”You will die!”

Looking at the great anomaly, Gu Xi said directly.

”Quite normal, I have died countless times before, life and death mean nothing to me now.”

”No, this time you might really die, no one will save you, and no one will care, so before accepting the mission, leave behind a seed unrelated to you.”

Upon hearing this, the great anomaly laughed.

”Can I really die, a completely clean death?”

”Truly.”

Gu Xi was quite sure, as once the great anomaly acted, it would be abandoned.

”Good, truly great, I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time. You want someone to guard this Mirror Pupil Land, right? I understand your intentions. When I die, bury this piece of cloth in the Mirror Pupil Land, and in ten days, a new Upside-down Man will naturally appear to help you.”

While speaking, the great anomaly tore off a piece of bandage from its body and handed it to Gu Xi.

”Upside-down Man?”

”Yes, don’t you know my name? Indeed, I have never introduced myself after dying so many times. I’m called Upside-down Man and can move freely through any reflective surface.”

Speaking openly, the Upside-down Man’s cheerful attitude made Gu Xi feel quite positive about him.

Gu Xi felt somewhat reluctant to give up on the Upside-down Man.

However, the Upside-down Man didn’t think so, he was expressing his hardship to Gu Xi.

He wasn’t originally an anomaly, it was only after obtaining eerie powers that he started to move through mirrors.

But as his power grew stronger, he became more tired of this lifestyle.

Every day he could only move within mirrors, and if there were many mirrors nearby, his thoughts would become extremely fine, which was quite uncomfortable.

The reason he wrapped himself in bandages was that his body had disintegrated beyond recognition.

If it weren’t for being a great anomaly, due to a key node, he might have turned into sand.

But precisely because of this key node, it didn’t allow him to rest.

This node was called Mirror Pupil Land because he would be affected by any place reflecting light.

Now, he just wanted to rest well and no longer participate in this matter.

Therefore, when Gu Xi said he would die, he was quite happy.

After talking with the Upside-down Man for a while, Gu Xi informed him of the final task.

He needed to take something from the rain on a certain day and deliver it to a specific address.

The location was a small building, the interior completely mirrored. The Upside-down Man only needed to place the item inside.

As for his death, Gu Xi stated absolutely.

”When you take that item, you will die, and this place will no longer accept your return.”

”That’s enough.”

The Upside-down Man smiled happily.

Seeing the Upside-down Man willing to do this, Gu Xi didn’t linger, a tactic he learned from Eldest Princess Anna.

Don’t confirm anything, no time, no place, no method.

Only then can he safely leave without being caught.

Moreover, neither Gu Xi’s purchased house nor the rented land could be used.

Once Gu Xi snatched the item, he had to leave immediately and never think of returning.

Leaving behind an anchor point, entering again next time was wishful thinking, as if a level 20 big boss wouldn’t chase if half of its body was blown away.

If Gu Xi dared to leave any anchor point, this boss would dare to follow the eerie mirror image space and storm into Yalidu City.

However, Gu Xi was determined to obtain the item.

For this, Gu Xi, Eldest Princess Anna, and Luna devised many plans.

Finally, Eldest Princess Anna made the decision.

To head to the core of the Mirror Image Underground Palace.

The Great Monarch there had power exceeding level 20, Eldest Princess Anna knew the route and could ensure reaching the Great Monarch.

This time, Luna would also accompany them, bringing her prepared mirror anchor point.

Once they acquired the item, they would quickly return, and as for the mirror anchor point, it would be directly placed in front of the Great Monarch.

As for whether the Great Monarch could defeat the Celestial Dao White-robed Great Guanyin, Eldest Princess Anna was confident of this.

The British Royal Family had studied the Great Monarch for countless generations, knowing thoroughly about the Great Monarch’s strength and flaws.

To say they could kill the Great Monarch wasn’t realistic.

But to say they could use the Great Monarch was a simple matter.

As for how this would be used, Eldest Princess Anna was unwilling to say, and Gu Xi didn’t ask further.

Anyway, this morning, Eldest Princess Anna had already left Yalidu City with Luna.

They didn’t take any personnel.

In Eldest Princess Anna’s words, the route she knew didn’t require much protection, plus along the way waited the most loyal Holy Knights for her.

Gu Xi knew this referred to those Holy Knights who, after causing trouble for the Great Monarch, protected Eldest Princess Anna’s body back.

However, the Undead Mage couldn’t bring Death Knights.

Even Eldest Princess Anna couldn’t resolve this, and it was for this reason that the Northern Flower Sivertana had to research other knight training methods.

Eldest Princess Anna should be aware of this.

But she set out regardless.

This left Gu Xi somewhat speechless, but relying on his rapport with the Contracted Undead, he chose to trust Eldest Princess Anna.

In the ensuing time, Gu Xi continued to move within the eerie mirror image space, always opening a mirror to check outside whenever a player claimed to complete a task, confirming the task completion.

Through this task completion, he would distribute rewards.

Additionally, he would tick off the completed tasks, indicating they were handled.

As time passed second by second, by the time it was nearly dark, half of the tasks had been completed.

When darkness fell, players slowed down in completing tasks.

They didn’t forget their identities, knowing nighttime was the Undead Mage’s domain, where they had to slay demons and seize more resources.

Thus, at night they wouldn’t help Gu Xi complete tasks.

These players had their own matters to attend to.

But they knew well that their successful endeavors today were thanks to someone.

Upon leaving, they greeted Gu Xi.

Once most of the players left, Wang Baogen approached Gu Xi.

”Brother, Brother Xia...”

”I’ll handle his matters; it doesn’t concern you. Don’t ask, don’t interfere, alright?”
