Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 412: Chapter 410: The Inverted Westminster Cathedral

Even Luna, with all her experience, was taken aback by the scene before her.

In front of her was an inverted Westminster Cathedral suspended in the sky. At the tip of the cathedral, directly in front of a not-so-tall apple tree, sat a seemingly ordinary middle-aged man half-reclining beneath it.

From a distance, the middle-aged man seemed no different from any regular person.

But in a place like this, no one in their right mind would take him as a normal person.

Upon seeing this middle-aged man from afar, Eldest Princess Anna held Luna back, not allowing her to proceed further.

”We can only go this far; we can’t go any further ahead or we’ll be discovered.”

”Is he the Level 20 Legend?”

Luna immediately grasped the situation before her.

”Yes, no worries; he is a Legend of Britain. As long as we don’t support the Monarch, he won’t interfere with us.”

Eldest Princess Anna proceeded to explain the situation here.

Back when a major incident occurred at Westminster Cathedral, the three Level 20 Legends within Westminster Cathedral promptly acted to stop the control of the cathedral.

But this time, the followers of the Monarch had made ample preparations long before and had devised a plan to deal with the three Level 20 Legends defending Westminster Cathedral.

They arranged five beings of the same level to fight against the three defending Legends at Westminster Cathedral.

Their battlefield was in the void above Victoria City, with the massive eerie apple tree below Westminster Cathedral supporting their Power.

According to their plan, if they could seize Westminster Cathedral, they could use its influence over the British Royal Family to tear open the doors of the Mirror World, allowing the Void Monarch to emerge.

But they underestimated the three Level 20 individuals slumbering within Westminster Cathedral, who were the true national Defenders of Britain.

They were not like the Monarch’s subordinates, elevated by the Monarch’s Strength.

Their prowess was honed through real battles.

Forget about three against five; even one against five, given enough time, they would have sufficient chances of victory.

So the final outcome of the battle was a complete annihilation of the five Level 20 cultists, who at the last moment, intended to use their bodies as bait to lure the Mirror Image of Westminster Cathedral to crash down onto Victoria City.

But they were repelled by the one beneath the apple tree.

Now, the remnants of those five Level 20 bodies are fusing into a giant monster within the inverted Westminster Cathedral, ready to break through the one holding up Westminster Cathedral below and charge again into Victoria City.

”No, when I saw you being rescued, it wasn’t like this; the lord said you had been resurrected three times and headstrongly died three times again.”

”Do you think a battle above Level 20 is a simple one?

This battle lasted fifteen whole days. During these fifteen days, I fought alongside my grand-aunt, and at least a hundred thousand of her troops perished.

In the end, she was both resurrecting and commanding the troop in combat.

I only died three times, which is good; at least, considering my relation, she didn’t use Corpse Burst on my body.

But I was dragged away by those eerie beings; I remember hanging in that corner at the end.

If not for them, I might still be hanging there like a sausage.”

Eldest Princess Anna pointed to a position in the sky.

Luna glanced over and saw a heap of corpses hanging from rooftops and trees over there.

When these corpses swayed in the wind, they truly looked like sausages hanging from the roofs.

”So, are we here to lure the enemies here?”

Luna asked worriedly.

Had she known it was such a situation, she wouldn’t have followed Eldest Princess Anna here.

At this point, Eldest Princess Anna pointed to a side, ”We need to go up from there. You must be careful; the earlier one is the defender of Britain, stopping the Mirror Image of Westminster Cathedral from coming out, so as long as we stay back, he won’t initiate an attack.

But above is the realm of the Monarch, and as we proceed, we will encounter full-scale attacks from the Monarch.”

”Don’t worry, in the Mirror Image, I am invincible.”

Luna said confidently.

After this battle in the Mysterious Mirror Image Space, Luna’s Skills regarding Mirror Images have grown tremendously, just as she claimed, in the Mirror Image, she was in an invincible Status.

”Alright then, I’ll lead you through the path, and after that, you’ll have to manage on your own.”

Eldest Princess Anna looked at Luna and eventually chose to trust her.

”Okay, tell me the position, and then stand before me.”

Eldest Princess Anna pointed to a position within Westminster Cathedral and said, ”See the small building behind the main building of the cathedral, that’s the mournful chamber, where all five deceased Level 20s are placed.

You go to the door, but don’t open it; you only have one chance to open the door.”

”Are bodies stored inside?”

Luna looked as if she thought Anna was joking.

But Eldest Princess Anna did not view it that way.

She very earnestly told Luna, ”Apart from the very beginning when I was fighting inside Westminster Cathedral, I joined the battle in the sky afterward.

But I can clearly state, among the five Level 20s on the cult side, three were influenced by the Monarch’s spirit or injected with his flesh, unnaturally boosting them to Level 20.

The remaining two were simply transformed from the Monarch’s flesh, parts of his body.

We’re here because we’re too weak, and the Monarch won’t notice us.

But look at that.”

Eldest Princess Anna pointed toward the sky.

At the top of Westminster Cathedral, there seemed to be a barely opened eye.

”Is that... the Monarch?”

”No, I’ve never seen the Monarch, but the strength of that eye is beyond our imagination, and that’s enough.”

”Yes, that’s enough.”

Luna understood Eldest Princess Anna’s point.

As long as they could attract power beyond Level 20, stopping the pursuit of the Celestial Dao White-robed Great Guanyin, it was sufficient.

”I will handle it.”

”Alright then, wait here. I’ll head back first, and on my way back, I’ll leave behind my ghouls. When you retreat, be sure not to use your Mirror Image Ability, don’t directly use Mirror Image to return to the city.”

Eldest Princess Anna said earnestly.

Luna understood the meaning behind Eldest Princess Anna’s words and firmly replied, ”I will!”
