Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 436: Chapter 434: Di Mi’s Legion (174/190)

After entering the Giant Graveyard District, Gu Xi immediately felt a noticeable difference compared to the previous times he had come here.

At this time, in this Giant Graveyard District, the buildings that originally belonged to the Laboratory have all been leveled, and three new buildings are surrounding a huge garden.

The tall Di Mi was sitting in the garden, having afternoon tea in the sunless afternoon.

A group of vampire servants surrounded her.

Upon seeing Gu Xi approaching, Di Mi quickly stood up, walked over to Gu Xi, and slightly crouched down to bring her face level with Gu Xi’s.

”My lord, you’ve arrived.”

”I’ve been sleeping for dozens of days, so I came over to take a look.”

Gu Xi walked towards the huge garden in the city, ”How are things on your end, what’s going on here?”

”My three buildings are complete, this garden can be considered my base.”

Base?

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi couldn’t help but glance at this garden.

[Building Name: Huge Garden

Looking at the situation before him, Gu Xi glanced again at the Huge Garden on the spot; this massive garden was truly vast, with flowers and plants covering the entire Giant Graveyard District and even extending towards the nearby Blood Cellar District.

When Gu Xi arrived, Di Mi also conveniently displayed the banners of her three stationed units to show Gu Xi.

Di Mi’s battle flag is an equilateral triangle composed of blood-red, dark cyan, and gray-white roses.

The remaining three battle flags show blood dripping from a blood-red rose, an arm reaching from beneath a dark cyan rose, and ghosts flying around a gray-white rose.

This signifies the three troop types Di Mi can control: Vampires, Zombies, and Ghosts.

”My lord, I’ve already become a hero under your command, and now have a corresponding base and would also like to ask you to name my troops.”

”With your current situation, you can already form an independent corps; thus, your corps shall be called the Rose Corps, with the three units named Red Blood Camp, Cyan Zombie Camp, and Gray Soul Camp.”

Di Mi had no objections to Gu Xi’s naming.

The reason she asked Gu Xi for this naming was to prove to him that she is still the number one hero under his command.

”Do you have all the bosses under your command now?”

Gu Xi didn’t know the details here, so after the naming, he asked about the situation with the Rose Corps’ bosses and soldiers.

”Not yet; the soldiers are not complete yet. Oh, my lord, I heard that a Maze Devourer has been trained at the Undead Gathering Area, and I really want some of those troops.

As for ghosts, I plan to use ordinary ghosts, and I hope to temporarily meet all my needs with the vampires.”

Di Mi’s request isn’t particularly difficult, nor is it particularly simple.

Zombies and ghosts are relatively more manageable, as Gu Xi has four to five thousand of both under his command.

These were all obtained from the battlefield of the White Training Grand Ceremony.

However, there’s no such means for vampires, as Gu Xi’s source for vampires is limited to several Vampire Training Camps, the recently integrated Demon Blood Haunted Mansion, the Vampire Mansion, and the Bloodfield Haunted Mansion before him.

Even with these three Training Camps for vampires combined, it’s impossible to fill the thousand-man Red Blood Camp in a short time.

If Gu Xi reallocates these vampires for other purposes, such as assigning them to Shaya, the situation would become even more dire.

To ensure her troop strength, Di Mi had to make her requests directly in front of Gu Xi.

”I can arrange the vampires for you, but what about your personal soldiers?”

”It’s alright; didn’t a few Cyclops come around this week? I’ve already transformed them into special Zombies to temporarily serve as my personal guard. Also, I have communicated with some Undead Heroes, and a few promising ones will join my team.”

”That’s good. Have you thought about what kind of corps your Rose Corps will become?”

Di Mi pondered for a moment over this question, as a corps should be stronger than a camp and also more diverse.

Generally, it is divided into three types: comprehensive, main battle, and defense.

The roles are as their names suggest, the comprehensive type contains various troop types and can be used in any situation.

The main battle type primarily comprises attack troops and serves as the main assault force. If the Black Spear Camp and Bone-Slaying Camp developed into corps, they would likely follow the main battle type route.

The defense type is used to intercept enemies, guard forts and passes, and even defend the city.

It mainly consists of defensive troops and long-range troops with a minority of close-combat attack troops.

There are, of course, exceptions; for instance, Amirka’s goal is to establish a Knight Order.

He had no choice but to follow the main battle comprehensive route previously, but now, with the Red Knight and Gladiatorial Black Guard, his target is set squarely on a Knight Order, with no alternative routes considered.

There will also be specialized assault teams like the Mage Corps and Archer Corps.

Gu Xi has even heard of people assembling all breath-attacking dragons like the Red Dragon, Green Dragon, Black Dragon, Golden Dragon, Holy Dragon, and Rusted Dragon into a Giant Dragon Corps.

Of course, Gu Xi is concerned he might not be able to do such a thing; even if he gathered a Giant Dragon Corps, in a short time, they might all turn into a Bone Dragon Corps, which would truly be a waste of physical strength.

However, Gu Xi did conceive a notion of training a Bone Dragon Legion.

Perhaps it’s time to visit the Main City Gate and check on the six Bone Dragons stationed there.

He wonders what these autonomously transformed Bone Dragons will be like.

This batch of Red Dragons is not the High-Grade Red Dragon type that can be promoted to Black Dragons but are Secondary Red Dragons mixed with magma, and Gu Xi is quite concerned about the situation of these Red Dragons, as their bones are no better than proper Red Dragons.

He’s worried they might lower the combat capacity of the Bone Dragons.

As the weakest Tier Seven Soldier, Bone Dragons are already quite shameful; if weakened further, these Bone Dragons would truly be unsuitable for combat, and their fate would be to stay home as mere decorations.

On his way to the Main City Gate, Gu Xi glanced at Di Mi, wondering what kind of corps Di Mi aimed to form.

”Combat, siege!”
