Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 406: Chapter 404: Resurrection of Eldest Princess Anna

”My lord, do you plan to save the Eldest Princess?”

Although Luna was busy with her own affairs during this period, she still noticed some of Gu Xi’s actions.

Luna had some understanding of the Eldest Princess Anna’s matter, but seeing Gu Xi spend so much effort for her, she felt somewhat displeased.

Gu Xi could also sense Luna’s feelings, but he still said, ”If I were to do this just for the face of the Eldest Princess Anna, at most I would bury this real corpse and erect a tombstone for her.

We still have four chances at the dungeon, with four Annas waiting for me. No matter which one has an issue, resurrecting them would be simpler than this one.

But you know, when I saw the Eldest Princess Anna, I had a kind of feeling.

It was the same as when I found Shaya’s body in the small building.”

When Gu Xi said this, Luna’s mirror-like eyes shone.

”The Three Divine Skills?”

Luna clearly understood what Shaya brought to Gu Xi after being contracted.

Although the [Temporary Quest: Sacred Artifact in the Fairy Tale] appeared long after Shaya was resurrected.

But without the initial investment during the resurrection and contracting, this task would not have been so easy to take on.

Gu Xi having a feeling about the Eldest Princess Anna indicated that she carried clues to one of the Three Divine Skills.

Regarding the Three Divine Skills, Luna was well aware of its position and role.

Without thinking, she immediately asked, ”Is there anything I can help with?”

”No, originally I was thinking of completing this major ritual and then converting it.

Now that this thing has appeared, it’s reminding me not to overdo things, to avoid any new changes if I delay further. With everything nearly prepared now, it’s better to deal with the Eldest Princess Anna first.”

Having heard Gu Xi’s words, Luna had no issue and swiftly moved the [Six Paths Reincarnation Base] to the edge of Evil Wood Lake.

Gu Xi did not go over immediately but instead checked the materials available in his hands.

This was not about handling a major anomaly, so naturally, Gu Xi wouldn’t use inferior materials.

This time, everything Gu Xi brought out was top-grade stuff.

Like the incomplete Golden Sternum, along with items like [Villain Mask] and [Professional Hood].

One could say Gu Xi brought out the highest-grade materials he could muster.

After preparing all the materials, Eldest Princess Anna’s body was also brought out from Evil Wood Lake.

Soaking in Evil Wood Lake for so many days had nearly cleansed the eerie power within Eldest Princess Anna’s body.

The only problem now was that Eldest Princess Anna was missing some bones.

Gu Xi placed Eldest Princess Anna’s body on the [Six Paths Reincarnation Base], and then, using the base as the center, he drew the Undead Transformation Magic Array outward.

Then he cut open Eldest Princess Anna’s chest, inserting the half piece of the Golden Sternum. While placing the Golden Sternum, Gu Xi also put in the [Deceased Hellfire Core], supplementing Eldest Princess Anna’s physical deficiencies.

Although this still couldn’t fully make up for the loss of Eldest Princess Anna’s bones and organs, at least it wouldn’t be too deficient.

Then Gu Xi placed the Villain Mask on Eldest Princess Anna’s face and used the Professional Hood to replace the crown made of Pea Flower.

Next were Eldest Princess Anna’s clothes and equipment. Gu Xi replaced her clothing with the [Broken Water God Guardian Robe].

The [Polluted Magic Book] taken from Eldest Princess Anna at the time was also placed beside her.

After setting everything in place, Gu Xi also brought out some pieces of eerie flesh.

These mysterious flesh pieces were gained when Gu Xi helped Luna handle the mirror anomaly last time.

Additionally, Gu Xi thought about it and chose a few of the better-quality Grim Reaper Scythes obtained from Maple Leaf Park, placing them outside the Undead Transformation Array.

Once everything was arranged, Gu Xi took a deep breath, holding up the Cold Wind Staff, standing before the [Six Paths Reincarnation Base].

With Gu Xi’s mana infusion, the summoning commenced.

Gu Xi could only feel his mana being frantically drained, the consumption rate almost matching that of the Death Incarnation’s move.

However, Gu Xi persevered against such pressure, and even as his mana rapidly depleted, he showed no signs of backing down.

Instead, he carefully controlled the mana, managing each change within the Undead Transformation Array.

Initially, under Gu Xi’s mana infusion, the black hair of Eldest Princess Anna started turning golden.

Simultaneously, her skin began transforming into a golden hue.

Moreover, the red half-mask originally covering Eldest Princess Anna’s face turned into a golden half-mask, gradually merging with the Professional Hood atop her head to form a pale-golden crown covering half her face.

The crown had six vacant slots without any gems embedded, clearly a crown meant exclusively for Eldest Princess Anna.

Simultaneously, the Broken Water God Guardian Robe was mixing with the dark green liquid of Evil Wood Lake, forming a deep green princess gown.

If one only looked at this princess gown, everyone would think that the person in front of them was a druid fairy.

But now, the situation was visibly different. Observing the formation of this green princess gown, Gu Xi noticed that beneath each leaf forming the green dress, there were faint golden skull patterns and dark red bloodstains.

Seeing that Eldest Princess Anna was about to complete the Undead Transformation, Gu Xi hurriedly took out the already transcribed Undead Contract.

He reached out to open it and spoke to Eldest Princess Anna.

”My name is Gu Xi, and I hope to sign a contract with you, to have you fight for me.”

As Gu Xi spoke, he sent the Undead Contract forward.

”I remember you, young Undead Mage. Your growth surprises me, but this is also my opportunity, and I... am willing to fight for you.”

Faced with Gu Xi’s proposal, the Eldest Princess Anna, who had kept her eyes closed, raised her right hand, reaching out to touch the Undead Contract.

[Ding! Contracted Undead successful, Eldest Princess Anna (Contracted Undead) joined the player’s side.]

After signing the contract with Gu Xi, Eldest Princess Anna slowly opened her eyes, which emitted a bright green glow, and stared at Gu Xi while speaking.

”My lord, your heart has been affected.”
