Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 437: Chapter 435: Journey Through the Sewer

Listening to Di Mi’s words, Gu Xi thought for a moment and then looked at Luna.

Luna raised her head and looked at the sky.

A force of three thousand men, wanting to become the main attacking legion, the most suitable place now is the already opened two eras of Yalidu City.

”Go to the barracks over there and report. After that, during the Tudor Dynasty or the York Dynasty, choose one and prepare for battle. You know the Soul Summoning Skill, right? If not, take a vassal army with you to transport the corpses back for processing.

If you know it, handle it yourself.

Before going into battle, first inquire about intelligence with the White Bone Wine Lady.

This is both a test for you and a reward for you.”

Di Mi thought for a moment, and finally agreed. As for where to go, Di Mi needed to inquire about the situation.

After all, the situations in the two eras are different, and Di Mi had also been to Yaliduvi Tower, where she met the Headless Queen wandering at the outermost part of Yaliduvi Tower.

They had become quite good handkerchief acquaintances.

So she knew something about the Tudor Dynasty, but not much about the York Dynasty.

Now choosing between the two dynasties, one cannot act on impulse.

It is essential to consider some issues here: what is the most special troop unit in each era? Are there any experts? What one would face? These are all things Di Mi needs to consider.

Most importantly, now that Di Mi has formed a legion, Gu Xi has let Di Mi, if capable, summon on her own to replenish the troops, indicating that Gu Xi has delegated authority.

Therefore, in the future, when wanting to replenish or expand the forces, as well as various weapon supplies, all need to be handled by Di Mi herself.

The matters here cannot be dealt with so easily.

Di Mi couldn’t help but think about what she can use at hand.

Maybe she could produce some Alchemy Potions for sale to exchange for better weaponry.

Looking at Di Mi contemplatively, Gu Xi resumed his final patrol, and this time, he specifically went to the well, entered the sewer area, and saw the Wangyan Laboratory and the Heart-Eye Sword Dojo built in the sewer zone.

Although both buildings were situated in the sewers, their occupied area was not small at all.

Moreover, the styles of the two buildings were completely different; the style at the Heart-Eye Sword Dojo was quite simple and clean, with all the sewage on the ground cleared, and along the way, one could see many wooden stakes erected, in front of each one a man with eyes wrapped in black cloth was practicing swordsmanship.

Their movements were quite powerful, but Gu Xi could tell from their skin that they had been influenced by the Blood Maple, and were slowly transforming towards the Undead, along with the building.

The Wangyan Laboratory was different; it resembled a garbage dump. Not only did they not clean up the sewage in the sewers, but they also tossed experimental specimens out because of the original filth here.

Here Gu Xi saw the troop type of the Wangyan Laboratory, Wangyan Musicians.

Their appearance resembled dead musicians with hollow eye sockets, dressed in Scottish kilts, holding Scottish bagpipes in their arms.

When they played, a large number of decaying rats would follow behind them.

These are the Wangyan Musicians.

[Wangyan Musicians (Level 4): Experience (0/750), Attack 6, Defense 4, Life 25, Skills: Immune to Blindness, Funeral Song (curses enemies, reducing enemy life force), Shu Qu (attracts a large group of rats to attack the enemy), Joyful Song (increases self troops’ attack power).]

Looking at the situation of the Wangyan Musicians, Gu Xi knew what kind of existence they were. This is considered a support-type unit.

They can curse enemies and enhance their own troops, with some combat power. Although not very strong, it is sufficient for certain situations.

Such a unit made Gu Xi not say much as long as they were useful.

After that, Gu Xi walked a big circle inside the sewer area.

Finally, he exited from another exit of the sewers.

Compared to the already occupied land on the ground, there were still quite a few plots in the sewers. Now Luna had a construction queue building a medium-sized building here.

Gu Xi went over to take a look and found this engineering team was originally the construction team of Yalidu City, all composed of Zombies; although their movements were slow while working, they transported a significant amount of stuff.

Besides, a single one of them could lift heavy objects easily and assemble everything like putting together toys.

It could be seen that their ability to complete a medium-small building within 12 hours wasn’t without reason.

With such capability and sufficient resources, failing to complete the construction would indeed be odd.

Perhaps to the engineering team, such buildings might be no different from a table or a chair.

Out of the sewers, Gu Xi climbed to a ground position near the Astrologer’s Tower.

This was a small two-story building, with a bulletin board in front displaying the situation of the week.

[This week is the Week of Sulfur; all Demon species troop units increase by 50%.]

When Gu Xi stepped out, the first thing he saw was the bulletin board information.

At the same time, there was an owl standing on the bulletin board.

Seeing this startled Gu Xi, thinking someone was looking for him.

But he soon realized that this owl wasn’t from the Owl House but was originally perched on this board, seemingly intended for weekly announcements, informing everyone what kind of week it was.

This relieved Gu Xi quite a bit.

After being away for fifteen days, he didn’t know if the people from the Chaoyang Radiance Guild had been looking for him.

However, since Gu Xi hadn’t organized the city and troops well or learned the Death Decree, he didn’t want to get involved in the guild’s matters yet.

Even if he wanted to get involved, he would wait until he finished digesting this wave of things.

Thus, upon seeing that the owl wasn’t seeking him but rather serving as a broadcast, Gu Xi was finally relieved.

Subsequently, Gu Xi turned to Luna and said, ”I remember we have an architectural design plan for a School Radio Station, you can build a School Radio Station here and broadcast every Monday, so the owl doesn’t need to notify.

Now, with just one Yalidu City, it can be informed directly, but once other era Yalida are captured, can the owl manage to notify?

That would be too slow, and broadcasting is the most suitable way.”

Luna nodded to indicate understanding, and as they spoke, they were about to head towards the Assembly Hall not far away, beyond which was the direction towards the Main City Gate.
