Gu Xi opened his eyes, feeling as if he had slept for a long time, with his whole body having a rusty feeling that made him not want to move.

His limbs felt heavy, making Gu Xi wonder if he had experienced sleep paralysis during the ten or so days of slumber.

He tried to lift his hand, noticing that the ring on his right index finger had turned into an ordinary iron ring.

However, all the attributes of the Fox Eye Ring were still intact, and its status changed from unbound to bound.

The orange armor is now successfully locked.

As he pushed outwards with force, the bubble around him expanded and the strong buoyancy brought Gu Xi to the surface of the water.

Climbing out of the water, Gu Xi moved to the shore, his body covered in green liquid.

At this moment, Gu Xi noticed that the Six Paths Reincarnation Base on the shore had been renovated at some point. Although it didn’t look like its original form, a polished Blood Maple Wood was placed on the base.

More and more souls were attracted by the Six Paths Reincarnation Base, becoming part of Yalidu City.

Before Gu Xi could take a close look, a voice came from not far away.

”My lord.”

Gu Xi turned around and saw Luna and Eldest Princess Anna approaching, aware of Gu Xi’s awakening.

To their surprise, standing beside them was Shaya, who had always been staying in Victoria City.

At this moment, Shaya was holding a wooden stick in her left hand and had a Long Saber on her back. It was obvious that Luna had already given Shaya the Evil Blade - Well Dragon’s Chant following Gu Xi’s request.

The arrival of the three Contracted Undead calmed Gu Xi’s heart significantly.

”You’ve come over.”

As soon as Gu Xi finished speaking, Luna and Shaya hurried over to help Gu Xi put on his previous gear.

Taking this opportunity, Gu Xi looked at himself in the mirror. He realized that the fifteen days spent soaking in Evil Wood Lake hadn’t been in vain; his body had mostly recovered, no longer as emaciated as skin and bones.

Instead, he had returned to the appearance of a normal person, even gaining a layer of muscle on his body.

Now, Gu Xi embodied health and vitality.

After putting on all his gear, Gu Xi finally walked towards Luna and the others.

Gu Xi glanced at Shaya first, ”How is the situation in Victoria City?”

”Victoria City has started rebuilding. The houses those people promised us have already been arranged. I came back this time to ask Luna to move the Furnace Stone.

Moreover, the tavern and underground trading post in Victoria City have been set up. We just need some manpower to assist now.”

”Regarding manpower, I’ve given Shaya a token. They’re some of my old friends that I no longer need, so I’ll let Shaya oversee them.”

Eldest Princess Anna chimed in at this point.

Gu Xi nodded understandingly, it seemed Eldest Princess Anna had severed ties with Victoria City after learning about the bodies Gu Xi specifically sent back.

This was a good thing for Eldest Princess Anna.

It indicated that Eldest Princess Anna had adapted to her new identity.

Meanwhile, it also meant that Eldest Princess Anna had taken a significant step forward.

However, Gu Xi wasn’t focused on this matter now; he asked Shaya, ”So can you stay by my side in the future?”

”Yes, there have been so many battles I’ve missed, it’s quite embarrassing.”

”Haha, just being able to stabilize Victoria City is already helping me. In the coming period, if you’re available, please assist with intelligence matters.

I can only grasp some surface information, and I might inadvertently miss out on crucial details.”

”Sure.” Shaya readily agreed.

Then Gu Xi turned to Luna, ”How is Yalidu City now?”

”Since the construction crew’s camp was established, the city’s construction speed has increased significantly, and Yalidu City is close to level 6.”

Hearing this, Gu Xi’s eyes lit up, ”Let’s go and see!”

Luna nodded consentingly upon hearing this.

They didn’t go to the Political Hall first and start afresh; since Gu Xi woke up in the Magic Plant District, he naturally checked the situation there first.

In the beginning, the Magic Plant District had only one large plot left. Even though additional methods supplemented it later, the large plot never returned to its original state.

There are two large plots in total here.

Previously, there was no construction here because various buildings were queuing up. With the engineering team capable of working on two projects simultaneously, some large building plots were prioritized.

In the Magic Plant District, the large plots were constructed.

Two buildings were placed here: the [Eagle-Catching Spider’s Nest] and the [Inclined Roof].

These two buildings were situated on either side of Evil Wood Lake; [Inclined Roof] was closer to the direction of the Blood Maple Tree, conveniently also near Gu Xi.

Upon reaching here, Gu Xi could immediately see this building.

Due to its proximity to the largest Blood Maple Tree, this building was first influenced by it and had completely transformed into an Undead style.

Looking at it now, it looked like an abandoned house engulfed by trees. When Gu Xi arrived, he coincidentally saw about two hundred Crow Gunners descending from the sky.

These Crow Gunners had crow heads, wore Japanese spearmen’s grass armor, had black wings on their backs, with their hands and legs rotted away to bones.

They held a Long Spear over three meters long, their movements in the air were unusually agile, not at all like dead bodies.

”It seems like the number of these crows has increased a bit.”

Gu Xi asked curiously as he looked at the Crow Gunners.

”The Dark Farm has been integrated, and the Crow Forest affects all buildings related to crows, increasing weekly production.”

With Luna’s explanation, Gu Xi understood; it seemed those buildings that increased weekly production for the training camp were indeed quite useful.

”Oh, where are the two new areas built?”

”They are situated on both sides of the road leading to Yaliduvi Tower. We cleared plots along the road earlier, and they integrated well into the new areas, serving as empty plots for those districts, extending the range.

At the Dark Farm, I placed all agriculture-related buildings there.

At the Ghost-faced Ruins, we set up replicated large buildings, like the Star Curtain Graveyard and Wandering Street, preparing to form a barracks there.”

Luna explained her arrangements, and by this time, Gu Xi and his group had reached the vicinity of the [Eagle-Catching Spider’s Nest].

Once here, Gu Xi couldn’t help but pause; compared to the previous [Inclined Roof], the [Eagle-Catching Spider’s Nest] looked even more terrifying.
