zhou Yun: ”Is Teacher Liang married?”

Song Chi: ”He should be married, but it’s never been exposed, and we all don’t know who his wife is, basically never seen her.”

Zhou Yun searched online to find out if Liang Yuanpu was married and who his wife was, but there was no information on the internet.

Liang Yuanpu’s status in the film industry was high, almost untouchable. He had won a plethora of awards big and small throughout the country, even being an actor at the three major film festivals, decisively leading the pack among domestic actors.

If Song Chi were to find someone in the circle to aspire to, it would likely be Liang Yuanpu.

His fan base was tremendous, as long as he starred in a movie, the box office’s basic sales would surpass a hundred million.
