Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 416: Chapter 414: The Plan Driven by the Uncanny

Half an hour later, the Garrison Gate was taken back.

An hour later, Eldest Princess Anna appeared with the Full-Length Mirror about six to seven hundred meters away from the Celestial Dao White-robed Great Guanyin.

At that time, it was raining heavily, but Eldest Princess Anna took the initiative to use the Full-Length Mirror, which could only be used once.

With the opening of the Full-Length Mirror, Gu Xi pushed a catapult modified to look like a small pickup truck into the Full-Length Mirror.

Then Gu Xi noticed that standing behind Eldest Princess Anna were several passersby holding umbrellas.

They were not passersby under hypnosis, but ones drawn by the tasks Gu Xi had issued to the players.

In Gu Xi’s tasks, some required controlling ordinary people in a specific area.

As a result, some commoners were mysteriously influenced, encountering various Ghost Walls and other such reasons, forcing them to appear in certain designated spots.

The appearance of Eldest Princess Anna broke all of this.

They curiously gathered around, wanting to see what Eldest Princess Anna was doing.

However, Eldest Princess Anna did not intend to pay them any attention; she was focused on delivering the items to the last six hundred meters.

The rest would depend on luck.

Previously, Eldest Princess Anna, who carried the Full-Length Mirror over, now held onto this pickup-truck-like catapult, then forcefully pushed it outside the alley.

The catapult broke through the Ghost Wall that trapped them, and those passersby, trapped there for a long time, didn’t care what Eldest Princess Anna was doing; they immediately rushed to the open passage.

Thus, the pickup charged out of the alley with the crowd, getting stuck on the street.

It was daytime, and though there weren’t many vehicles in the city, the street wasn’t devoid of them.

As soon as the pickup appeared, it got side-swiped by another car, and then a sedan came speeding from behind.

The people in the car were having fun, but didn’t notice the eerie figure with three eyes in red, green, and yellow appearing behind them.

This eerie figure was also one of the tasks issued by Gu Xi.

His task was to increase the speed of all vehicles passing near the Celestial Dao White-robed Great Guanyin by 30%, ensuring they don’t stop as they pass.

Such a task would be quite difficult for the average person to carry out.

But for this eerie figure, it was quite simple; many such minor eerie beings controlled the area near the Celestial Dao White-robed Great Guanyin, influencing every passing vehicle.

Their method was similar to the Ghost’s Eye Cover technique.

Under their influence, the vehicles unconsciously sped up.

Sometimes, those accelerating vehicles couldn’t see the situation on the road clearly, so the pickup got dragged towards the Celestial Dao White-robed Great Guanyin.

Meanwhile, Gu Xi and others made arrangements near the Celestial Dao White-robed Great Guanyin.

But Gu Xi couldn’t pay attention to those arrangements anymore.

As the pickup was pushed out, Eldest Princess Anna seized the last opportunity and squeezed into the Full-Length Mirror.

The moment she squeezed in, the Full-Length Mirror shattered on the spot, turning into pieces on the ground.

Among these shards, the Upside-down Man, long brought out by Eldest Princess Anna, began to leap back and forth within the mirror, jumping higher and faster, until he disappeared into the rain.

”Sir.”

Returning to Yalidu City, Eldest Princess Anna glanced at Gu Xi, who was sitting on the ground touching the Mysterious Treasure Chest, and was about to speak.

At this moment, Gu Xi nodded at her, ”Sit down, we still need to wait for a moment.”

”Wait until when?”

For this question, Gu Xi glanced at the Special Coin in his hand.

”I don’t know, when the time is right, there will be a reaction naturally.”

Simultaneously, under the Celestial Dao White-robed Great Guanyin Statue, a player was staring intently at it.

Under his gaze, the Celestial Dao White-robed Great Guanyin Statue sensed something; the statue initially with its head raised slowly lowered, focusing its gaze directly on this player.

Seeing such an action from the Celestial Dao White-robed Great Guanyin, the player’s face was filled with excitement.

”Indeed, the intelligence was accurate; such a large Guanyin Statue can be controlled, hahaha, Gu Xi, you didn’t expect this, did you? This time I should gain the benefit.

Let’s see, what did the intelligence say, when the Celestial Dao White-robed Great Guanyin nods, recite a spell.

Something like Divine Dragon Warrior?

Then run into the light emitted from the eyes.”

This player failed to notice that the Celestial Dao White-robed Great Guanyin’s eyes were already emitting a white light, which landed on him.

Under this white light, his body rapidly decayed, with his memories and soul being absorbed into the eyes of the Celestial Dao White-robed Great Guanyin.

The Celestial Dao White-robed Great Guanyin slowly comprehended Gu Xi’s arrangements during this period, and she glanced up at the heavy rain in the sky, as if sensing an eerie power within it.

Although not knowing what Gu Xi intended to do, the Celestial Dao White-robed Great Guanyin still felt uneasy.

Thus, she slowly raised her left hand, aiming the Jade Purification Bottle at the sky, intending to collect the raindrops.

At this moment, under Gu Xi’s various arrangements, the catapult disguised as a pickup truck just arrived nearby.

The truck’s original route was towards the plot of land Gu Xi rented.

But due to various reasons, influenced mysteriously, such as a stone accidentally rolling from nearby to shove it, or a stream of water giving it an unintentional nudge.

Now the pickup was getting further from the rented spot, but one thing was right, the truck had entered within about two hundred meters in front of the Celestial Dao White-robed Great Guanyin.

Gu Xi had players arranged to orchestrate a wave of eeriness there.

Their task was simple, when a vehicle arrives, they find a way to aim its front towards the Celestial Dao White-robed Great Guanyin.

Then flip all the switches on the vehicle.

For an ordinary vehicle, flipping all the switches at most involves the wipers, lights, radio, and so on.

But for the catapult disguised as a pickup, there was only one switch on the vehicle, which was the catapult button.

No one would know what this button does, but while the pickup was within about two hundred meters of the Celestial Dao White-robed Great Guanyin Statue, a mystical force promptly aimed the vehicle’s headlights towards it.

Then the button on the vehicle was pressed.

At this moment, the trash in the pickup’s cargo bed suddenly transformed into its original form.

A wooden catapult edged with steel.

On top of the catapult was a metal sphere roughly a meter in diameter, embedded with many gems that flashed with various lights.
