Just as Gu Xi was looking confused, the sky suddenly darkened. Gu Xi looked up towards the sky and found a huge mechanical castle flying across it.

The mechanical castle was entirely cast in steel, and even though it was about three to four thousand meters above Gu Xi, he could still clearly see the rivets on the surface of this mechanical castle.

However, what shocked Gu Xi the most was not this, but the various creatures flying near the mechanical castle, like bats.

”Chase...”

Just as Gu Xi was about to order the Stone Golem to chase after it, the mechanical castle disappeared from the sky just as suddenly as it had appeared.

This sudden appearance and disappearance made Gu Xi suspicious of the space in front of him.

”It doesn’t even count as a world, just a lot of nonsense.”

Gu Xi muttered a bit, glanced at the stone statue nearby, and turned to leave.

If Gu Xi didn’t notice anything when he first left the Black-robed Skeleton,

now it’s clear to Gu Xi that when the college was lost in the gap between time and space, several faculties were still scheming against each other.

Although he didn’t know what they were plotting against, it was clear that it had nothing to do with Gu Xi.

Gu Xi was just here to learn Leadership Skills.

As long as he mastered Leadership Skills, it wouldn’t matter even if he didn’t learn the other three basic skills.

So Gu Xi had already made up his mind, as long as no one affects his mission, he would just pretend not to see.

But if anyone dared to stop him from completing his task, then, sorry, even if it was this space, Gu Xi would overturn it.

”Ignore them, let’s go.”

Looking at the dilapidated stone statue weathered by the wind and sun on the mountain top, Gu Xi had no intention of investigating further. He jumped onto the Evil Coffin, took one last look at the other end of the road, and left without looking back.

However, while Gu Xi wanted to complete the task smoothly, someone didn’t adhere to Gu Xi’s plan.

Just as Gu Xi was about to descend from this mountain top into another forest, a vibration suddenly came from behind him.

Gu Xi didn’t turn his head, just lifted the Cold Wind Staff.

”Bone Storm!”

A wide-ranging Bone Storm protected Gu Xi, while a large number of Bone Locusts rushed towards his rear.

Compared to Corpse Poison Flies, Bone Locusts were far greater in number.

The Corpse Poison Flies came in groups of four to five hundred, while Bone Locusts started at five hundred and could generate new Bone Locusts through various forms of devouring, ultimately forming groups of a thousand.

Currently, the Bone Locusts hadn’t reached that limit, but they were nearing a six hundred strong formation.

As they took flight, they swarmed the enemy like a cloud.

However, as soon as the Bone Locusts rushed out, a large batch lost power and fell to the ground.

Obviously, they had been affected by some kind of force and turned into stone.

Hearing the sound of something falling like raindrops from behind, Gu Xi didn’t turn around.

It was because he knew what he would face that Gu Xi didn’t look back.

But not looking back didn’t mean he wouldn’t act; those Bone Locust corpses were the best materials for Gu Xi.

Though Soul Summoning Skill calculated Bone Locust carcasses by group,

Corpse Burst didn’t; it only needed a single Bone Locust corpse.

Gu Xi not turning around didn’t mean he was clueless about what was happening behind him.

He unleashed the Bone Storm specifically to perceive the situation behind him.

When he sensed a huge object approaching about ten meters behind him, Gu Xi pointed the Cold Wind Staff back.

”Corpse Burst!”

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A series of explosions rang out behind him; Gu Xi didn’t need to turn around to know that an enemy was being wounded within the range of the Corpse Burst.

Even though Gu Xi’s Corpse Burst level wasn’t high, with its power only about half the life of a Bone Locust, coupled with the +3 Ice and +3 Flame effects,

no one with even the strongest defense could withstand such an attack.

With the sound of explosions, Gu Xi noticed the enemy who had been rapidly closing in was retreating.

Obviously, he was scared off.

However, Gu Xi didn’t intend to let the opponent go.

He might not want to get involved in certain things, but it didn’t mean Gu Xi needed to fear them.

In Gu Xi’s view, if you don’t provoke him, he’ll pretend not to see, but if you come looking for trouble, then perish.

Therefore, once Gu Xi sensed the opponent retreating beyond the Bone Locust carcass range, he raised his Cold Wind Staff and turned it in a circle to the left.

This was a general command among the Undead Mage, used on the battlefield to direct troops.

After all, on a large battlefield, not everyone can notify the entire field; sometimes shouting alone can’t command a battle.

Various hand signals have become necessary conditions for combat commands.

This gesture from Gu Xi signaled his troops to attack with all their might, regardless of losses, with the objective of eliminating all enemies.

And turning one circle to the right was the exact opposite, urging troops to defend with all might, ignoring foes, with the focus on self-preservation.

Upon receiving such an order, Gu Xi’s subordinates immediately charged forward.

The Bone Locusts, receiving a feeding command, instantly swarmed out.

Soon, Gu Xi heard the sounds of rolling and collision behind him.

This noise lasted nearly three minutes until a ’ding’ sound beside Gu Xi’s ear signaled its end.

[Bone Locusts (Summoned Creatures) killed Rotting Snake Monster (Level 9), you gained 1 experience point (overflow stored 1 point), Summoned Creatures gained 1,015 experience points.]

Seeing this information before him, a smile appeared on Gu Xi’s face.

He could finally turn around.

However, just as Gu Xi turned his head, the smile on his face froze instantly.

Because when Gu Xi gave the order, it was for the Bone Locusts to attack with full force.

And the greatest ability of the Bone Locusts is devouring everything.

Though this Rotting Snake Monster had just been killed, after the assault by the Bone Locusts, not even a bone of the Rotting Snake Monster was left.

Everything visible had been devoured by the Bone Locusts, not to mention the Rotting Snake Monster’s skin and flesh.

Even the internal organs and the content inside that was not yet digested were swallowed by the Bone Locusts.

Among the Bone Locust swarm, there were now some new Bone Locusts. Their size and appearance hadn’t changed much, but their attributes had significantly enhanced.

Most notably, these new Bone Locusts had teeth much sharper than normal, and a black liquid stained their teeth. Clearly, born from devouring the Rotting Snake Monster, they possessed greater abilities than the original Bone Locusts.
