Just as Madam Sha finished speaking, Gu Xi’s eyes brightened. He found himself lying on the Evil Coffin, with drool at the corner of his mouth.

Lowering his head, Gu Xi discovered he was holding three folded white papers in his hand.

After thinking for a while, Gu Xi decided to keep the three white papers, jumped off the Evil Coffin, and left the place.

After leaving the influence range of the fallen Tree of Wisdom, Gu Xi took out the three white papers.

The white papers recorded three items that Gu Xi needed to find.

These three task items were not really difficult, nor did they require quantity, but they had a specific direction; either to kill someone and take an item from them, or to take a special item from somewhere.

Anyway, these items were clearly unique and independent.

Their styles were quite distinctive; either you couldn’t find them, or they were easily recognizable at a glance.

After refolding the paper with the task items, Gu Xi raised the Cold Wind Staff to the sky.

A Stone Golem descended in front of Gu Xi.

”Check out these three things; pay more attention while exploring the path. Report back immediately if you find anything.”

The Stone Golems took the paper, glanced at the information, and quickly flew away.

As soon as they flew away, the other Stone Golems received the corresponding information.

Whenever the Stone Golems found anything unusual in the sky, they could report it to Gu Xi immediately.

After sending off the Stone Golems, Gu Xi patted the Evil Coffin.

They had delayed somewhat just now, so they needed to hurry up and reach the valley to find the Skull Flower.

This time, Gu Xi didn’t encounter anything strange along the way.

The journey was rather smooth.

No enemies suddenly attacked him, nor were there any strange items that attracted him or made him lose his way.

Even after leaving the influence range of the Tree of Wisdom, Gu Xi felt increasingly invigorated.

So Gu Xi simply sat at the front of the Evil Coffin, watching the trees flashing by, relaxing his mind and soul.

After about half an hour, the Evil Coffin stopped near a mountaintop.

At this time, Gu Xi also noticed the situation in the valley ahead.

According to the map, this was the valley where Skull Flowers were produced.

This valley looked no different from ordinary mountain forests, but when Gu Xi stood on the mountaintop and looked down, it felt different.

The entire valley was shrouded in thick fog, which wasn’t normal fog but exuded a faint ashen hue.

It was also accompanied by a strong stench of decay, which, if Gu Xi weren’t in the game right now, the smell alone would have made him vomit.

After detecting the unusual aura emanating from the valley, Gu Xi became cautious.

Since entering the game, he’d encountered quite a few burial and soul gathering grounds, but never a situation like this.

The appearance of a situation like this meant that either an undead town of no low level was buried beneath this valley,

or it used to be the burial site of a High-Level Necromancer.

Either scenario wasn’t good news for Gu Xi.

It seemed that to get the Skull Flowers this time, a fight was inevitable.

As Gu Xi was observing the valley, a slight tremor came from within the valley.

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi’s heart tightened.

Here it comes.

Without needing Gu Xi to take any action, a Steel City Gate appeared behind him, and the Earth-bound Deceitful Dragon lying before the Steel City Gate immediately stood up, closely watching every move in the valley below.

The Earth-bound Deceitful Dragon seemingly had its own wisdom.

It grinned.

Clearly, the Earth-bound Deceitful Dragon sensed the situation below.

The aura in the valley felt somewhat familiar to it.

A powerful presence once died here and became part of the undead in this place.

Someone like it, belonging to part of the Earth-bound Spirit.

As the Earth-bound Deceitful Dragon prepared for battle, more than thirty Stone Golems flew out of the valley.

Before these Stone Golems could exit the valley, a red light flashed, and three Stone Golems were cut in mid-air, falling into the gray mist of the valley.

Then at this moment!

With a muffled thud, the ground roared!

Out marched a gigantic fully armored figure about ten meters tall from the valley!

This full armor was blood-red, shimmering with a sinister luster under the sunlight, and on the surface of the full armor, dark golden edges were embedded.

The intricate and complex dark golden edges seemed to have some special magical power, forming rose-like patterns on the armor’s surface.

This full armor had a peculiar design that felt both sinister and awe-inspiring.

In its hand, it wielded a Two-Handed Battleaxe not much shorter than the armor itself!

The battleaxe was silvery white, glinting coldly, making it particularly glaring under the sunlight.

However, what attracted Gu Xi was not this.

It was the white skulls hanging on the armor; they were clearly relics of numerous wars, intimidating to behold.

The skulls densely populated the back of the armor, from the shoulder down to the waist, resembling a cloak woven of death and terror.

Time and dust had stained this armor with a deep brown, yet its presence couldn’t overshadow the eerie ghostly energy emitting from the skulls.

When the armor moved slowly, all the skulls seemed to come alive instantly, laughing mockingly at anyone attempting to approach.

Gu Xi immediately recognized the cloak of skulls on this armor. Wasn’t this his target, the Skull Flowers?

No wonder they needed ten.

Even one or two could accidentally fall off; ten clearly indicated Gu Xi must defeat the armor to collect the Skull Flowers from it.

Just as Gu Xi felt speechless, the armor noticed Gu Xi. It lifted its head, waved the Two-Handed Battleaxe towards Gu Xi’s direction, and then turned around, walking back into the valley.

This surprised Gu Xi.

What was going on? It reached the gates, and then didn’t come out?

Was it looking down on him?

Just as the armor turned around, the Earth-bound Deceitful Dragon suddenly moved, opening its mouth and spitting out a stream of water striking the armor.

This counted as Gu Xi initiating the attack; the armor was infuriated on the spot, striking down with an axe on the Earth-bound Deceitful Dragon.

However, by this time, the Earth-bound Deceitful Dragon turned its body, quickly wrapping its Dragon Bone in a torrent, transforming into a Water Flow Clone.

And using its body, it forcefully withstood the full-power strike from the armor.
