The door was opened by Gu Xi himself. He smashed the glass on the door, opened it, and walked in.

Feeling the overwhelming negative energy in the carriage, Gu Xi checked one compartment after another.

He found that all the skeletons in front of him were already reacting. As long as he entered the compartment, the skeletons would lift their heads and look at him with hollow eyes.

But as long as Gu Xi made no move, they had no intention of moving either.

After making a round in the carriage, Gu Xi walked back to the spot where he first entered the carriage, and stared at a skeleton, asking, ”Sorry to bother you, but I just wanted to ask, where is this train heading? If it keeps going in circles here, is it any use finding the conductor?”

When Gu Xi was talking, his voice didn’t seem like his own. Instead, it sounded as if it came from underground, the kind of muffled voice that made one uncomfortable to hear.

But discomfort aside, this was a method of communicating with the undead, known as Soul Whisper.

Although the skeletons in front of him showed no intention of moving, it was clear they had become undead in the negative energy.

They had no intention of moving simply because Gu Xi did not make a move, and they had no need to either.

Upon hearing Gu Xi’s question, the questioned skeleton lifted its head and moved its mouth continuously.

A similar sound to the one Gu Xi made came out from underground.

’Huo...Wo...Academy, that is an academy lost in time and space. There is no use finding the conductor, as he too is searching for the way to the academy.’

No use finding the conductor?

Gu Xi’s heart tightened.

He didn’t expect the academy ticket could expire.

The academy was lost in time and space already.

The train couldn’t find the right way either, it could only move back and forth here.

What kind of situation is this?

Gu Xi was a bit speechless.

He didn’t expect that the first thing he would have to do upon entering the space belonging to the academy was to find the academy.

However, he still thanked the skeleton and then headed towards the carriage up ahead.

The reason Gu Xi asked this skeleton was that he noticed this skeleton was distinctly different in size from the others. Most of the other skeletons were children or young people; this one must have been an adult in life.

Gu Xi didn’t know if this skeleton was the protector of the carriage, but adult students usually knew more.

Now Gu Xi wanted to check other carriages to see if anyone could provide some information.

After checking a few carriages, Gu Xi indeed encountered some adult students, but after communicating with them, he found out that what they knew was not much different.

At most, it was just that the academy was missing, or they could never find the road to the academy.

No one knew where the academy was located, nor whether it could be found.

Even after reaching the end of the train, Gu Xi hadn’t solved this problem. At this point, Gu Xi noticed that the train had left a big lake and entered a mountain range.

However, Gu Xi did not focus much on this; he was somewhat dejected and walked back.

Yet, as he walked from the eighth carriage to the seventh, he suddenly saw something flash past in the mountains outside the train.

Gu Xi’s eyes sharpened. Without saying a word, he pushed open the door connecting the carriages and jumped out. As he jumped up, an Evil Coffin appeared beneath his feet, and with a spark of light, the Evil Coffin took Gu Xi chasing into the forest.

As Gu Xi jumped off the train, he looked back.

He saw that the train didn’t speed up because he got on nor slow down because he got off. Whether he got on or off, it didn’t matter to this train.

Gu Xi observed this and didn’t pay much attention to it. To him, one more person on the train didn’t matter, and one less person didn’t matter either.

Instead, what flashed through the mountains seemed to be a problem.

Gu Xi didn’t see it clearly just now, but when catching up, Gu Xi found this person’s movement very problematic; they always jumped around on the branches. If not for the size being about the same as a normal human, Gu Xi would have thought it was a flying monkey.

The Evil Coffin was chasing on the ground, but no matter how hard it tried, it couldn’t close the gap.

Gu Xi was a bit anxious; he tapped the Evil Coffin with the Cold Wind Staff, ”Can you use the Mysterious Flash?”

As soon as Gu Xi issued the command, the Evil Coffin initiated the flash, but this time it achieved nothing, moving forward less than two meters.

It was clear that the figure ahead wasn’t something mysterious.

This made Gu Xi somewhat helpless.

It seemed some previous methods couldn’t be used here.

So Gu Xi was ready to take action. Just as he raised his Cold Wind Staff, the figure suddenly dropped down and disappeared into the mountains.

Gu Xi was startled, quickly turning around to find the path he came from had vanished, surrounded by lush trees.

”Darn it.”

Gu Xi muttered, jumping off the Evil Coffin.

He hadn’t expected that after chasing all the way here, the person was gone.

What kind of mysterious academy is this, not letting people properly enroll in studies.

Gu Xi had originally planned well, intending to first learn Leadership Skill upon entering the academy, whether through practical learning or book learning wouldn’t take much time.

He intended to learn Leadership Skill plus any other three random skills.

How did he end up being sent to such a bizarre place?

Gu Xi thought a bit gloomily, meanwhile walking to the spot where the figure disappeared.

Here, Gu Xi’s eyes brightened, noticing something strange about the ground.

Gu Xi pressed on the ground, a look of realization in his eyes, and in the area he pressed, foul-smelling bloody water started seeping from underground.

This was a burial ground, and it appeared to be one with a large number of buried bodies.

During his school days, Gu Xi had specifically studied situations like this.

A ground that oozes foul blood when pressed is structured through special means and numerous bodies, creating a burial site.

If such a burial ground was found in the wild, an Undead Mage would be delighted, because it would be like finding a massive corpse heap, easily summoning hundreds to thousands with one Soul Summoning Skill.

But Gu Xi’s face showed no obvious joy.

With just a press, he realized there was only one body buried beneath this burial ground, and he was well aware that for such a setup with just one body underground, that body must be incredibly powerful.

Now Gu Xi had to make a choice: awaken the body below to inquire about the situation, or give up this opportunity and head back to the train.

Gu Xi had a feeling this choice would be linked to his entry into the academy.
